The bison burgers were delicious, and the tots were some of the best I've ever had. Service is absolutely horrible. We were very accommodating the first few times, but we have been forgotten several times we have come here. Today appears to be the same. It has been an hour for BURGERS! We are a party of 4. The orders are rarely correct. You guys have amazing food but the service and wait times are enough to make us not come back. It's really disheartening as we try to promote small businesses. We went to check on it at 45 min and were told by the young lady down there that it was "on the grill". The only thing that was on the grill was onions. We are now at an hour and our food wasn't even on the grill when we went to check on it. We just got an "I'm sorry." When they finally did bring the food out one of our parties food wasn't there and had to be cooked , the sweet potato fries had been recooked, the shake was frothy chocolate milk (been out a while). Seriously, guys - you have to work on this process if you are going to survive in this business. We have spent a lot of money here over the last few months - but this type of service seems to be common place here. Really sad and disappointed. read more

Cool bar and grill/deli. You can order food and Ice cream on one side and then go hangout on the bar side. I just Happen to take my kids there with me and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food is a little pricey but I got three great shakes to spoil my kids. It's in the northern side of town and next to a curio. You can hit the place up for good eats before or after a workout and I am sure the beer is good as well. It looked like they have bands there as well but I did not experience that. Cute. You'll find this cute little space behind whitewashed walls and attached to the Holiday Bar. It serves food in both the bar and its own space. It also contains tables beneath a veranda outside. There is no waiter service. You order and pay at the counter. Mill Street serves some very nice grilled sandwiches (cheese steak), angus burgers, fried tasty things (fries, poppers, etc.), hot wings, and Breyer's ice cream. I had the cheese steak and fries. The cheese steak is nicely grilled and served on a white bread roll. Condiments are found at the tables, so if you want the order to go, make sure you slather on the ketchup and such before leaving. The fries were of the old-style matchstick variety, and quite good. Nice flavor. I did not see the meatball sandwich previously discussed. Wish I had because I like those very much. Tasty food. You can't go wrong, and the price is reasonable. The space is set atop two large steps, so it is not wheelchair accessible. Morrison city council, you have to do something about this along the street. This is unconscionable in this day and age. read more

We went here for lunch and to get out of the house this past Saturday. I ordered the buffalo burger and had to pay an extra $3.00. It wasn't worth it as the burger was as greasy as the beef burger and had the beef burger taste from being on the same hot plate. Therefore, I would recommend not wasting the extra money. The tater tots were crispy and very good. You can do outdoor dining by a running creek and it is shaded by an overhang. We will probably be back, but I won't waste the extra money on the buffalo the next time we are in town. read more

It was an okay sandwich, but the water from the chiles made the bread so soggy it was almost inedible. The woman taking the orders was rude, and I didn't see the cook wash his hands once while I was there, despite him handling my chicken, my friend's bacon, bread, etc. without gloves. Disgusting is to good for this place! We came to town to see a show at RedRocks this past Friday. We had our son with us so I just ran in to get a carry out. When I went in and went to the bar to order I was ignored. Finally another customer told me where to order the food. So I went around to the other side to get food. I ordered a ham sub, and a hotdog and fries, the guy that took my order seemed annoyed, I waited for my food and when I got back to the car opened the ham sub that I planned on sharing with my 2 y/o son, to find the bread covered in mold. Black mold spots all over it. Needless to say our entire order ended up in the trash. I didn't even bother to go back in as the atmosphere of the whole place was uncomfortable and I felt complaining wouldn't get me anywhere anyway. I ordered a "look out mountain" burger, what did I get you ask. Well I got a premise meat patty two pieces of bacon a slice of cheese on a store bought bun smothered in BBQ sauce. That's it! Luckily, my dad didn't want his so we are his. The guy at the register was extremely rude. My husband went and asked for him to cut our burger, and the guy was so irritated, my husband thought he was going to throw the burger at him! There was NO ONE there, just us. I just expect a bit more food when you're paying $8 for a burger and $3 for a side. I probably wouldn't even being writing this if it was a 1/2 lb patty vs 1/4 lb. Stopped by this historic restaurant/bar while in Morrison for a concert, and was met by great music, and even better employees. Two handsome fellas by the names of JD and Adam helped me pick out some food, and we're even nice enough to show me the fastest way to the Red Rocks parking lot. Fast food style burgers with a long wait time. The buffalo is no different from the beef. They're both thin, burnt patties with no real "burger" flavor. No seating inside and limited seating outside which was totally full when we got there. You can get the same food at any local fast food burger joint for half the cost.
