I have been to Mill City Grill many times over the past 7 years. Food is consistently good. Burgers are always delicious - especially the one with their blue cheese sauce. I always upgrade to Cajun tots because they are crispy and seasoned perfectly. Their Everything We Love in a Bowl is so good and they have four different variations to try (think KFC famous bowl but much better). Went to meet some friends last night and noticed the steak frites on the menu. Why had I never tried this?! Sliced steak served over garlic Parmesan fries with blue cheese Alfredo and a balsamic reduction drizzled over it all. So delicious! read more

Wow..Ok. So it s a bar, but it's also a wonderful little jewel of a restaurant too, right in downtown Longview... lots of choices for drinking, but let me tell you it's the food that brought us back for now our 2nd visit. This time I had Chipotle clams and noodles and it was heavenly. Last time I enjoyed a hugenormous salad and Larry had a burger. This time he enjoyed their buffalo all in a bowl. Their wings are also absolutely fantastic. Lots of room definitely spaced well for social distancing and the staff has been fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try for a third time. read more

My favorite part was that they have an outdoor seating area so my dog was able to sit with us which was awesome. The inside was really nice too and the bathrooms were clean. Becca was assigned to our table but decided to let us sit there for nearly THIRTY minutes before acknowledging us. Gentleman who seated us was very polite and brought us our drinks and eventually took our order after realizing Becca was ignoring us. She made contact with my husband and myself multiple times, glared at us and made it very awkward. My ring of fire burger was served nearly raw, hamburger was completely pink on the inside. Becca never once checked in our table, never asked how's the food? Never refilled our drinks. The hostess gentleman is the one who offered to have a new burger made for me. Food is mediocre at best. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for ours. Someone needs to have an in service with Becca on how to provide excellent customer service, she is the reason our family will not eat here again. read more

My husband and I with our son and future daughter-in-law enjoy eating at the Mill City Grill. The food is excellent and served in a timely manner. They are friendly! Stopped here after a day at Mount Rainier National Park. Was originally going to go to a burger place down the street but it was closed so we decided to come here. Service was very slow as we didn't have someone take our order for 15-20 minutes after getting water. We ordered the loaded sweet potato fries as an appetizer and boy was it delicious. Bf and I both ordered the ring of fire burger and it was mediocre at best. It was nothing special, just an overwhelming amount of pickled jalapeños on it. The only reason it scored 2 stars was because of the fries. read more

The food used to be amazing but the last 4 times I've gone the quality of the food has gone wayyy down, it's understandable but still a bummer. My biggest issue is the bar service, there's a man who's always so nice & attentive but recently I was sat In a different section & the server was incredibly rude, she didn't great my friend & I, acted annoyed by our presence. She spilled my drink on me (no biggie) but then didn't say sorry didn't offer to get me more napkins so I could clean up. Nothing. Of course I still tipped over 20% because I'm 27 & look young so I figured she was assuming I wasn't going to tip well & maybe that's where the lack of service went but I won't be back. This review is about my last visit to this restaurant. This was my fourth time eating at this restaurant since I moved into this area in July of 2017. My first time was enjoyable, the server was excellent as was the meal so much so as I asked to speak with the owner Trina. I complimented her on the service and quality of the meal. Unfortunately with each subsequent visit both both the service and food quality deteriorated. My last visit Friday night was the worst. I arrived at around 5:00PM there were two tables occupied with dinners. There were three employees standing near the counter at the rear of the main dining room. The sign at the front instructed me to take any table marketed with "Sanitized for Your Safety sign. I found booth and seated. I was soon approached by a masked server. I ordered the 11 oz Ribeye steak dinner, ( salad, steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans $26.95) WOW! The salad was pretty good, but there was something in it I could identify so didn't eat it. The dinner was served in a timely manner. The steak portion was OK but the potatoes and beans were very small. If a restaurant is going to charge high end prices they better deliver, in this case they didn't. The steak was cooked to desired doneness (medium rear) but the flavor and quality of the cut were not up to the price paid. In fact all items on the plate needed salt a pepper to bring out any flavor. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I often tell people that the way I judge a restaurant is if I can't wait to return when finished with a meal. I can't say that about this place. I don't know what has happened of the last three years, but it doesn't speak well. I won't be returning again and can't really recommend them either. read more

Saturday March 26th between 12-12:30pm my elderly mother came in with her friend after they had spent a couple hours shopping at the wonderful stores on Commerce Ave. They went in and set down and the server brought them the menu and drinks. They set there for awhile waiting to order and they received no attention at all. Other diners came in after them and they placed their orders after just a few minutes. They decided to leave after they determined they were being ignored. (No eye contact) My mother might have looked like she was homeless. She is a 2x breast cancer survivor and is currently dealing with heart and breathing problems therefore she uses a motorized scooter and it was stacked up with all their purchases from their earlier fun. This made my Mom very sad as she doesn't have to many good days and who knows how many more she'll have. Her friend has been helping her through the tough stuff and she wanted to treat her to lunch. I am very disheartened and angry about how they were treated. I asked my mom specific questions to see why this might have happened. I always try to do and look at things 360°. Did the server leave? *The server that brought them the menus and their drinks is the person who rang up their drinks at the register when they went to leave. Where they really busy and overwhelmed? *They weren't that busy and there were other employees there. My guess is they were ignored because they were perceived as something they were not. These fine ladies live above the Columbia Theatre and enjoy their Commerce strolls. They gave Mill City Grill a try but sadly they won't be back. read more

So the chicken garlic pizza was absolutely burned to death sent back and took off bill. The salmon was so over cooked it was crispy on one side, they dont care if you eat there shi**y food or not. I usually don't have anything bad to say about this restaurant until today. I went in to have dinner with my mother. She is just here for a couple days and we like this restaurant. However, tonight was a HUGE BOMB!! We had drinks that were great. The fried Mac and cheese balls were amazing as always. The tuna tacos were out of this world. But the bison bowl was awful. I ate 2 bites and couldn't eat anymore. It was just an awful bland dish. The server came out 2 times the entire night. Didn't ask if we wanted desert at the end. She also asked to take the waters off our tables. That's something that you never do. Period!! She didn't even offer desert. She just came with the check and boxes before we were even done with our food and drinks. After taking the food away (I still paid for it even though I told her how bad the dish was) we sat there outside finishing our drinks. While sitting outside enjoying the drinks, all the lights were turned off without warning. So we sat in the dark flabbergasted at what just happened. Who turns the lights off on guests while they are still eating or drinking? That was absolutely the meaning of poor service. I would never do that to a guest in my restaurant. Like I said earlier, we really loved that restaurant. Tonight solidified the reason we will never visit your establishment ever again. Even though the food for the most part is good, customer service is what draws most people into restaurants and bars. I really hope you can teach your servers to be better at their job. I have always enjoyed the food, but the service seems to be getting worse every time I go there. They seem to have plenty of employees, but they don't appear to be very motivated. Instead, they prefer to stand at the back counter, watch people, and chat. They also have a nice bar upstairs, but it closes at 8, which doesn't make much sense to me. If you go to the Porky's on a Saturday night at 10, you'll see how many people are there, you're missing the boat on this one. read more

One of my favorite local spots. I like the "everything we love in a bowl"s. They have a great selection of brews available and the wait staff if friendly, but can be a bit slow at times. All in all, I recommend this place if you are looking for good food and a chill atmosphere. read more

My wife and I stopped in for dinner. She ordered the Cuban. I ordered the Jalapeño burger. She said her sandwich was around a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. My burger was great except the patty was a bit small. Good flavor but not enough meat. It came with so many fries that I couldn't eat them all. Maddie, our server was great and did a good job. Been here twice now... Both times the food was pretty good. However, the sevice is very slow. We waited for 30 minutes for our drinks. Food came out fast and hot. The place itself is pretty neat.
