There were 4 technicians and 5 customers when I walked in, so my greeting was understandably from someone in the back. I informed them I had an appointment and received no acknowledgment so stood awkwardly since there was no waiting area. Someone came up to the tablet which made me assume they were getting my appointment up but she wound up checking someone out. I was still standing there until finally I was directed to a spa chair, which had just been used and I noticed was not cleaned - rather a bag was used in place of the cleaning. Now I'm used to nail salons using bags but every other one I've been to has ALSO cleaned the spa tubs as well. I sat for a few minutes, someone brought a menu but I knew what I wanted so that was a useless time killer. I have sensitive feet and sometimes the callus portion is uncomfortable. Their prices are a little on the pricey side or maybe average as you don't get a discount for mani pedi combo, and the don't give you a discount if you don't get nail polish which I think they should do. We only get regular manicure and pedicures, but I know they do gel and powder dips as well and I saw them doing some sort of nail tips with the technique. Place is older & felt a little dated in comparison to the other places I've used. I came for S&S Dip Powder nail work. To save time , I was prepped by another tech that did a good enough job. S&S powder work: cleaned the old work well but she did not cut my nails but filed them down, which I found odd. Powder dip was only done in two coats and the work was not even to the quality I am accustomed (see photos). I've been getting S&S work since 2021 & have a great comprehension of how the nail routine goes & this missed a few refining steps. Work is uneven & the shapes of surface of my nails have ripples & even bubbles in some areas. Recommendations: men should have the same quality work just as the women do. Refine the work especially at the finish. Please do not assume that men don't care about "quality," since we are still paying the same price. Clean the entire hand (check both hands - top & bottom) of powder & the tips of my nails should not feel rough & scratchy. If your customer is new, clarify the work they want done & not just color we want. "Nail So Good," is your brand name & unfortunately I left there not feeling so good.
