Not one of my favorite 16 handles locations. They have all the flavors but it is always a bit dirty. I feel like it's hard to keep these places clean! The yogurt is great though and staff are really kind! A bit overpriced but that's NYC

I wanted to try 16 handles due to a stellar review from a friend. I got the small cup and got cookie dough, peanut butter, strawberry, Graham, and yogurt classic. The cookie dough tasted okay but honestly having the physical form of cookie dough in vanilla ice cream tastes better. The peanut butter didn't taste like peanut butter; more like chocolate. The yogurt tasted like Greek yogurt, which I was not that excited about but I just didn't know. The strawberry and graham cracker ice cream was good. I don't think the ice cream or frozen yogurt was that great. I wish it was more creamy or thick. It melted pretty quickly and it was very expensive too. I spent 12 and some change even though this was essentially the size of 2 or 3 at best scoops at a ice cream shop.

Delicious fro yo. That's the review. Lol ik but seriously. Delicious fro yo at practically every location. Wonderful staff. Extremely clean and follow COVID protocols. Can't think of anything else you'd want in a fro yo shop. Price goes by weight here, so be easy on the toppings unless money is not an object or you're like me and just can't fathom putting a price on yummy fro yo! Lol This fro yo is not like pink berry, it's on the sweeter side, so it definitely taste and feels more like dessert then a healthy snack, but life is short! Enjoy it to the fullest! Overall, I'd highly recommend this and almost any 16 handles location in NYC!

This is my daughters favorite place to have some nice ice cream with many many toppings. They are open during COVID. so if you have a craving for sweets this is your place to go

This is a great location. There aren't really any other good choices for yogurt even close to walking distance, which makes this place even more valuable. I guess hipsters don't really like yogurt, as this place is usually pretty empty. This is really the only good dessert spot I like in this area, aside from the 10 minute or so walk down to OddFellows for some really excellent ice cream. If you are trying to keep it a bit lighter though, this is your best bet around here. Read any other review from any other 16 Handles in NY to find out more. They're all the same now.

Good topping with good flavor ice cream

I went here after the crazing for frozen yogurt was strong!!! They offered a good selection of toppings and flavors. While they don't have a lot of toppings the toppings they do have are amazing and tasty!! Graham cracker icecream is the winner along with chocolate crunch topping. The yogurt itself is a little runny instead of silky which takes away from it a bit. The girl that works there looks like she hates her job when asking for a sample she hands you a cup and just doesn't care. They started mopping while I was eating icecream I mean cmon? The smell of cleaning solution while you're eating not cool. Staff members needs an attitude adjustment. Don't clean the floors while people are eating. Just common curtesy. They accept cash credit or you can use level up where you scan you're phone! Pretty cool. Would definitely try 16 handles again just probably not this location.

Our cashier was very nice to us. She greeted us on arrival and asked us if we would like sample cups. That's the first time I've ever been offered sample cups so she rocks just for offering it without me having to ask. We tried numerous flavors here and they were very satisfying. I was a huge fan of the cheesecake and peanut butter flavor. My daughter were a fan of the fudge flavor yogurt. I am a little disappointed that 3 flavors I really wanted to try, were out and not being refilled. I wanted to try the Salted caramel but there wasn't anymore, also cookies and cream and red velvet. I was actually expecting all those wonderful flavors to be empty, because seriously, who doesn't love salted caramel and the other 2 flavors? I will be returning again and hopefully with those flavors being fully stocked. My 4 stars are based on customer service and decent flavors. I will be returning again for more visits especially since our nice cashier signed me up for a VIP rewards card.

We ordered one strawberry and one strawberry banana crêpe. They were filled with strawberries and bananas, and the outside was drizzled with glorious Nutella, which is a hazelnut chocolate sauce . The banana and strawberry not so much as to me that didn't really have much of a taste, but maybe that was because the rest of it was super flavorful and over powered the fruit. All good and definitely satisfied my crêpe craving, but next time I would stop by to enjoy their desserts in person. The Kunafa looks particularly wonderful and has definitely peaked my curiosity.

Having a dessert spot in the neighborhood that is open late night and is serving flavors of our culture is nothing short of a dream come true. Not so great for my weight loss goals, though haha. Thank you, Moose. I came in here, and the place was absolutely buzzing, with groups of people enjoying their late night desserts- a testament to how much we needed this spot to just open and thrive and exist. I don't personally like cream Kenafa so I haven't really tried anything off their menu yet, but the Dubai chocolate crêpe is really calling out my name, and I am just going to bite the bullet and try it one of these days. I did go in to sample their Dubai chocolate. As a chocoholic, I am on a low-key search for the best Dubai chocolate bar in the city. This bar did not disappoint. The filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. However, I do feel that there is an over balance of crispy kanafa in the filling. I think it could use more pistachio cream and be a little on the runnier side. Can't wait to come back and try that crêpe. Until I am able to make that trip back, do stop in and enjoy a sweet treat in this cute little dessert shop. It's also Palestinian owned so you know you are supporting the right people and the right cause while satisfying that sweet tooth craving. What more could a customer ask for?

Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

It was a bit warm at our table, and the friendly staff moved us to a cooler area. To drink, I ordered the Wolf's Fang for $18, a blend of rums, falernum, arak, passionfruit, orange, and oat milk. As described, it was their take on a milk punch, and wasn't too sweet with a bright hint of citrus. I would recommend it. The hummus was good, being thick with a strong tahini flavor, though I have preferred others. Outside of the hummus, the daily salatim included a mix of mostly pickled items. First, there was some pickled cauliflower and carrots with a bit of turmeric. The second salatim was a more unique and spicier pineapple slaw, which was refreshing, and had some herbal flavor from parsley or something similar. The third was a cabbage slaw, which was alright, as I found it a bit too lightly seasoned. The last was a mix of cucumbers, olives, and other pickles, which was standard and tasty. Alongside all of this, the pita was warm and fresh, and the staff refilled everything when we asked. For the main course, I chose the Steak Shashlik, which they spell as shishlik, for $46, which came with tahini and some pickled onions. The steak was tender and well seasoned, and the tahini added a distinctive nuttiness. I especially enjoyed making a mini sandwich with the steak, tahini, pineapple pickle, and pita. Others at the table ordered the Spicy Lamb Kofta and other shashlik options, including Chicken and Trout. In terms of sides, someone got the $15 Fries with tahina ketchup, which they enjoyed. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal, with no one ordering dessert as a few walked over to the tasty Bertoni Gelato nearby. This place is a tad expensive, but I wouldn't mind going back. Even as a fan of pickles, I wish the salatim were a bit more varied, such as including an eggplant or bean-based mezze. I presume the dinner version is a bit more varied, as there are many more salatim, but they should put a bit more effort into the lunch one as well.

We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. Flavor-wise, I tried the masala chai, black cherry cardamom, and the saffron soft serve. The saffron soft serve reminded me of the leftover milk from ras malai turned into soft serve, which was interesting and nostalgic. The masala chai and cherry cardamom were more subtle than I hoped. Some tasted unique upfront but left a slightly weird aftertaste that kind of lingered. I respect what they're trying to do and can see why people love it, especially if you're easing into more globally inspired desserts, but for the price, I wanted stronger flavor payoff and a cleaner finish. TLDR: Unique global inspired ice cream flavors, friendly staff, and free samples, but some flavors felt muted and had an odd aftertaste.
