Over the years, Milk Mustache has been one of my favorite places to buy cookies! Cypress location is far, but it's a small/cute shop! Worker was friendly as well. My top 2 are Cookies & cream and Campfire Bliss! Red velvet cream cheese is also good. Morning Brew has an espresso flavor so it's not too sweet. Also, the doggo loved his treats! Ordered a custom cookie cake to be shipped. It seems the shipping process needs work. It also appears the wrong message was on the cake (hard to tell) so that part of the ordering process needs to be lined out as well. My nephew said the cookie cake was really good tho! read more

This is the cutest little shop and it was a little hard to find. I circled the block a couple of times. When I got there my order was ready. I ordered a dozen assorted cookies and a bundle of mini cookies online, ahead of time. They close at 7pm on Saturdays. There was nothing mini about either. I shared the cookies with coworkers and they were huge and enough to share one cookie among a couple of people. We tried all the flavors. My favorite was cookies and cream and second fave was Red velvet. The banana pudding was a hit among the group. Some say the best cookie ever. I like how you can order in advance and even pick up extras when you arrive. Definitely recommend. read more

First visit so we decided on a six pack that we could share to sample different things. Our first taste was of the banana and I have to tell you that we both loved the soggy ooey-gooey with icing on top. Great start, a definite winner that would bring us back for more. Then we shared a chocolate chip; I'm not a huge chocolate chip fan usually, but Mr. Picky is and he considered it to be pretty good but not our favorite in north Houston. And then onto the Witches Brew cookie which had a perfect balance of salty and sweet that we both loved and would order again. Must have again: Banana and Witches Brew. We still have 3 more to try in the 6-pack and we'll see tomorrow what we think of those. Update: the next day we shared the red velvet, cookies & cream and Campfire. Well I did not love the foregoing and thought they were just OK, but Mr. Picky in fact actually stated that he quite liked them. He put me in my place and told me that he was entitled to his own opinion, even if it differed from mine. Overall, we liked the two from last night the best, the banana and the witches brew; so we have a reason to go back and definitely get more of those two when we're in the right mood. read more

Why 5 stars? Because it's hard to imagine cookies being much better than this. --- --- --- My wife found this place when we were in the area and I'm so glad she did. It's kind of an odd location, as it's in the midst of an office park. When we were driving up, we were convinced that we were not in the right place, but indeed we were. I wanted to take home one of every cookie, but resisted that urge and went with a 4-pack. We ordered the following: Banana Pudding: 100-stars. This was one of the best cookies I've ever in my life. If we could go back, I would have gotten 4 of these, despite the other choices being great too. Cookies & Cream + Sea Salt Caramel Pecan: 5-stars. These were great, but only overshadowed by the greatness of the banana pudding. Golden Goose: 4-stars. This one was for our son, who loves sprinkles. It was still really enjoyable, but not what I would chose because it's a bit of sprinkle overloard. The next time we were anywhere in the vicinity of a Milk Mustache, we will be stopping in. Love, love love these cookies! My fav is the chocolate chip. It's giant, super moist and it has a touch of sea salt which pairs so well with the chocolate. When you have a cookie craving, this is your go to if you're in the area. They're a super small shop but they have multiple cookie types to choose from and they're open till 7 on the weekdays. On pricier side, but definitely worth it. You will not be disappointed if you're a cookie lover! read more

One word to describe these: MOIST! You can get single cookie or a box. There's such a variety, that you'll probably end up getting a box. You'll get instructions on how to store your cookies if you don't plan eating all of them that day(they're big and thick, so you probably won't). Probably the best chocolate chip cookie I ever had. This location has a small parking lot in the back, is available for online pickup orders and in-person selections, and is easy to find thanks to the sign around the corner. Think of this place as a Crumble Cookie for adults- the flavors are varied, the cookies don't just taste like hot sugar goop, and there's salt where necessary. Absolutely delicious! read more

We were in the area for a wedding, and we were finally close enough to be able to try Milk Mustache. We ended up getting each flavor offered, a dozen cookies in total. The common theme throughout our entire box of goodies was the fantastic texture! The center was slightly soft and gooey, while the outside had the slightest crisp when you bit into it. Each cookie was massive, definitely enough to share. My top 3 favorite flavors were the classic chocolate chip, Salted English Toffee, and Nutella dream. The chocolate chip wasn't overly sweet and I loved the slightest sprinkle of sea salt on top. I love a sweet/salty moment so of course the Salted English Toffee was my jam. In the Nutella dream, the crunch provided by the sugar sprinkles was a delight, but the gooey Nutella oozing out from the center was drool-worthy. The only table offered is located outside the shop's doors, but luckily we were the only customers at the time because we couldn't wait until we made the long drive home to eat these bad boys. Mmmmm these cookies were sooo delicious! 1 cookie is the size of about 4-5 cookies from a place I frequent in my area! It was nice and soft in the very soft middle! The taste of the richness after you bite into it is hard to explain, you'll have to go try it and taste for yourself. You really could share this cookie with someone. It's a big cookie. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. And it is absolutely yummy. The classic chocolate chip cookie: Soft throughout with a slightly underbaked middle. A little bit of crumble at the very edge. Good distribution of chocolate chips throughout. And specs of salt sprinkled in. This is a very good cookie. And surprisingly, not too sweet at all. I ate half the cookie and didn't even feel bed about it. Since the cookie is quite thick, it does lack bit of bite in the consistency that I enjoy. The kind that as both gooey but with a bit of chew, you know what I mean? However, it doesn't cross over to the cake consistency and for that I am pleased. A little bit on the pricey side at $5 per cookie (or cheaper if you buy the 4 pack) but I think it was a good buy. Plus, it is always nice to support the smaller shops. read more

Their cookies are huge and delicious with a bit of salt. I love that because other places, the cookies are too sweet. One cookie will last you a couple of days; I can never finish one. We ordered via UberEats. We tried several types of their cookies. Firstly they're pretty big & present quite well. They are 4 1/2 inches in diameter and about 1 1/2 - 2 inches tall. I tried the Banana Pudding cookie first; it had a nice flavor. I enjoyed everything but the center, which came across as unbaked goo as opposed to a "pudding center," as described. Tastes good, just a bit odd in texture. We, also, ordered Cookies n Cream, Sea Salt Pecan, Campfire Bliss & Snickerdoodle. BIG. GIGANTIC. COOKIES. Each of their cookies are huge and are as big as a human palm. And the more you buy, the less each one costs! The owner was so sweet and explained the entire process so well for it being my first visit. She checked the back for any extra cookie flavors that weren't on display up front and I got to see all the cookies being made and packed from the doorway and it was so cool! I also want to know where she got her shoes because they were soooo cute! They have rotating flavors every week which can be found on their instagram. The flavors I got were chocolate chip, fruity pebbles, salted caramel pecan, and celebration. You most definitely can't go wrong with original chocolate chip. I love how you get a "cookie care" card for at home instructions. They're actually really helpful. 10 seconds in the microwave for one of these bad boys makes all the difference! Room temperature cookies are good, heating them up for a little bit makes it 1000x better! read more

During this houston visit I was craving something sweet and then Milk mustache oh so conveniently pops up on door dash. I ordered the campfire bliss, cookies & cream and celebration The cookies were HUGE - two people can easily split one. So you can imagine my nervous delight when I ordered 3 of these bad boys. They advertised the cookies to be gooey on the inside and crunchy and they are exactly that (to varying degrees) My favorite was the cookies and cream, it had the most gooeyness. Second was campfire bc nothing beats the taste of a toasted marshmallow and third was celebration which was a white chocolatey treat. I will most definitely be coming back! read more

This bakery is a small shop tucked in a quiet area. There's ample parking but limited room inside the shop so it could get cramped if more than two families are inside at once. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient with explaining all the flavors. These cookies are thick and satisfies my craving for a soft sweet dessert. You can heat the cookies back up for a few seconds to make them ooey gooey and softer. This spot is a true gem in the Cypress area. I love a good fat cookie and these cookies did not disappoint. The little shop is decorated so cute and I couldn't get over how nice their boxes are. We tried their specialty Christmas cookies and their staple Chocolate Chip and Cookies and Cream cookies. I was able to try these cookies because they were sent as a gift during the holidays to my niece & I have been craving them so badly since December of last year! Sea salt caramel pecan. Let's start with the fact I don't even like nuts or pecans or anything nutty. Can't stand it but the right amount in this cookie made me a fan of pecans. Only in this cookie though! Can't wait to personally get a fresh baked one in store the next time I'm in Houston but we followed the instructions they send for shipped orders & I couldn't tell they weren't fresh. The cookies are a bit like Crumbl and Levian Bakery although I give the edge in flavor to Milk Moustache. The Butterscotch had little bits of butterscotch in the dough and was by far my favorite flavor of the bunch. Lady at the counter was sweet and there was free samples of their weekly specials. Only downside, and why I give it a 4 star only, is because it's rather expensive. It's nearly $5/ a cookie and if you get a 4 pack it's roughly $19 (not including tip if you want to leave one). But I like to support local businesses so I was happy to give it a shot. Glad I did, but I don't know if I'll be back, personally I find it just too expensive. read more

I consider myself as a Milk Mustache OG lol! I've shared Milk Mustache with so many people it's crazy. I originally would purchase the cookies at the farmers market or drive to what is now their factory store! The Cookie Monster, salted toffee, biscoff, crème brûlée and pumpkin cheesecake are my favorite! Also do not sleep on the mini's. I think their cookies create a different experience from Most cookies and if you love cookies like I do you will be hooked! read more

I feel like I was confused on what mango combination to get, but I landed on mango and coconut with the small balls sago. It was different than what we were used to with boba, but I really liked it. I can definitely see how refreshing this would be on a hot day in Texas. My drink was ready literally right when I paid. So their service is very quick! It's also very cute inside, and looks nice and clean. There's lots of different drink shops I want to try in chinatown, but this is one of the good ones!

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The desserts here are fun, unique, and very different from what you find at most places. My only…read morecomplaint is the lack of labeling for many of the products. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

The thai tea was yummy too, but the thai tea was mild. It did wish it was stronger. The ube was nutty & vanilla in taste. Overall, the ice cream is good & affordable. I would come back for the yum cha & to try their other seasonal flavors.

This is not a place you go to just have lunch or something.This place is an experience. Some adults might find joy in here (like I do), but my children definitely did, and that's worth it. They came here with the same excitement that they had for disneyland so I'm really happy about that. We all liked the harry potter experience and some different anime type experiences as well that my children liked. The foods and drinks are on theme and although it's not cheap, it's definitely not as much as Disneyland. We came on the weekends, but during lunchtime, and I can see how they might be really busy during the dinner rush. Sometimes you might need a timed entry to go in, but thankfully, we have not since we've been going. I will say that it's quite small and gets cramped really fast. I just think the experience of it all is a really cool and I'm happy we have fun places like this around us in Houston.

Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk. Inside you have the more fancy tables, whereas outside, they're more weather resistant and not as upscale in appearance. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. One of the most surprising things when you come here are the relatively affordable prices as you might expect them to be more for being a coffee shop attached to a 5-star hotel with a helipad.

The cupcake I got was cookies and cream but it just taste like reg store bought cake. You know the type that it's "chocolate" but there's not much choc flavor to it. The cream cheese frosting was like eating melted grease and added nothing to the rest of the cupcake. I ended up taking a bite and dumping the rest. I got one of their brownies but gave that to my husband so he could eat it at work. So can't really talk on that.

Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.

I'll definitely come back at an earlier time since a lot of the pastries were sold out.
