Came here because after searching this was known to be one of the best burger spots in Lakewood. When I got there I was told the wait would be 45 minutes but I didn't mind because we figured it would be worth it. When we got our burgers the first thing we noticed were that they were HUGE. We were shocked at how big they were. Overall, the burgers were OKAY. I wouldn't say they were the best.

The food was outstanding and tasty. The portions size was insane but I ate the entire thing. Service was great staff were friendly and informative as this was our first visit. The place is a hole in the wall but a must visit if you are in the area and need a amazing burger

We were so bummed out that this didn't live up to the reviews The service was very friendly. We ordered the Big Burger and Sky burger, fries and a chocolate shake and a strawberry shake. We went and sat outside to wait for our food. About ten minutes later our fries are brought out to our table. We thought the rest was coming out also. But ten more minutes go by and they bring our shakes out. Then another ten minutes and our burgers show up. Both burgers looked impressive. When it came to flavor they lacked. There was gristle in the meat and the meat was dry with no flavor. There was no way to eat it and have it not fall completely apart. The chocolate shake was good but the strawberry shake barely tasted like strawberry. We won't be back for burgers but want to come back and try the Asian food.

I can't gush about the food here enough! We had just finished a hike at Mt Falcon, and although the exterior looks a little like an old school A&W, the food more than makes it worth it! Sam, the owner, was super friendly and loved talking about all the work that goes into the restaurant. He told us how they prepped 2,000 goyza a week, soaked their lettuce for an hour, and other little tidbits that really told us how much he loved food. My husband had the bulgogi burger, which was the best thing on the table. The bulgogi had this savory sauce that was the perfect addition to the beef. I had the kimchi burger, which I would have loved had I not tried my husbands (we regularly compete over who picks the best meal- he won!). Our friend got the jalapeño burger and said it was the best burger he ever had. Really, you can't go wrong. The burgers are the size of your face (I had to use a knife and fork because it didn't fit in my mouth) so don't be afraid to share! We also had the sweet potato fries, which were served with ranch and delicious. The goyza were stellar and perfectly cooked- these are NOT the frozen ones you make at home. Highly, highly recommend. So unique, so delicious.

As someone who isn't enthusiastic about burgers, I was confused as to why I had bookmarked Big Sky but then I was reminded that it was a burger place with Korean flavors. This is one of the best burgers I have had in Colorado. You get so much food for your buck but everything is rich in flavors. The bulgogi burger was delicious. The wings were so good especially the bbq sauce. It's sweet but tangy - I don't know how to describe it. So glad there's an Asian burger joint in this state. The place can look a little run down. There's limited seating indoors and some outdoor seating. If you need to use the restroom, go out to the back. Don't judge a place before you try the food. Service is friendly and food comes quick.

Big Sky Burger surprised me in the most positive way! Starting with the burgers, the fresh ingredients are fresh (I know, shocking!) and the portions are appropriate for the asking price. When you factor in unique flavors - such as the bulgogi burger - now you're talking value for money. The service is also great though it's a small team taking care of the orders. I appreciate the associate that takes your order and then drops off your food at the table. And space is small and you might need to wait or sit outside, but this is part of the charm in my opinion. If you're not a fan of burgers, well, then you have the Asian food options that are also quite good! :-)

Come hungry and you'll have a great experience here. The burgers have a 7oz patty which seems so huge in my opinion. I love burgers but couldn't quite finish all that. They have a good selection of burger options on their menu, along with classic burger sides like fries, sweet potato fries, tots, onion rings. Two of us shared 1 order of onion rings and each ordered a burger, and that was plenty! If you done in, they have a plethora of sauces available to use (ketchup, mustard, BBQ, Sriracha mayo, hot sauces). We got the mushroom burgers which were delicious! Just get ready to eat quickly or use fork and knife because the juices from the mushrooms and onions make the burger get soggy pretty quickly while you're eating. You can tell from the outside but there's limited seating inside so may be a better option for pickup ordering, but 2 of us had no problem getting a table on a weeknight. The guy doing orders was super friendly! Definitely enjoyed the experience and would go back again, might try some of the non-burger menu options next time

Bulgogi burger - very tasty except for the cheese

It's a tasty, small, family run burger joint. They have both burgers and fries as well as Korean dishes. They make their bulgogi sauce in house and it shows. Commercial, bottled sauces tend to be overly sweet and thick. Their sauce has better balance and is more savory. I made the mistake of getting the bulgogi burger with cheese. The American cheese slices detracts from the burger. I also made the mistake of eating before taking a pic of the bulgogi bowl, so it originally had more food. We also ordered the beef gyoza (pot stickers). They were solid except we couldn't finish all of the food we ordered and took some home. I don't think the gyoza will be as good the next day, but the bulgogi bowl should be fine. The entrees came out before the side (the gyoza), but this is a fast food burger joint so I don't expect food to be delivered in the perfect order. Instead, they gave us the dishes as soon as they were cooked.

    The "Big" burger!!

How many burger joints do you have to decide what kind of burger to order? This is one!! The " basic" or Big Burger comes out fully 6 inches tall, half pound patty, tomato, onion, mushroom, pickles, lettuce and a perfectly toasted bun, as close to heaven as most people get. The fries are so far past amazing it's not fair to other fries. They offer homemade kimchi which is just freaking killer good. They have very limited seating inside, but seem to do a brisk call in business. Do yourself a great big favor and order something from this place, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Read some amazing reviews and saw some amazing pics. I tried just the Classic cheeseburger and my friend had the jalapeno burger. We also had fries and tots. 2 burgers, fries and tots and 2 soft drinks with tax and tip was 48.00. I really did not love the taste of the burger and while it looked delicious, I felt like the meat was a little too peppery. I would like to go back and try some Korean dishes next time

This place has an identity crisis. It's called Big Sky Burgers, but inside and out the windows are covered with posters of Korean food. And they are setup like a fast food restaurant, but the quality of their meals is anything but "fast food." We heard the burgers were good so we made a point to stop by and check them out. I looked through the descriptions of the different burgers and decided on a simple cheese burger. It was anything but simple. It was a good-sized burger with what amounted to a side salad added between the bun. I was hungry, but apparently I wasn't hungry enough because I couldn't finish all of it. I did finish the burger patty because it wasn't the usual burger-joint quality. It was made from Angus beef like we buy for ourselves when we make burgers at home. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, but simply too much extra food to finish. Part of the reason I lost my appetite before I completed the meal was that I ordered a basket of their crispy fries. They were hot and perfectly seasoned so I might have made a meal out of them before my burger showed up. Whatever my excuse is, the end results is I enjoyed a very delicious, fresh, quality burger and fries before I had to throw in the napkin. Maybe next time I'll skip a few meals before I try their burger again, 'cause I'm not skippin' their fries. Some other things you should know about this place. ============================================ -- It is not the same restaurant that you'll read about in the one-star reviews. The salad bar is gone and they have a public rest room. -- The owner is a foodie so every menu item is meticulously prepared to bring his customers the best quality and flavor. He cooks each dish like he is making them for his family. -- This place seems to have a lot of regulars so it gets packed at lunchtime. I saw the owner greeting people by name, immediately knowing what they wanted to order and there were many fist-bumps between him and the people streaming in for lunch.

It's located in Golden, Colorado, right across the street from the world-famous Coors Brewery, so the setting is already pretty cool and scenic. Bob's Atomic Burgers has a great neighborhood-joint feel: small, cozy, clean, and eclectic, with interesting stuff on the walls and a fun local vibe. When we walked in, there was a table near the door with order sleeves and paper forms where you build your burger by choosing the meat, bun, cheese, free toppings, and extra toppings. They have a really good selection. I went with a single beef patty on a white bun with American cheese, pickles, raw jalapeños, tomatoes, green chiles, banana peppers, and a large fry. We turned in our order sleeves at the counter and ordered fountain drinks. When we mentioned it was our first visit, the staff gave us a very warm welcome. The young lady behind the counter explained a little about the place and how the ordering process worked, which was much appreciated. The burgers are made to order, so we waited about 10-15 minutes. Honestly, that worked out perfectly because indoor seating is limited, and during the wait we were able to grab a table. They also have outdoor seating, though it was raining when we visited. When the burgers came out, they looked amazing. I'd describe them as a cross between a smash burger and a traditional patty, and I really liked that. My burger was delicious, juicy, flavorful, and messy in the best possible way. The large fries came in the usual paper sleeve, but it was absolutely overflowing, and the fries were hot, fresh, cooked to order, and excellent. This was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Great food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and a local feel that big chains just can't touch. Skip the lame McDonald's or Burger King run and go somewhere that makes an actual great burger. Bob's Atomic Burgers is absolutely worth the visit.
