Celebrations abound at milk bar! Excellent location for a birthday or just a quick treat. The decadent creations not only look good but taste good. Great service from our server however she was the only one on duty and this place is very popular so it got crowded very quickly Not a lot of space to sit so it is great for grab and go .

    $11 Pumpkin Coffee Cake Slice

I stopped by this little hole in the wall location and got the pumpkin coffee cake slice that I've been seeing all over instagram. Upon entry, I notice it was dimly lit, and really tight inside. There were 2 people ordering and then after I joined the line, two other people came inside and the store became packed. The girl at the counter was really friendly. The slice of cake itself was $11. It wasn't the biggest slice, but it was tasty. The pumpkin flavor really shined through and I get why it's really popular on social media. I probably wouldn't get it again until it comes back around next fall, but it definitely satisfied my craving.

The cake was moist and arrived on time from my Uber delivery. It has a great taste and very sweet, however it's not what I expected. The Birthday Cake is not even nearly or remotely close to Birthday Cake flavor, in fact both cakes taste as if they're made with way too much cream cheese. I was definitely not expecting a cream cheese taste. Had I wanted cheesecakes I would've ordered somewhere else. The cakes are also very small for the price. It was great to try but it's a no for me. If you're looking for chocolate with buttercream or Birthday Cake flavored cake, this is NOT it. These cake slices definitely have a cream cheese type frosting as if you're eating a cheesecake. Not bad but not what I ordered or wanted.

I've been to Milk (Brooklyn) on a couple of occasions and decided to try the pumpkin pie bar. I highly anticipated trying this limited offering and upon trying it wasn't what I expected. I could taste the pumpkin and the spices but nothing warranting me to give another try. It wasn't anything special in my opinion. I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this specific dessert.

I haven't been to a milk bar in ages. I'm glad that this place is opened so late. I was searching for a spot that doesn't close when the clock strikes 9 or 10pm. I really wanted the strawberry shortcake cake truffles, but it's seasonal so couldn't get it. The new seasonal truffle that will come out so they said to wait for that one. However, I did get the make your own or build your own pint. Really cool what goes in it! It was tasty! I don't think you can go wrong with what goes in your own ice cream pint. I will definitely go back and make it again.

I was exploring in Williamsburg and came across this cute ice cream/cookie shop and had to check it out! It wasn't busy at all so I was attended by a nice gentleman who let me sample both the Cereal Milk & Toasted Marshmallow ice cream before deciding which one I wanted. I chose the Toasted Marshmallow ice cream with torched mini marshmallows. What a yummy combo! I also got the Cornflake white chocolate chip marshmallow cookie which was both interesting and delicious.

Cake was ordered in November for a set birthday in January. Cake arrived on time packed with reusable gel ice packs. It was wrapped and sealed nicely to preserve its shape. Cake tasted fresh and was a great surprise to have on a special occasion.

3.5 stars. I've actually never had Milk Bar cakes before and have always wanted to try them. I got a slice of their classic birthday cake as well as a slice of the chocolate birthday cake. Honestly, I think it's overhyped. Both were too sweet and the cakes itself weren't very moist (although it wasn't necessarily dry either). The cakes were very crumbly and the frosting was definitely on the sweeter side, which I was already anticipating. The birthday cake slice had small pieces of crunchy crumbs that I actually thought was a bit too much. The chocolate cake had chocolate chips within the cake and had the same frosting. Definitely need to try yourself to judge the flavors and I'm glad I got to try it but be prepared for some sweet cakes. They also have cookies, ice cream and other popular items that I've tried and enjoyed in the past but definitely on the sweeter side.

Glad to be able to get a warm baked cookie even during covid. The restaurant/seating area isn't open but you can order through the window. Within a few minutes you can have a warm treat handed to you through the glass. They sell a lot of their merchandise here too. The blueberry and white chocolate cookie wasn't my favorite. They're definitely known better for their confetti or compost cookie- and it's so much better than the box they sell at target!

We ordered one strawberry and one strawberry banana crêpe. They were filled with strawberries and bananas, and the outside was drizzled with glorious Nutella, which is a hazelnut chocolate sauce . The banana and strawberry not so much as to me that didn't really have much of a taste, but maybe that was because the rest of it was super flavorful and over powered the fruit. All good and definitely satisfied my crêpe craving, but next time I would stop by to enjoy their desserts in person. The Kunafa looks particularly wonderful and has definitely peaked my curiosity.

Having a dessert spot in the neighborhood that is open late night and is serving flavors of our culture is nothing short of a dream come true. Not so great for my weight loss goals, though haha. Thank you, Moose. I came in here, and the place was absolutely buzzing, with groups of people enjoying their late night desserts- a testament to how much we needed this spot to just open and thrive and exist. I don't personally like cream Kenafa so I haven't really tried anything off their menu yet, but the Dubai chocolate crêpe is really calling out my name, and I am just going to bite the bullet and try it one of these days. I did go in to sample their Dubai chocolate. As a chocoholic, I am on a low-key search for the best Dubai chocolate bar in the city. This bar did not disappoint. The filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. However, I do feel that there is an over balance of crispy kanafa in the filling. I think it could use more pistachio cream and be a little on the runnier side. Can't wait to come back and try that crêpe. Until I am able to make that trip back, do stop in and enjoy a sweet treat in this cute little dessert shop. It's also Palestinian owned so you know you are supporting the right people and the right cause while satisfying that sweet tooth craving. What more could a customer ask for?

Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana.
