Hidden GEM! Me and my boyfriend stumbled across this spot and what a find it was! three stories inside, outside and rooftop seating areas. Plenty to do here, karaoke some nights, pool tables and live music. They have a small menu but oh is it mighty. You order at the counter, and someone brings it to the table. The onion rings, burgers, and fries were delicious and came our pretty fast! I ended up having like half a burger to take home. I also noticed there was free popcorn. Nice touch. OMG, don't walk ... run away. Do not order any food. So disappointing. We ordered jalapeños burger with fries and it was $25.33 for ONE single burger with fries! Expensive crappy food. It was inedible. The fries were overcooked and cold. The burger was overcooked. The fresh sliced jalapeños on the burger were the size of lime wedges. Nobody wants to eat a lime wedge sized jalapeño on a burger! Ugh. I'm leaving hungry. I've never said this before but we should have stopped for a fast food burger. This little deli like restaurant is the bomb! Downtown Morrison with a patio over looking a running stream. Great service! The setup at Mill Street Eats is confusing. From the street, the building looks like it houses a sit-down restaurant and bar, but when you walk in you are greeted with a fast-food counter where you order. No real seating unless you sit outside along the creek or in one of the multiple seating areas in the Morrison Holiday Bar. It appears this little kitchen has partnered with the Morrison Holiday Bar. It's connected to it via a doorway. Maybe Mill Street Eats was originally the kitchen for the bar and then split off to be its own business? I don't know. But if you are planning to sit at the bar and eat, plan on walking over to the fast-food counter at Mill Street Eats first to place your order before you sit down. Then take your order number on a chrome stand to your table. That is how the food runner will find you. The food is okay. It's more fast food than bar food, that's a compliment. And their fries were outstanding. I can't put my finger on it but there was something about them that I wished I could have ordered them by the bucket. When you get your food it's in a plastic basket and if you need ketchup for your fries, it comes in tear-open packets. Being connected to Morrison Holiday Bar, you've got lots of different places to sit and eat. There are outside tables along the creek, there is a long bar room with a music stage at the back. There's another room off of the music stage with two pool tables and some tables and chairs. Behind the music stage is a stairway to two elevated decks. At the beginning of those stairs are seats around a firepit. The first of the two elevated decks has some tables, chairs, and a comfy-looking couch. The top deck is on the rooftop and has more tables and chairs. If you sit in the Morrison Holiday Bar and want something to drink, it goes on their register. You can't order alcoholic drinks as part of your food order. I'm not sure, but I also believe there are no servers in the bar so you have to go to the bartender if you want drinks. Or maybe they just don't have servers at lunch, but might when there is a full bar with music playing. I don't know. read more

My sister and I strolled up and down the street after visiting Red Rock and out of all the choices for food we liked THIS PLACE the best. This is an OLD BAR. The food was good, the beer was cold, and the staff was nice. It was relaxing. The one unfortunate thing was the kitchen griddle was so tiny they could only make food in small quantities, so the wait was a bit long. But I love old bars. and yes it is dog-friendly. read more

I've been coming here since moving to Denver almost 6 years ago. First off you must know that they are a conjoined twins with the bar next door. Either doors will take you to either business. They share. It's burgers, hotdogs, fries and ice cream. For this I scream for ice cream! It's a cozy spot with 2 two tops of high bar tables. Customers don't linger for a long time. The burgers are good and made to order. Fries are salty and crunchy. There is no Table service. You order, they give you a number, you turn around and you're starting at your table. It's that cozy. Do not eat here. There is better mediocore food in that area. Over priced and small portions made by some kids. I ordered the turkey and bacon sandwich to go and they forgot to add the turkey. I was so impressed with the burger I had last month that I decided to come back for a quick dinner and beer ....The Holiday is attached and I bellied up. The bartender told me to order next door, so I went through the doorway and waited...and waited while the worker watched the baeball game and scarfed down fries...Not knowing if he was working, or if the other girl serving ice cream was running the show....I waited until he finally asked if I wanted to order. He wiped his hands off in a hygienic manner and took my order, gave me a numbered order marker, and I was off to the bar again. The music was good. Thanks to some local Denver friends for revealing one of their favorite hidden burger gems: Mill Street. It's the perfect place to stop in Morrison before a show at Red Rocks. By "perfect", it's great if you're a meat and potatoes kind of person. If you're vegan or vegetarian, keep on driving. There's about 5-6 different burger and fry options, I always go with a classic cheeseburger and a side of tots. Order at the deli counter and, assuming you're 21+, take a number next door to the bar and wait for your food to be delivered to your seat. I usually get a drink to go with my food, but there's water cups and a cooler if you're keeping things PG. The bar attached to Mill Street isn't fancy. Quite the contrary. It's a bit of a biker bar, but that just adds to the whole experience. It's not a dangerous place by any means, either. More of a honest to goodness bar. Like the kind you see in the movies with the sign "Bar" outside in neon lights. In true Colorado fashion, everyone working there is super friendly. And the burgers? SO GOOD! There's fancier eateries on that main corridor in Morrison, but I pick Mill Street every time. read more

What a great food place. Came from Texas visiting for our baby moon. For lunch we were feeling like a burger and fries and bam, bonus! They served shakes too! And Blue Bell which was a nice surprise. We ordered two regular cheese burgers with one set of fries (they don't come with the burger but it was plenty to share between two people) and a chocolate shake. It came up to $26 bucks and some change. Pricey, but our burgers were made right away and the fries fried fresh. The bread was perfect, the burger juicy but not gross, vegetables were fresh and the fries perfect. And my shake was so so good. The place was clean just old looking. We sat in the restaurant part and not the bar area where the bathroom was. That area looked just like an old, dark bar so I'm glad we sat in the kitchen area lol Do give this place a try! All servers went around and asked how everyone's service was, except us! Totally passed us and did not give us a second look. They did not provide us with a table number, ended up mixing our order, (honest mistake) with another table, but that was the cashier's fault for not giving us a number to begin with.
