We go to Bruno's regularly and absolutely love it. Bruno's is a great for a date night or the whole fam! The food is delish, service is speedy, and everyone is so nice. Taylor always takes extra time to make sure we are happy and have everything we need. 10/10! read more

Bruno's is a place my family frequent usually 2-3 time a month and i've personally made it a mission to eat very item on the menu. I'm close, all that remains is the burgers. My favorite is the Cenyer Cut Pork Chops. Not once have I been disappointed, the service is quick and everyone has always been kind. This restaurant is a great place for family to chat over food or watch a game at the bar on the TV's. read more

WOW! Just.. WOW! Okay, I know you need a little more to go on than just that. My wife and I happened upon this place after driving around looking for a restaurant and remembering seeing this place whenever we go to Bowles Cafe. It was a pleasant surprise walking in and seeing a nicer interior than the metal building might suggest. I had anticipated a bar, with hamburgers and ribs and a seat-yourself at picnic tables kind of atmosphere. But we were seated by a hostess and picked a hightop in the main seating area. Looking at the menu, there was a great variety in choices. Comfort food, burgers, ribs and Italian. I opted for the chicken parmesan and my wife took a chance on the ribs. After the first bite we could tell it wasn't going to be bar food. My chicken breast was as big as a large hand with fingers spread. The meal portions are generous. I finished a third of my meal and took the rest to go. My wife's ribs were a half-slab that looked like a full-slab. Now, my wife is picky when it comes to food because she's a great cook and knows the potential food has for tasting good. She started raving about the ribs at the table and continued to sing their praises on our drive home. I've never heard such a reaction from her after visiting a restaurant. After we finished what we wanted and boxed the rest, we ordered the carrot cake. It was bakery fresh and heavenly! My first impression of this place is it has an identiy crisis. From the outside it looks like a beer and rib joint, Inside it feels like a welcoming, casual brewery but with a fully stocked bar. It has covered and open outside seating from the front and along the side. (There's a cozy area at the end of that outside seating that I eyed for next time we visit.) And when you start enjoying the food it seems like you've landed in a fine dining establishment. Whatever you are looking for in a restaraunt, other than white table cloths and stuffiness, you'll find it at Bruno's. And if you leave hungry, it's your own darn fault. read more

We have been back to Bruno's and it is okay. The food is good - the green chile is really good - but it's incredibly expensive for what it is. $50 for a cheeseburger, a cup of green chile ($8 for a very small serving) and a French dip. No appetizers, cocktails or dessert. By comparison, Tavern 242 up the hill has huge portions, a better atmosphere and a burger, Buffalo chicken wrap, cocktail and a draft beer was $57. Both restaurants full price - no happy hour discounts. read more

My wife and I stopped by Bruno's Kitchen after a long afternoon of last-minute Christmas shopping, and we were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we walked in, the experience was welcoming. The restaurant was clean, well kept, and had a comfortable vibe--kind of a sports bar feel, but toned down enough to still feel like a proper sit-down restaurant. There are plenty of TVs around if you want to catch a game. The hostess seated us right away and was genuinely friendly, especially after learning it was our first time there. We started with espresso martinis, which were surprisingly good--so good, in fact, that we ended up ordering a second round. Definitely a strong start. For an appetizer, we went with the Gravy Fries. Nothing fancy here--just hot, fresh fries covered in brown gravy--but sometimes simple done right really hits the spot, and these absolutely did. For entrées, my wife ordered the crab cakes with a wedge salad (which she loves), and I went with the Green Chili Burger and fries. Both dishes delivered. My wife really enjoyed the flavor of the crab cakes and was happy to see a solid wedge salad option on the menu. My burger was excellent, and the green chili had a legit kick--which I truly appreciate. There's nothing worse than something being advertised as spicy and then falling completely flat, and that was definitely not the case here. Overall, we had a great time and left happy. While it didn't quite cross into "blow-your-mind" territory, everything was done well, the service was friendly, and the food was solid across the board. We'd absolutely go back and would recommend giving Bruno's Kitchen a try if you're in the Southwest Plaza area. read more

The patio has covered seating, There is also umbrella seating if you bring your dog. The service is friendly and they will check on you often. The chairs are uneven at the bottom and accidentally rock. Sorry to say, but the food looks good on the surface, but is dry, cold and expensive. I left over half my green chili burger untouched. It could be so much better. When the cheese on the burger is cold and unmelted, it sets kind of a weird vibe. read more

We really wanted to love this place. The service was good but the food was terrible. If you have a prime rib special it should be spot on, and you should have cooks who know how to properly trim the meat before roasting. 50% of our meat was inedible fat. The server said that some customers like to eat the fat, as did the owner. No. That is not true. The meat was undercooked as well, and my husband's baked potato was not even warm enough to melt the butter after sitting there for half an hour. My salad was tasteless with unseasoned dressing. His side was asparagus that was greasy and overcooked. It's unfortunate as we like to support local business but this was a complete fail for us. They did offer to recook our food, but when you're out for dinner, who has the time for that? read more

Best hidden gem in the Ridge area. We go here regularly now and have enjoyed amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The Italian food, weekend brunch items and the great weekend prime rib dinners are the best in the area. Nice outdoor seating. Great service. Nice touch when the managers or owners walk around and say hi to guests and make sure customers are enjoying everything. read more

Opened about three weeks ago. It's located in a strip mall with tons of parking. We walked in and ordered a burger and a sandwich. My good friend liked his Italian sausage Sandwich and I liked my My mushroom Swiss Burger. Both came with fries. The vibe upon walking in was of a tap room. I was expecting to be met with beer and more beer! They of course have beers on tap. Are you kidding me? This is CO!But this isn't a brewery! The surprise find of the day was the good sized Carrot Cake that we both liked a lot! The icing's not too sweet. The whole carrot cake was a delightful dessert! I did a little research and this is the same owner of 5281 Seafood and Steak not too far away from this location . read more

Service was very prompt, friendly and efficient. Refills were provided automatically. We were checked on several times. French dip was excellent. My daughter had the hamburger which was very good as well. When in the area we would return. read more

My husband and I went for lunch today. We ordered the green chili burger and the prime rib sandwich. They were both delicious. I'm a huge fan of prime rib, but the store of the show was definitely the green chili burger. It was some of the best green chili. I've had here in Colorado. Our server was excellent. Her name was Jen. The restaurant itself is the perfect little family owned and operated joint. In a great area of town. I really enjoyed everything about this place. Can't wait to go back and try the meatloaf. read more

Come to Bruno's Kitchen if you ENJOY GETTING RIPPED OFF! I've ordered the Prime Rib here 3 times. The first 2 times my serving came with a giant (probably 3 in. x 3 in.) hunk of fat. Sorry I don't have a disgusting picture to share. I complained to the manager asking if she would want to have a piece of prime rib presented to her like that, much less eat it. She said "No" apologized and brought me a bit more. But the 2nd time we went they did it again. So I complained, AGAIN! Manager she told me, you have to specify that you don't want it served with big chunks of fat and they'll trim it (which is bull-shit). So this last time, I did just that and here's what they served me: a $28.00 "12oz" prime rib that is the skinniest piece of meat I've ever seen. Again, I should have taken a photo right away; half the steak was even thinner because they cut it on an angle to paper thin on the end. I shared my experience with the ladies sitting next to me and they said they've had similar experiences. They have to send back food often because it isn't cut or prepared right. Lesson learned, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO BRUNO'S KITCHEN AGAIN! read more

We went for breakfast and the food was amazing. Right down to the coffee. It was very smooth and not bitter like several restaurants serve. I had the classic breakfast plus added a pancake. The eggs were cooked to order. The hash browns seemed homemade and had a hint of onion? But no onions in them. Quite tasty. The bacon was very flavorful with just the right amount of crispness. The pancake was delicious. Just the right amount of fluff and not heavy at all. My husband had biscuits and gravy. Also very flavorful. He would've preferred a bit more sausage but he always wants extra sausage on everything! The service was top notch and they were very well staffed. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend Bruno's! read more

Tried Breakfast for the 1st time today. They only serve breakfast on Saturday's and Sunday's from 9:00 am until 12:00. the breakfast was good, there are quite a few choices. Though I didn't have the pancakes I heard they are to die for. I had eggs with bacon extra crispy hash browns side of green green chili which I pour over the eggs... the Green Chile was better than other places I have tried.. If you haven't been to Brunos, the place tends to be a bit loud, due to the open ceilings. Certainly worth giving breakfast a try... plus I have yet to have a bad meal there.. Oh and their Italian Sausage sandwich is to die for... read more

A later breakfast at a busy restaurant, with prompt service to seat. Two orders were given to the wait staff, one for the sausage and scrambled eggs, toast and black coffee. The second order was for French toast. The orders came quickly. However, the French toast was one slice of bread cut in half and appeared to be deep fried and burnt on the cut edges, and was also extremely greasy. I spoke to the wait staff and was told they would do a second serving of the French toast and send it to go. It was burnt as well on both slices on one side completrly. For the costs, I was expecting at least 4 slices of grilled French toast lightly browned. When the tab came, I noticed there was a charge for the rye toast which should have been included in the meal combo price. I have eaten at Brunos many times before with top notch prepared meals. If I return for breakfast meals, I will order differently, and ask if they are charging for the toast. read more

Wait staff was excellent but the food was just average. Ribs were a little dry but the French fries were very good.

Bruno is a good person, hard working. I've known him for a few years now from other spot. Great food at fair prices. Steaks, burgers, a great wedge salad. Smoked old fashioned is a must. Several good craft beers again priced fairly. The service ways top notch , the best . the servers were professional, courteous and prompt. The food we had was ok, not great.could use some improvement. The onion rings were amazing and you get a lot. The French dip was ok , the aje sauce was too salty and to much pepper. the meat was good , but no enough for the price$24.00. My Swiss burger was good and big and half pound big but a little over cooked but not bad .The fries were over cooked. The pork green chili was amazing . all in all not a bad place to eat very nice dining area. certain foods need to improve . if that happens , this establishment will be amazing. and again the service was outstanding. Stopped in for a bite Saturday night. We got there around 5:30 and it was definitely bustling! The host and hostess took our number and we waited and had a beer while doing so. It was a hazy IPA which was great but with the popularity of IPA's they should have another on tap as well. My only issue is they should expand their waiting area out front to include the ability to have a beer while waiting. Our Prime ribs came and were very tasty. Kudos for having BOTH creamy and course Horseradish sauce, too! My girlfriend had the Caesar salad and I had a chopped salad both of which were great. It's great to see the Brunos is being received so well, and we will be back soon!. read more

Our visit was less that two weeks since the restaurant opened. The place is wide open and has a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. We were greeted and seated immediately.
