Loved my first experience here. Pedi was $21 and it included paraffin and a nice massage. They left my toe nails looking amazing. I also did a gel mani and was in and out in about an hour. I'm always busy so appreciated them being fast. The only thing they need to improve is getting new towels for the hot towel treatments. Went back to this place twice more and it definitely makes a difference on who does your nails. The last two times my gel manicure has only lasted a few days. I got a pedicure here on Mother's Day. I was glad they were open as a lot of nail salons are closed on Sundays. It was a spur of the moment decision so I was a walk-in. I didn't have to wait very long and I was happy with my pedicure. Then on June 29th, I walked in for acrylic fills and waited about 15 minutes. Long did a great job on my nails. Couple disclaimers: 1. I'm a dude. A big dude at that. Chewbacca-sized. I'm not gay, love women, and am about as manly as men get. 2. My feet are not gnarly goblin feet from the Zombie apocalypse, but lets be honest, I fkn suck at cutting my own nails. The deal-breaker for me was when I was spooning with a beautiful woman and caught a hangnail on her. That sucked. I think she broke up with me due to that. Determined to not lose anymore hot chicks, I figured why the hell not. I checked this place out due to Yelp reviews, made an appt (they saw me within 2hrs...when I was free) and everything else was uneventful. The pedicure was fkn amazing. You ladies are definitely onto something with this shit. They poured hot wax on my feet which felt like my toes were nestled in the buttocks of an angel. I don't think my feet have ever felt or looked so good....and I have decent looking wheels. They are soft, smooth and spectacular. They rubbed this good-smelling crap on my legs and did a halfhearted massage while the wax was encasing my feet in Carbonite. So for 25 bucks, this shit is the real deal. Fellas, if you are secure in your manhood get off your ass and get a pedicure. It feels amazing, and trust me no woman likes your feet if they look like an Eagles talon. In fact, chicks don't give a shit about your nasty-ass feet. Just don't make it something they notice in a negative way. read more

The BEST pedicure I have had. When you walk in, you are prompty greeted and the place is very welcoming and inviting. They have the latest magazines on display (a must have for those walk ins that require a 10 minute wait) and the prices are very reasonable. I love the leg massage and the foot scrub and that they don't make fun of me (in english anyway) that I giggle like a little girl every time they are scrubbing away. I can't help that I am ticklish! But the best part of my $20 pedi is that they use this really hot foot wax that makes my feet feel like a baby's butt only softer! They dip your feet in this tub of pretty pink hot wax and then wrap your foot in a plastic bag until the wax hardens and waalah, your feet are soft and smooth. But even better than that is how my pedi will last for-ever! And I wont need to go back (although I will want to because it is so relaxing) for at least 6 weeks!! No paint chipping, no ugly rough spots, nothing!!! Four stars instead of five because of the location. They are hidden behind a gas station and you can't even see it and parking is a B***** because of all the other businesses around. read more

I used to LOVE this place! I even wrote a previous review raving about how much I enjoyed getting my nails here. But I will never be back now! I went about a week ago to get a fill. They turned out ok. There were some spots that could have been better and a couple nails didn't have any acrylic on the sides. But really not a big deal to me. They looked ok. Now, a week later I started to see dark spots under the white/clear parts of my nails. I ended up taking the nails off myself and there was fungus or something under the acrylic!! This place is awesome. They offer the best pedicures in Modesto. They are just a little more expensive than the usual pedicure elsewhere but it is worth it for all they do. Harry & another of the employees does the best pedicure massages but all of the employee's pedicures have been amazing! I look forward to coming in every couple of weeks for my pedicure! I don't know why I've never left a review before now. I love this place for pedicures. Seriously the best pedicures in Modesto. You can choose from their basic pedicure for $22 then they go up in price to about $35 if you want a European pedicure, Lavender pedicure, Mojito Pedicure. I totally recommend a European or Lavender. They pedicures go longer than an hour with a lot of massaging. I always get the gel (shellac) ($15 extra) on my toes and for some reason their gel lasts longer than anyone elses. I can go about 2-3 months with absolutely no chipping. It's amazing. I always leave feeling satisfied. I don't ask for anyone in particular to do my pedicures because everyone there is great! I have been getting acrylic faithfully for 6 years now. After trying every salon in Modesto, I have never found a better place. I currently live in Hayward now and still drive back home every 2 weeks just to get my nails done. EVERY employee is AMAZING. They are the most thorough, genuine, and professional manicurists. I have never been rushed even on the most busy of days. The pedicures are the best in town as well. Not one bad thing to say about the place. I've gotten my eyebrow waxings here as well. Honestly I have no idea why others wrote such bad reviews. I went in on Monday 05/02 for a full set ($20) and pedicure ($21). The owner Hai did my full set and they are BEAUTIFUL as always. He was careful with his application, took his time to shape, and made sure my polish was smooth and not streaky. I will admit I have had issues with the ladies who apply acrylics, but Hai is consistently SPOT ON. This is my go-to spot. Save yourself the headache and doubt, and just call ahead to make an appt with the owner. (See my photo, pink coffin shaped nails). I also got a pedi, and you seriously can't beat $21 for a spa pedicure. Hot water relaxed my feet and got the cuticles nice and soft. The gentleman who did my pedicure was gentle yet not too gentle where any cuticles or dry skin remained. The foot and leg massage with massage lotion was TO DIE FOR, and the paraffin wax "mask" left me so smooth. The addition of hot towels was great too. She rushed my whole pedicure my feet were out of the water within 7mins. I was so mad she realized I was mad and kept asking if I was ok . After that I was so ready to leave but she started taking her time I stayed and let her finish. Never again will I be coming back to this place! I went in to have my POWDER nails removed and wanted a manicure. The man working on my nails started to cut them with A NAIL CLIPPER. I thought, okay he knows what he's doing, he's the professional here. Wrong! Not only did be cut my real nails short, he then began to slide a fake nail in between my real nail and the powder, and ripped the powder off. I immediately asked him if that was safe for my nail bed and his response was "yea it's faster". I told him people usually grind it off and use acetone. He just looked at me and smiled. It was almost 7pm and I couldn't go anywhere else because I desperately needed those nails off, so I let him finish. After, he began to grind my real nail and then had me go wash my hands. I came back thinking he was gna start cleaning my cuticles for my manicure but he just started paining my nails. He seemed very distracted and kept talking into his headpiece. I then noticed he was watching chickens fight! So illegal!!! It was a live fight because it looked like it was a FaceTime call and he was talking to someone on the other line. I immediately pulled my hands away from him and he looked at me puzzled. I asked him to put the phone away and that I didn't want to see that. He laughed and said" oh you don't like chickens?" I told him, I like chickens, but I prefer not see them forced to fight to their death. He didn't say anything after that. He finished painting my nails and that was it. No cuticle cleaning, no lotion on my hands. Nothing! I asked him what a manicure included and he said I didn't get a manicure, I got a 'color change'. That made no sense. I paid $16 just to have my nails ripped off, and a swipe of regular polish painted over. I could've easily done that if I wanted to but I chose to go to a professional instead to have it done safely. I guess I chose the wrong place. I definitely learned my lesson. This place is a joke! read more

Got here right at opening with a group of 3, i had them get started first and id wait until my turn. Didnt think id be waiting an hour! As more people kept coming in and a few got sat immediately, understanding that probably a few had appointments so i patiently waited, until people who showed up much later then me whom did not have an appointment got sat. I was about to say screw it and not even want to give them my money but then my friend got done and i finally got started. Guy i got drilled to hard and made a finger bleed but gave me a nice nail shape, another lady painted my nails and was nice and apologized for the wait, shes the only one that acknowledged that i waited forever, and did a good paint job. I ended up hating the colors i chose but thats on me not them.
