Went for 50¢ wing night. We asked what time the kitchen closes before even placing our order, in which they told us at 11. We ordered the wings at around 10:15. We waited and waited for our wings until they told us we have not received our wings because we did not pay yet-- so we gladly paid for the wings and were sorry for the inconvenience. The waiter then came over at 11:01 to tell us that they cannot serve us our wings because another table took them. They said that because the other table took them, they can't make them anymore since their kitchen is closed. Absolutely HORRIBLE service. I have been here three times and each time there is something wrong with the order. Done giving this places any more chances. Do better. read more

Food was average. Nothing to rave about . Food had to be ordered at the bar and when your order was ready, they called you to get it from the bar to bring to your table. The water had a funny taste to it which was served in a plastic cup. The place is run down and feels dirty. People were out back on what I think was a patio, smoking Marijuana. I wanted to like Millers, it's a bar in the basement. They have a nice draft beer selection, some obscure beers. Then came the dilemma, the patrons. This is one of those bars where they skip your songs on the juke box so the regulars can play the same Def Leppard and AC/DC songs over and over again. The other issue was the service. It took us 10 minutes to get service initially and another battle to get a second beer. The other funny thing was that the male bartender told us that the kitchen wasn't serving food and then 10 minutes later he comes out of the kitchen with a plate of French fries. Brought here by some locals who like to have fun and save a little money. My kind of place. Pretty decent pool tables (for a sometimes crowded bar) with decent cues. Good ol 4 quarters gets you a game. Bartender served a decently strong rum drink and the beers on tap were good including some local ones. Shots were available and they have some sort of local shot (not sure ingredients but tasted sweet n sour ish). All reasonably priced. Pizza night with some decent sized pizza for $12 and not bad tasting. Bikers mostly outside with some very cool motorcycles to look at. Now I know why my friends like this place. read more

Went to Miller's Crossing on a Wednesday, about 7:30 pm. The place had a bunch of people in it, but there was still room for my group to sit at a table. There were a lot of offerings from which to choose on the menu, but not a lot of choices if you're vegetarian, and you don't eat a lot of fried food. I had a grilled cheese, it was pretty good. As far as service, you order at the bar! Paper menus were on the table. The wings smelled awesome. I wish there had been a no meat plant based option, I would have ordered that! This is the king of dive bars IMO. I remember my friends and I frequenting this establishment before we were all 21, not sure how or why but remember we did. Maybe they let you come in to hang out and maybe they made the 21 and up crowd wear a bracelet. Either way - we all have good memories here. They have a pool table and a bunch of tv's & then they have their unique dive bar decor. They also have a jukebox (where you can skip songs). They have a good selection of beer (bottled and on tap) and whatever mixed drink you order comes out quick and is strong and priced perfectly! The cheap and strong drinks are probably the best part about coming to Miller's. I ordered the nachos which were quite good! I'm not a huge drinker but I would DEFINITELY return! read more

After waiting for 2 hours for my wings order I cancelled it after being told to keep waiting without any kind of customer service provided. Absolutely no empathy to my plight. I suspect my order ended up at another table but Millers did not even check into my order even after a 2 hours lateness. I understand there was a rush but I saw every single person who ordered after me get their wings. I saw new customers enter the establishment order and get their wings before me. The waiter keeps telling me, "it's coming in a few minutes," every 30 minutes I get told this. The table next to me saw me without food and offered me wings they claimed, "Here we never ordered these so we don't know what flavor it is." I am not alone in this displeasure. 2 other members of my party suffered the same embarrassing faith. They cancelled also. My blood sugar cannot handle further delays. read more

Enter 2015. We enter almost every Monday for trivia with a crew of 5-10 deep, greeted like a cooky cousin of the family from every bartender, bouncer, and Mr. Miller himself. That's exactly what this bar provides - a laid back, tucked-away spot to spend amongst perfect strangers and new friends of all ages. The Locational Lowdown: Miller's is in the lower level of a viking event hall, sporting the charm of your beer-enthusiast grandfather's basement man-cave. You've got your pool tables, dart boards, jukebox, numerous raised tables, 2 large booths (for the rowdy trivia crews), a center isle with more seating, Golden Tee, and my personal source of a future heart attack - Big Buck Hunter. Step outside and pop a seat at the brand new outside bar - raised on the top level and complete with TVs & taps. The Brewski Breakdown: If myself and the tap selection were in a race to maturity, the victor thus far is undoubtably the tap selection. This is a pretty cool and laidback bar. They always have something on special. Literally every day. Taco Tuesday, wings on Wednesday. One of the days they have a $5 burger and fries. I can't get enough of this bar. Going on my 3rd year living in the area and Millers is hands down our favorite local watering hole. Staff is always superb, we never wait to be served and they go above and beyond every time. One of the best things about this bar is the crowd is always a nice mix. It never seems to be too loud or too quiet. They have dart boards, pool tables and a few video games. There is always something to do. Lively little basement dive off the deserted part of Old Bald Hill Rd, behind Walgreens and CVS. Not in a place where you're going to run across it by accident. All of the fun is right behind the flat black windowless door that serves as the entrance. 40+ taps, 3 Pool tables, 2 dart boards, '14 Golden Tee and Buck Hunter. I've been to Millers Crossing a few times for a special barbecue event that the bar hosts for charity every fall and am consistently impressed with both the bar itself and the food that the contestants in the event turn out. It is a ribs event, so there's different chefs smoking ribs all day and then everyone gets to try a little from each contestant. The event itself is a blast and the bar inside makes it even better. The bartenders are always friendly and quick. I really like the beer selection that they have here as well. I look forward to coming to Millers Crossing every fall. read more

Used to come here from time to time for post work drinks. It's your archetypical neighborhood bar type of ambiance. Bar staff is friendly and helpful. Beer list on tap is impressive too- something I've come to expect from the Tapped Restaurant Group (Dohertys et al). There's darts and some other bar games. Stopped by Miller's Crossing last weekend to watch the Steeler's game. It's a decent basement bar, underneath the Vasa Music Hall which I can only assume is a Portuguese dance club. The place is spacious, brightly lit, with relatively cheap beer and a small amount of food offerings (pretty much wings, fries, etc). It reminds me a bit of the German Club in Pawtucket, but not yet overrun with hipsters. I believe they had pool tables here, but honestly I was so focused on the game I didn't really notice. read more

This is your local whole-in-the-wall, dive bar that you don't mind telling people you go to without being too embarrassed. It is found in the basement of the Vasa Hall. It's small, but has a good size bar, high top tables with bar stools, pool tables, darts, televisions, and outdoor patio area for when it's nice out. I have seen the crowd range from 21 year olds to 70 year olds. It all depends on what night and time you go at. The selection of beer is quite large for such a small venue, and cheap! So after you have a few too many, you can also order some greasy pub food. read more

The bar manager "Spaziano" is an aggressive, overbearing person. I made eye contact with him to order a pitcher of beer, and he came out from behind the bar to get in my face and ask why I am "eye balling him" whatever that means. Ive made eye contact with every bartender I've ever ordered a drink from and have never been asked why I was eye-balling them. It's their job! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. That guy is crazy. He came out of his car while we were on the back deck smelling of marijuana with a cloud of smoke behind him 30 minutes before the confrontation. We were there celebrating the life of a man who passed last week who loved this bar. We will never return. read more

Great service at the bar with very reasonable pricing. The parking situation is very easy too. Big parking lot and there's always parking on the street. Great bar! Bar far one of my favorites, there's 40 bears on tap, and yes they do sell food, they have some pool tables and a descent sized area, usually on weekends it's 20-30 year olds guys and lady's, the week is spotty. As of all it is kept clean, also one of the bars that never has any issues or fights. There is plenty of parking also and it's right off the main road. I will definitely visit again, also it's one of the cheaper places in Rhode Island for beer which is also a plus! read more

great beer selection. impressive food menu for a bar. bartender was cheerful and helpful. very good bowl of chili. salad selection is anemic just one Caesar ant it is a bit small for just a bowl of romaine lettuce with caesar dressing. for me i would to like a larger portion or maybe a mixed green option. but it is just a bar after all. good vibe. i am told that the wings are good. so we will return. NOTE here i am diabetic and so no starch for me, bread-pasta-rice-potato and most BBQ sauces are full of sugar. read more

I almost don't want to write a review because I don't want to share. Recently moved to the area and needed one of those friendly, well-priced places that has a good drink selection. This is it. I love the beer selection, staff is always friendly and helpful and I'm a big fan of Big Buck Hunter (and Golden Tee, pool, and darts). They also do pitchers of nearly every beer. I met the owner once and he easily could have been a regular customer. Very friendly guy who was appreciative of our business. Place has tons of TVs to watch whatever games, nice spread for variety of seats, and a solid juke box. I've never had food, so I can't speak to that, but this is a solid place to grab a drink.
