    Soy chicken meal with veggies
    Susan N.

If you want a quick meal and cheap. This is the place. Big portions for great price. I love their roasted duck here. Always my go-to. The veggies changes daily. Would come again. This location closes later than the chamblee one.

These are hands down the least flavorful noodles I've ever had. No soy, salt, spice, sesame...there's nothing. It's almost confusingly bland searching for any kind of discernible flavor. The egg drop soup was okay though, and the service was polite and friendly.

I ordered the roast crispy pork over rice, but the pork wasn't crispy at all. I made sure to arrive early, so I know it wasn't sold out--I even saw it on display. It's disappointing because it feels like they might be using older pieces of pork for their rice plates. If that's the case, I could definitely find better quality elsewhere. Despite everything, it was a pretty large portion size.

We had the Peking Duck which was amazing! Excellent value and tasty dishes with enough for leftovers. The honey barbecue pork is always a favorite

Great food! So many places to pick from in Duluth. This was a great find! Service good. Ambiance: lots of food to see.

You can never go wrong with Ming's. Their service is quick and their food is great. Almost as authentic as it gets in Duluth for Cantonese.

My cousin took me here on my visit. I had the beef with vegetables over rice. It was fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Duck and pork over rice

Had dinner here on a Thursday night with a friend. It wasn't so busy so we got seated right away. The menu is a bit overwhelming to look at but I like the fact that they have pictures on the menu of what the dishes look like. When I come here, I usually order a dish with duck so I ordered the crispy pork and duck over rice and my friend ordered the duck with tofu over rice. My dish was good but my friend's dish was even better! I would definitely recommend the duck and tofu over rice. They stir fried the duck and tofu in a flavorful sauce. I didn't mind the duck skin not being crispy but if you want crispy duck skin, then I would order something else. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I I would definitely come back here when I'm in the area.

Food was 8/10 ------ Honey roast pork is 10/10 - tender fatty and delicious Roast pork I give 7/10 because it looked refried instead of fresh...how do you tell? The meat is browned instead of white. And you can tell the skin is not as crispy as fresh Roast duck 8/10 - nothing special White rice - dry Yang zhou fried rice - good flavor SERVICE the lady who came speaks English/Chinese and probably Vietnamese too. She was nice taking our order, woman of very little words. What irked me the most was when I paid in cash...she looked like she was having trouble finding bills that weren't $1s or $5s so I said just give me $20 back instead of $25. She balked at me and said "that's it?? For the tip??" Lady, that's behavior to get you no tip, wtf? I'm not your boss. I was planning on giving her more at the table but I mean your loss. Greed over a tip when you did nothing over the top or make conversation the whole time I was there. Just yikes. Order to go for tasty honey bbq pork!

I found the pork belly to be really tasty. There was a nice marinade over the skin and meat, plus the skin was pretty crispy even when some of the pieces got a little too moist inside the container. I thought there was a generous portion of the crispy pork in my meal. There were some mustard greens in the rice plate which added nice variation in taste. I also got a small cup of complementary soup on the side which I did not try but it did smell good. Overall, I think that my meal was pretty good. I would probably come back if I am ever inside the Great Wall Supermarket.

There was big screen tv and karaoke setup. That was about it for the positives. Most of us showed up around 6:30pm on a Saturday night. The parking lot was pretty empty in front of Canton House. I looked over into the parking lot of Gohan Buffet and it was super packed vs Canton. We got the Family Dinner ($600) which feeds up to 10 people. We got 2 of them because we had around 20 people. The dinner comes with 10 dishes. 1. FISH MAW CRAB MEAT SEAFOOD SOUP 2. HONG KONG STYLE TWIN LIVE LOBSTERS 3. FOUR SEASONS APPETIZER PLATTER 4. WALNUT SHRIMP WITH FRESH FRUIT 5. STEAK CUBES & ASPARAGUS STIR FRY 6. LIVE DUNGENESS CRAB STIR FRY IN TAMARIND 7. PEKING DUCK WITH LOTUS BUNS (2 WAYS) 8. PAN FRIED CHILEAN SEA BASS WITH SOY 9. SNOW PEA LEAVES IN GOGI BERRY STOCK 10. GOLD & SILVER SEAFOOD FRIED RICE We had the crab soup first which had 0 flavor and I didn't even taste or see any crab inside. It was not good. The Hong Kong Style Lobster was a small portion and I barely got to eat any. 4 seasons appetizer was okay but just mainly fried stuff. Steak cubes were super small and I only had one. The walnut shrimp dish tasted like the honey shrimp from the low budget Chinese buffets. Dungeness crab was nicely decorated but didn't taste good. Peking duck wasn't bad but the portion was too small. It didn't help people in my party was grabbing big portions and being selfish. The sea bass was very good and I loved the crunchy ness to it. The snow peas dish was not very desirable as I had no clue what was inside. The fried rice was garbage as I tasted better fried rice from Panda Express. It had tiny shrimp bits like from low budget shrimp pieces from Krogers. Let's get to the table service part. One of the females had a real nasty attitude and didn't seem like they were too happy to be here. We finished eating and ate our cake. We wanted to have alittle fun with the karaoke but apparently the staff members kept coming in to "check" on us every 5 minutes. They weren't there to check on us as it felt like they were trying to rush us out so they can clean up. One employee even had the nerve to say, isn't it getting dark out? I was highly insulted by this. Affer spending approximately over $1700 at Canton House, I expected alittle more nicer hospitality. And from looking at their regular dining area, which maybe had only 4-5 tables with customers seat. They can use our business as the food here sucks. Affer the 5th time of employees coming to "check" on us, we all got tired and decided to leave. I do not recommend this place as the food and customer service just stinks here. I will definitely not giving them any of my hard earned money on the future. The dim sum as I remembered wasn't the best but I gave them a chance and still gave them a decent review. The value for the food is horrible. But I didn't hold anything back this time as they have been opened for a very long time.

Having been at least once every couple months for years, it's our Chinese comfort food as dim sum is meant to be. Although I would recommend arriving at anytime they are open, we find the absolute best time for dim sum is to arrive right at opening on Saturday or Sunday. This time lets us beat the wait, get a great table fast, and the food is super plentiful, hot and fresh out of the kitchen. The chrysanthemum tea is a must have and complements the food as a perfect, tasty, and just sweet enough palate cleanser (although I would prefer to add the rock sugar myself to my tea, they serve it with sugar already inside the pot). For the absolute best pairing with your chrysanthemum tea, make sure to save room for the awesome pineapple buns while supplies last. They were out today and we all collectively cried (will be going back just for the pineapple buns soon...we are just not complete without them!). We love all the dishes, but our absolute favorites (outside of the pineapple buns) are the pork spare ribs with black bean, the beef rice rolls/noodles, shrimp dumplings, and turnip cakes. Add some spicy sauce to the spare ribs and turnip cakes to really set them off! For iced coffee lovers who like it really strong, don't pass up on the iced coffee. It has legs that are strong enough to walk, but completely complements the dim sum with a little extra boost to help you enjoy the day. So, I challenge others to find a better dim sum place in Atlanta. That is why Canton House earns my 5th star and looking forward to getting my pineapple buns (really) soon!

The dish also came with what looked like Chinese broccoli, which added a nice balance to the meal. The portion size was great -- it came in a standard takeout container but was definitely enough for both of us to share and feel full. The BBQ pork was the highlight for me (4/5). It was tender, juicy, and nicely caramelized with that classic sweet-savory glaze. The edges had a slight char that added extra depth, and each bite was flavorful without being overwhelming. The roasted pork, on the other hand, was just okay (2.5/5). While the skin had a bit of crispiness, the meat itself leaned on the tougher side and wasn't as juicy as I'd hoped. Unfortunately, there were quite a few bony pieces, which made it feel like we were getting less actual meat. Flavor-wise, it was a bit underwhelming and didn't have the same richness or satisfying texture as the BBQ pork. One thing that really stood out was the sauce poured over everything -- it was savory, slightly sweet, and tied all the components together really well. I also appreciated that the overall dish wasn't too salty, which made it easier to enjoy without feeling heavy. Service-wise, the cashier was friendly and answered our questions clearly, which made ordering easy. Since it's located in a food court, there was plenty of seating available, and it wasn't busy at all for a Saturday around 5 PM -- a nice, relaxed dining experience. Amazing food, excellent service, and amazing food; it warranted repeating. I just moved back in to town and was excited to have my favorite Cantonese food in Atlanta but honestly, after our meal today, I don't know that I'll be back and I certainly won't be bringing any more of my friends. Service: Everyone was still really kind. But the food came out slowly for how dead they were. We were halfway there of our dishes when I mentioned to the waiter that two more dishes were missing. He spoke with the waiter who took our order and they said they were coming. A half hour later and the dishes still hadn't arrived. I asked again and they apologize profusely and said it would be out shortly. Unfortunately, that's where the niceties ended... Food: Overall, the food was really bad. The best thing about Cantonese food is how complex the flavors are and when there is a good chef, it is my favorite cuisine in the world. That is what BBQ Corner has been in the past...but not anymore. All of the dishes, especially dishes with sauce, were overly sweet and very one note. The eggplant with garlic came with a bright red sauce that had no garlic in it. When I mentioned to the waiter that it was the wrong sauce, she said "No, that is spicy garlic sauce." I have had that dish at this restaurant at least five times and more than 20 times elsewhere. It was the wrong sauce and the sauce wasn't good. She and another waiter spoke to the kitchen and later apologized. Assessment: I think ownership changed and they took their cooks with them. Instead of the lite, complex flavors of Cantonese food of which they were once masters, this meal felt like mediocre Chinese takeout. While the waitstaff is lovely and mistakes happen (I still tipped 30% because it was Christmas), the food just wasn't good enough to warrant a return trip. I'm sad because this place used to be my favorite...one summer a friend and I ate there three times in one week. But things have changed and definitely not for the better.
