Wings to go that we are apparently wasting "boxes" on ?
Andrea M.

Just came here after many times of coming for their lunch special. Decided to take it to go as we had a rough last 24 hours losing our pet bird of 30 years. Yes, 30 years. And had our dogs in the SUV trunk, in their crate; we were gonna eat on the go. However, the business was dead so we decided let's sit outside and enjoy some sunshine instead of sulking in the car in nothingness while eating wings. This woman who had brown hair with blonde highlights, piercing blue eyes and a bit heavy set said "next time say you're dining here so we don't waste boxes" - she couldn't even look me in the eyes while saying this and threw my bag at me. Very weird behavior when I tipped 24% on a $24.89 order. Picture below of how our food came VS when you dine in.. more waste when you dine inVS eating out so not sure what the problem is. I don't appreciate the way she spoke to us as if we weren't allowed to be at this establishment. I also witnessed her treating other customers after Brian/Bryan left like absolute garbage, too. This woman is going to hurt your business treating folks the way she does. Think before you speak - it means a lot. We just got done going through so much and wanted Willy's Wings for our first meal in a day. Absolutely ridiculous how we were treated like a nuisance As much as I love Willy's Wings, I will not be back and that saddens me. Due to this experience. I will be spreading the word as well. Literally the common sense thing we all learn in elementary - THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK! I guess just don't tip if you're ordering to go, you're not welcome at their establishment anyways..

These are the best wings in the front range. We've been to dozens of places and wing joint has the crispiest andmeatiest wing around. Their sauce is a perfect classic Buffalo style. Hit the spot up before you go to a Red Rocks show and you'll be thinking me later.

Solid wing joint. I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever had but they were pretty good and he service was great. The location is pretty awesome as well. I'm trying to figure out what they had in their buffalo wing sauce aside from Frank's and butter but all in all, we had a great meal and the leftovers got eaten so I'd definitely go back.

Great wings!!! Big and meaty, very crispy, very good flavor!!! Love that they have corn nuggets! Love that they have funnel cakes! These all were awesome. Ambiance is small town vibe with patio. Quick, friendly service. Will be returning as I am in the area often!

Best wings of all time. So delicious, and the place itself is just flat out radical. Service is peak, and the Diet Coke is really good.

Close to Lookout Mountain, this is a great stop! Five stars across the board!…read more Food: was fantastic - between the 4 of us, we tried the brisket sandwich (tender and delicious with the pickles and picked red onions), pork ribs (meaty, flavorful and tender, my son's favorite), pulled pork on nachos (tasty and fresh). Had to have a Coors Light while in Golden, CO! Sides of Mac and cheese, baked beans, vinegar Cole slaw and potato salad were all freshly made, clean tasting, and added quality to each meal! Service: attentive and hospitable. You order at the counter and they bring out the trays from the kitchen. Every member was knowledgeable in explaining the multiple sauces and went out of the way to attend to every question or request. Love the casual vibes, from picking up your own utensils to cleaning up your own trays. Excellent service. And they were appreciative of our patronage. Ambiance: clean restaurant all around, cool casual vibes with a great outdoor patio side facing the sun and mountains. Well worth the stop, best bbq in Golden CO, indeed! 5

Stairmaster to Heaven (The BBQ Kind) They say distance makes…read morethe heart grow fonder, but in this case, a 30-minute drive and a second-story climb mostly just made us hungry. We were strongly motivated by a lunch date with our daughter and her husband, and apparently, the 'Seasoned Swine' experience starts with a mandatory pre-meal cardio session. If you aren't ready to hit the stairs, you aren't ready for the Swine. The Atmosphere (2 Stars): It's a bit like a sports bar that forgot to buy the TVs. Plenty of high-top tables to perched upon, and a bathroom door that refuses to close--perfect for those who enjoy a 'communal' dining experience in every sense of the word. The Service (3 Stars): Standard 'pay-to-play' setup. You order at the register, pay upfront, and hope for the best. Functional, but don't expect a candlelit serenade. The Food (5 Stars): This is where the magic happens. Three of us tackled the 'Swinoceros' plate--a meat-sweat-inducing mountain of the menu's highlights--while our fourth went for the pulled pork 'sammie.' The Candied Ribs: Out of this world. I'm pretty sure these are illegal in several states. Absolute perfection. The Burnt Ends: Moist, flavorful, and worth the drive alone. The Supporting Cast: The pulled pork, sliced turkey, brisket, and jalapeño cheddar sausage were all good. Even the sides--the OC Mac and Cheese and baked beans--were terrific. The Rolls: The three sweet rolls were... well, they were rolls. They were there. The Verdict: If you can survive the stairs, the awkward bathroom situation, and the DIY service, the food is a total knockout. I came for the family, but I'd stay for those candied ribs.

I used to live in Texas and those baked beans were to die for along with the BBQ which was a mix of sweet and spicy. My boyfriend got the chicken which was so tender and rich in flavor too! He also got the potato salad which was fantastic. We also shared the loaded fries! Which were great. That toast was SO GOOD- crispy, buttery, melt in your mouth good. The Mac n cheese I would say was our least favorite, it was good, but I would definitely go for the beans or potato salad for the sides. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and we may have found our new place. ALSO, so cute you can play cornhole or connect for while waiting :) People: very friendly and nice.

I am giving 2 stars because the gentleman assisting was very friendly. When I asked for a recommendation for a side, he hesitated and didn't sound too sure of his answer.

Then I tried the classic pork soup dumplings with ginger and green onion, followed by the yuzu chicken dumplings. Every dish had its own standout flavor. Mason's Dumpling shop was recommended by a friend to check out in the Lakewood area, so we went to…read morepay this place a visit on a Sunday around 1PM. The restaurant had plenty of seats so we were able to get a table quickly. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking options. When we went, you would park on the other side of the restaurant and then walk around to get to the actual entrance facing the street. Ordering is down through a paper menu in which you check off what you would like and then hand to the service worker. Service was fast and attentive, and the restaurant feels like a quick casual dine in type of vibe. We ordered a decent amount of dumplings to try, which I'll review down below: Dumplings ($13 - $14): We got two different types of dumplings, the Yuzu chicken soup dumplings and the pan fried fish and cabbage dumplings. Flavor-wise, they are both pretty pleasant! One critique for the soup dumplings is that they are super fragile, and the dumpling skin rips really easily as they were sticking even when they came out, so you may unfortunately lose a good amount of soup try to enjoy them. As for the fillings, they are pretty uniform in texture and have a pleasant mouth feel to eat. You can definitely taste the yuzu in the yuzu dumplings and the flavor in both dumplings are fragrant. Stewed Pork Belly Noodle ($14): A pretty solid bowl of noodles! There is a generous amount of pork that we were able to split between multiple people. I like that there is a decent amount of bok choy and radish in the dish to contrast with the flavorful and really tender pork belly. I think that if I were to order only this dish, it would fill me up to a comfortable level of fullness. The soup has a subtle porky flavor and the noodles have a decent amount of chewiness. Wood Ear Mushroom Salad ($6.50): I am a fan - we ordered this to help contrast with the dumplings and serve as a palate cleanser in addition to being an appetizer. There is a nice acidity in the dressing and the wood ears are crunchy and aren't too rubbery. It does say spicy on the menu, but it's more of a very mild spice. In the end, I think that Mason's Dumpling Shop is a pretty solid dumpling restaurant in Lakewood, and we spent about $25 per person for every thing here. Which I think is a good price for the variety. I would definitely revisit and try the other options they have here if I'm ever back in Lakewood!
