I have not reviewed anything on Yelp in a long, long time. I have now eaten here three times and…read morethe food quality, taste, and consistency is absolutely terrific. In my previous reviews I Utilized a Good, Bad, and Ugly rating scale. I really like most everything about Superette. The staff are very eclectic and nice, outdoor dining is relaxing and invigorating. There are not many things better than sitting outside under oak trees while eating delicious savory food and enjoying a good wine or cocktails. Replaying last night's dinner in my head has me planning my next visit to Superette. Sunday brunch this weekend is calling my name. Oh,'one more thing, Superette is also the place to go where you will only run into the people you like. The folks you don't care for are not going to be there. Just my observation.

The sweet potato soup had a puréed, baby‑food texture, but the flavor itself was surprisingly rich and comforting. The star for me was the Tunisian casse‑croûte. The flavors were incredible; the albacore was tender and seasoned just right, the salata mechouia added this smoky, roasted pepper depth, and the pickled egg brought the perfect tangy brightness. The arugula gave it a fresh, peppery lift, and the harissa aioli tied everything together with a warm, subtle heat. The fries on top added the best crunchy contrast. Every bite was layered, bold, and so satisfying.

I like me some Fresh Market; we've been friends for years and years. It's actually cheaper to shop Aldi on Instacart and get it delivered to the house than go to Publix. And RIP Kroger. Meats are just better and often cheaper here. Bakery's fantastic. Sushilicious! lol Don't even ask me about the rotisserie chicken. Worlds better. You don't want that Pubix pigeon. Jyeah, you could totally upgrade yourself into bankruptcy shopping interesting and unusual things but you don't have to. Stick to the script and you'll be better off for it. I'm still relishing the delicious filet, chops, those wildly giant asparagus and lobster we've bought here over the last many months.

We were looking for a quick lunch spot and found this deli on yelp. I didn't read the reviews so I…read moredidn't know it was on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I ordered a veal spare rib meal with salad from the specials menu, my wife ordered the salmon sandwich. Both meals were fantastic and everything was very fresh. I would consider it to revile far fancier restaurants in terms of quality and presentation. If you are looking for a great place and don't mind sitting outside on a patio and busing your own table this is for you!

Finally tried this awesome spot located in the 4th Ave Food Park! I had heard so much about this…read moreplace and it was even featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives". Their menu consists of some staple sandwiches, wraps, sausage dogs, and salads, along with daily specials. They also have a meat counter where you can buy a variety of very unique flavored/seasoned meats that are all made in house. The shop isn't super big and there is limited indoor seating. Although the food park offers plenty of coveted outdoor seating options. Service was great and pretty quick. The guy who took my order was helpful in answering my questions too. Everything is made fresh to order with higher quality ingredients. This is very evident in the taste of the sandwiches, they are truly next level! I ended up ordering a Muffuletta sandwich and a walking taco. Both of these were on the daily special menu. The muffuletta was loaded with ham, salami, mortadella, Swiss cheese, provolone, olives, Dijon aioli, lettuce, tomato, and onion on ciabatta. This sandwich was huge! The meat was super flavorful and you could really taste each one of them in each bite. I loved the ciabatta, especially because it wasn't too thick and didn't take away from the sandwich. The cheeses were mild melted perfectly on the sandwich. The fresh tomato's, lettuce, and onion complimented the other components nicely as well. I will say I wish the olives and aioli had been more prominent, as this is what truly makes a muffuletta of muffuletta. So I wouldn't really classify this as a traditional muffuletta sandwich and it reminded me more of an Italian sandwich. The walking taco included Fritos, chilli, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, and house-made ranch. I thought these were decent. This wasn't the most impressive thing, but it was still tasty. I wish there had been more meat in the chilli and the cheese was melted on top of the Fritos. The onions were simply chopped red onions and seemed too strong for the dish. While this was good, it isn't something I'd go out of the way to order. I would probably stick to the sandwiches and such as that is what truly shines here! Overall, I was more than impressed with this place. I love that it is located in the food park too! Ordering is easy and the service is welcoming. They offer a nice variety of deli options and there is something for everyone. You can taste the difference in the food here compared to other places. They use high quality ingredients and put a lot of passion into their work. I also love that they have fun switching up parts of the menu daily with unique options. While my muffuletta reminded me more of an Italian sando, it was still one of the best sandwiches I've had in the area by far. The sandwich was absolutely packed with meat and made the price completely justifiable. The bread was really fresh and not too thick, which I really appreciated. The walking taco was decent, but nothing to ride home about. If you are in the area and want a good sandwich, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by.

The broccolini ended up being my favorite part of the plate; garlicky, tender, and so flavorful. My parents' meals looked incredible too, and I snagged a few bites. Everything was light, flavorful, and surprisingly delicious. After a hot day, we wanted something that felt both satisfying and not too heavy, and this meal was exactly what we needed. I would absolutely go back. Our server was attentive but not pushy or forgetful. He came and visited us throughout our meal to make sure everything was good. Our appetizer and drink orders taken, we set to decide whether to try the Greek offerings or the Italian! Both looked delicious and the reviews I read previously really set my mouth watering for pizza AND the souvlaki! Unfortunately, my husband got his good old standby, Chicken Parmesan. We both tried different medium pizzas and we ordered Calamari Fritta (but asked for the peppers to not be included) as our appetizer. Have you ever had super fresh REAL calamari? Sliced fresh and hand breaded and then served to you? I had one other time in Tarpon Springs, and this was just as incredibly dished up for us! Marinara sauce and a spicy sweet sauce like a Mae Ploy was also served with them and two nice lemon slices. Stupendous! Our drinks? Perfectly done-- considering our excellent waiter, AJ, didn't know what an Arnold Palmer even was! What a surprising, talented young man! My souvlaki! Absolutely to die for! Wowza! The side I got was the garlic broccolini and YUMMMMM! My husband's chicken parm was so good that he devoured it BEFORE I could even snap a picture! LOL Our pizzas were some of the best we've ever had. The crust is so delicious and they sure don't hold back on the toppings. I consumed half of mine without even realizing it. Wow. I got the Lil' Sicily that has pepperoni, sausage, ricotta, basil and oregano. The hubby chose the Scoula pie that has pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. Both were out of this WORLD! Needless to say, I think we just found our newest favorite spot for dinner. So many Greek dishes to keep me happy and plenty of Italian ones to keep the husband happy too! Don't know why we hadn't stopped in before now to try this place!! They are truly a wonderful restaurant and anyone would be hard pressed to find anything wrong with good food at good prices!

I needed a cheesecake for a friend's birthday and they were the cheapest option for those that still had availability. I ordered for pickup and when i got there around lunch time on a Friday, there were a few people inside. It was at that moment I realized there was a deli inside. While this place is like down the street from where I live, I had never actually been inside. Since it was busy, there was a tiny wait but nothing crazy. I told the woman what I needed and she quickly packaged up the cake. The taste was great! Now I will say I'm not used to Italian cheesecake, meaning I'm not used to there not being a crust but that's okay. I enjoyed it but more importantly the birthday girl was satisfied and that's all that matters. I do plan to go back to try other desserts and the deli .
