This place was gooood! The person who took our order was fast and friendly giving us suggestions on the fry size! We order a 10 piece hot buffalo wings and a single order of non family size fries and it came with 2 sides of ranch and some carrots. The chicken and fries were crispy and hot. So delicious! Just came here after many times of coming for their lunch special. Decided to take it to go as we had a rough last 24 hours losing our pet bird of 30 years. Yes, 30 years. And had our dogs in the SUV trunk, in their crate; we were gonna eat on the go. However, the business was dead so we decided let's sit outside and enjoy some sunshine instead of sulking in the car in nothingness while eating wings. This woman who had brown hair with blonde highlights, piercing blue eyes and a bit heavy set said "next time say you're dining here so we don't waste boxes" - she couldn't even look me in the eyes while saying this and threw my bag at me. Solid wing joint. I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever had but they were pretty good and he service was great. The location is pretty awesome as well. Ok....the wings are great! I have eaten there for many years and we make this our dinner "go-to" stop after skiing. The bad: the customer service is pathetic and always has been. They make us feel like a stranger every time we walk in....they are just lucky the wings are good. No "hello" or any pleasantry. My boys and I always joke about it before we walk in. We say, "who wants to make a bet WE have to greet them first?" The last time I ordered food an hour before the lobby closed and the lady said "TO GO, RIGHT" hoping I would order and leave. It's sloppy/messy wings...I am not eating in the car! I said I was eating-in and she appeared upset and told me to make it quick as the lobby was closing in AN HOUR. She then reminded me that I only get one free refill with the drink...thanks again! I understand bad customer service from snotty little highschoolers...but this lady is maybe the owner....and it is every time!!! If it is not her, it this skinny older guy that learned his service skills from her! The first time we went there, I showed my boys the Soup-Nazi episode on Seinfeld and they thought it was spot on. The bad part is we will be back there next week after skiing because the wings are so good. Oh, DO NOT ASK FOR CELERY...that might make national news! We had some friends in town and one of them wanted to have Rocky Mountain Oysters, so, we found ourselves here. There was no indoor seating, and just a handful of tables outside, which we were lucky enough to snag one of. We ordered two lunch specials of hot wings and honey BBQ wings, cheese sticks, Rocky Mountain Oysters, and fried pickles. I'd recommend if you're getting cheese sticks, eat them first unless you like them firmer, because they come out hot and melty. The wings were good. They have a few flavors like honey BBQ, mild, med, hot, x hot, xxhot and teriyaki. I'll say that the hot wings were not that hot. I'd put them at a medium, so if I go back I'd get either x or xx hot. To make the flavor a little more interesting, I dipped my hot wings in the honey BBQ sauce, and that made up for it. So we had rocky mountain oysters. If you don't know what they are, then you can look it up. It was my first time having them, and they were... pretty decent! They were very unoffensive, and had a consistency reminiscent of conch, but tenderer. I'm not sure what is customary for eating them, but I dipped mine in cocktail sauce because they're "oysters"? I'd have them again. I can't say they are my favorite thing to eat, but I've never had the opportunity before (nor had I sought it out). Willy's is a great place to get some wings. It's right across the street from Bear Creek, so you can eat by the riverside if you wanted, and the views from the patio are good. I no longer feel like calling in to place an order is met with hostility...even though they SAY to call in your order early. :-) Wings are always great. i *highly* recommend preheating your over and dropping them in for another 5 minutes to crisp em up a bit. Arguably the best wings west of the Mississippi and even more so, arguably some of the best wings I've ever had. And I know all the best spots back home in Western NY. Me and my buddies had just gotten done white water rafting and our guide recommended the place to us. There was a hour wait but the label of "Best Wings in Denver" had my attention and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint one bit. During our wait, we stopped over at Farmhouse and grabbed a few beers and their owners were tremendous people. Sat out with us, suggested some area brews and we just talked about life. Our order of wings arrived roughly 45 mins later and the gracious owners of Farmhouse let us eat at their place. As i tasted the wings, i knew that we'd came to the right spot. As i got through my 4th wing, Willie's had crept into my all time Top 5 and trust me, it's not 5th. I'm a southerner from Mississippi. Trust me, I know food. I served an LDS mission in Colorado and tried Willy's Wings for the first time a few years ago during that time. Since then, Willy's has become a road trip staple when traveling through Colorado. My husband and I are moving to CO springs next week and we will be making frequent visits to Willy's. This last visit was no different, the Wings were delicious, the prices are good, the service was very good and the waitress was helpful, and the location is perfect being right next to Red Rocks park. Upon walking in to the restaurant I was greeted with nothing but a frown and rude attitude from the cashier. Not only did she not let us know that the meal that I paid for FULL PRICE was a lunch special for $10 cheaper, but she also made sure to let us know their "99" other rules. No outside water, only 1 REFILL on their drinks they charge almost $5 for , no moving tables after sitting, etc. felt like I was in school again and couldn't even relax after almost paying $30 for a 10 wing meal. This pandemic has created a take out monster. My wife and I were on another quest to find some good wings. We decided to branch out a little and head towards Morrison. One of the best decisions we have made so far. Willy's wings is a stand out in my wing list. We ended up ordering 50 wings consisting of Honey BBQ and Buffalo. As well as a side of fries. Onto the food! The wings were absolutely amazing. Crispy, juicy and meaty. The buffalo had the right amount of spice and was generous in the amount. This was the same for the Honey BBQ. Astonishingly, this didn't overpower the overall wing taste as some sauces do. There was distinct taste of sauce and meat, both of which combined well with each other. The fries were an absolute delight. Crispy and fresh. It took about 20 minutes to get home and they were not soggy at all! Overall, Willy's Wings was an amazing recommendation. They have an amazing Tuesday special and I plan on coming back to try more flavors! read more

They're delicious. If you're the guy who gets the hottest wings at every place and you're usually underwhelmed with the heat.... Yea you might want to be careful here. I got the XX Hot and dude.... they're hot! Maybe try the regular hot. Usually my wife can keep up with me, she didn't try these after tasting the sauce. SPICY.
