Love that the Williamsburg location is now open. It is ridiculously close to home and I may just go even more frequently. I used to stop at the one in the East Village, but now...it's right here! I love all the flavors, you can never go wrong...and I love their plethora of topping choices. My favorite new toppings are all the different boba flavors...simply delicious. Good any time of the year. read more

No issue redeeming $5 birthday reward here, a solid location in an area that doesn't need froyo but somehow still isn't that oversaturated with options. read more

16 Handles - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

See all

Just visit with my daughter and her ice cream spilled and they really made me pay for another.

Prime location off the L train station so it's a good spot to hangout before heading back home. Place used to be cleaner and better in terms of customer service. There would usually be an associate by the machines once there's a crowd, offering sample cups and suggestions if asked. Now there's none of that or sample cups by the counter to test the flavors. The temperature needs to be adjusted too, more often than not comes out melting. What happened?! read more

Good frozen yogurt, toppings are always fresh and there's a good variety. Staff is friendly and place is clean. Love hat they have fat free sugar free options. read more

I LOVE 16 handles and so happy they opened this one in Williamsburg. I'm waiting for the one to open near my neighborhood. But for now this will have to be my local. Nice staff and clean space equals a happy customer! 16 handles over pink berry any day! read more

16 Handles - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Came here before yoga, I was the only one there because I love eating frozen yogurt on the coldest night in December and no one else does. The girl was super nice, and everything seemed clean and in order. I'm kind of one of those people that can't decide so I had one swirl each of euro tart, peanut butter, cake batter, and cheesecake. Toppings? Strawberries, graham cracker crumbs, fruity pebbles, rainbow sprinkles, excessive amount of whipped cream... perfection. read more

Even thought the frozen yogurt is delicious, the service was probably the worse I have ever had in NY. As soon as we walked in, we were asked if we had a mask, we put it on, while, the employee removed the mask, when checking out, her nose was exposed and asked her not to breath in out food and she replied she was vaccinated, so are we, so why do we have to wear a mask??? Extremely rude and dismissive attitude, not appreciative of their customers. read more

Nothing out of the ordinary as compared to other 16 handles. Good flavors, abundance of toppings, okay customer service. The location always seems to have customers and that might be due to the location. Walk in here and you can expect to feel the same ambiance as other 16 handles. read more

Wohoo, my favorite frozen yoghurt shop just around the corner from Bedford Ave subway. Great selection of toppings! But unfortunately not as many flavors as in their East Village store...Could improve on that, but overall great experience! And they even offer delivery. read more

16 Handles - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Wow it got so expensive. Did they forget it's just a frozen yogurt shop? And never with "16 handles" working? I tried a flavor I never tried before - strawberry shortcake...so good. But come on, I paid about $8 and I didn't even fill the pink cup up to the brim. Omg I can get 2 supermarket ice creams for that amount and have them for days. The prices are just ridiculous. I used to love them and if it wasn't for the credit I had on my account I wouldn't have come. Be reasonable and give us a decent price for the items you sell. read more

16 Handles - Top and eat it - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Yikes. Really wanted to like this place. But the yogurt is way too warm. Was already slightly melted when it came out of the machines. The flavors tasted a little strange. And the girl working was super depressed. The whole mood there is pretty sad. Basically, Yogurtland is way better. read more

Had a fro-yo craving tonight... Yep in the middle of winter and luckily 16 Handles is very close to my apartment. And to my surprise lots of other people getting their late night fro-yo itch scratched. :) Got a mash up of tart euro, NY cheesecake and chocolate. Yum!!! Topped with fresh berries and choc chips. Store was clean, product was fresh and tasty. Will be back when the craving strikes again! read more

16 Handles - Random mash up of euro tart, chocolate and NY cheese cake topped with berries, choc chips and sprinkles. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

The yogurt tasted fine, despite the high price of 75 Cents/oz! There were about 10 people working and only two who were actually working. Their employees were bothered by customers who asked for taster cups. Yes, they actually had to put their phones down to help a customer. During the twenty minutes we were there, the employees were on their phones or eating. Tables could have been wiped, items restocked or the overflowing trash could have been emptied. It was the most unprofessional establishment I've ever seen. Unbelievable. read more

Fave flaves: Banana, Taro, Graham cracker. Also they let you sample the hell out of everything which is nice and stopped me from getting cotton candy flavor which who am I kidding I kind of liked anyway. It's not really healthy but who the hell cares! Although sometimes when I feel healthy I just get fruit, nuts and coconut and it's cheaper than what you'd pay for a fruit cup. read more

There's only one cup size, $.75 per ounce or whatever price scheme. A sprinkle of crushed oreos, not even a full twirl of FRYO at the bottom of my cup, $8.00. My cup looks empty as hell should have went to whole foods and got a half a pint of ice cream. read more

One day I left the Bedford L station and saw a few people with the colorful spoons. I was like WHERE IS IT?!!? For a minute I felt like I was 5 again.... but that's okay. Creating a 16 handles spot in Williamsburg was the best investment to have been done !! I've been coming here since it opened and I only have wonderful things to say. If you're in the mood for something sweet and healthy, this is the GO TO PLACE. There's plenty of flavors to choose from and the best part is you can mix as many as you want. Sometimes the flavors run out, but that's okay... there are so many others! euro tart, chocolate love affair, mango, pomegranate raspberry and sweet cream are a few of my FAVVVVS. I absolutely love the atmosphere here. I feel like I walk into a lounge because of the upbeat music which is pretty cool. I've been here when the music is chill and sweet which is also fantastic! It's a great place to come sit with friends, family, by yourself or with your boo ;) It's fantastic! x3 read more

This is my favorite spot , I love most of the flavors, pistachos was my favorite but i think its seasonal. Any way I would go every day but Ofcourse I can't. Defenetly a place you should not miss you will love it like me.. read more

What's not to love? It's FroYo, really hard to go wrong here. This place is pretty spacious and they have quite a big selection of frozen yogurt flavors, definitely 10+ flavors to choose from and sample! My favorite flavors are the graham cracker and birthday cake.. yum! Boyfriend loves the coffee flavor and gets it every damn time without fail. I also think the topping section is bountiful, with many cakes, cookies, gummies, marshmallows, and even mochi to choose from; and to top it all off they have warm fudge sauce and whipped cream. The place is really fun a bright on the inside with plenty of seating. Points knocked off because the staff have an "indifferent" attitude, but it doesn't bother me so much since it is self serve. Also, sometimes the consistency of the froyo is a little watery and loose. Overall, a solid spot to get your FroYo fix, not much different than other frozen yogurt shops, but I'm not complaining, they're all great! read more

Whenever I go to walk around the area the first thing that comes to my mind is that I have to get my dose of ice cream to 16 Handles, one of the best ice creams I've ever tried :) Totally recommended, they have good variety in the flavors as well in the topping, they count with a fast service and a clean space. My favorite ones: Peanut Butter Yogurt and off course as a Colombian Arriba Coffee Yogurt! read more

Don't order from here unless you want to be disappointed. Ordered 2 froyo's and only received 1. The 1 order received with all the wrong toppings. Still waiting for them to make it right. Avoid this place at all costs !!!!! read more

No Bathroom-Rude Manager-Told to go Pee on a Tree! After 2 dishes of yogurt my 4 year old son had to go to the bathroom. An employee told me to go to the pizzeria down the street. After speaking to the manager in the back room she came back and suggested that I send my son to the back with the employee by himself (super-duper creepy!) or have him pee on the tree in front of the shop. I asked to speak to the manager in person and was told that he was too busy. This location is not kid-friendly! How can a place like this not have a bathroom? Not a good after school spot for the littlest hipsters of Williamsburg! read more

HORRIBLE!!!!! I ordered the chocolate lover affair and to my surprise there were MAGGOTS IN IT! This place has ruined my lovely 16 handles experience. I called and all they said was they were going to look into it. No apology no nothing. read more

Decent froyo flavors. My issue is with the employees who threw out a bag left on the counter without attempting to find who it belonged to. The store wasn't even crowded! We were in the store for a total of 15 minutes while this all occurred. So sad. read more

The yogurt is frozen runoff from the Newtown Wastewater plant in Greenpoint. The raspberrys are made from those little packets of silica gel that you get when you buy shoes or seaweed. The mango pieces are sidewalk chalk. Use them to write in big letters outside "PINKBERRY 4 EVAH" read more

Came here to try out their frozen yogurt because my sweet tooth was craving after dinner nearby! I had heir salted Carmel and mango flavor yogurt. Mango had a very strong taste like icy mango but nothing like real mango flavor. The salted Carmel was pretty salty in my opinion which was soso. The toppings were standard from what any other frozen yogurt place would offer such as fruits, mochi, bubble balls and etc. read more

Pretty cool place, i mean that both figuratively and literally. Like the many topping options they have at this place. The yogurt itself is delicious and staff are kind. read more

Aside from the amazing froyo offered here, they have awesome customer service. My sister, niece, and I came here after a local Fair and the 2 young guys working there were so sweet. They deserve 5 stars too! read more

Give me the ability to shamelessly pile on as many peanut butter based toppings as I desire, without anybody having to serve and judge me, and I will give you four stars on Yelp. The only thing that could make this place better is if they had actual Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Broken pieces would work nicely. Their mini cups and Reese's pieces are good but they just don't deliver the same experience or flavor. That being said, they do have a plethora of toppings and frozen yogurt flavors that would probably please anybody. It's interesting to see whether people go the healthy (fruit) route or pile on the sugar in a fit of gluttony. I will always be guilty of the latter. read more

Definitely coming here every time I'm in Williamsburg. 16 Handles a great spot to stop by before heading to all the nearby music venues. The store is large and has SO many flavors. I sampled most and especially loved the taro! We even got to sit in the private-ish circle booth, which made eating our froyo immensely more enjoyable. read more

Okay so my girlfriend's boyfriends talks about this place as if it's a sin not to visit the spot. At first I thought it was called 16 candles, named after the movie. I was definitely wrong it was 16handles and I see why... one word Birthday Cake... ok 2 words. Mixed that type of yogurt with CAPTIN CRUNCH TOPPINGS.. and you are in paradise. There's a variety of selections. But be aware; whatever the description of the flavor yogurt is, the taste is just as vivid. The toppings are great. one topping that was my favorite was muchi ( im probably spelling it wrong but.. whatever.. it's also found in Pinkberry) I called it candy tofu.... no taste!!! :( .. Any who, the staff was friendly and nice, the atmosphere is pretty clean and portions are large. It doesn't beat Pinkberry, but this is waaayyy better than Red Mango and I crave - definitely better than iCrave.. read more

I am a big fan. I wish I lived closer is the only negative. Great flavors and even some sugar free choices for diabetics. Yummy toppings and reasonably priced. I love this stuff and could eat it everyday. Go! read more

Great fro-yo, but the staff is rarely friendly. I feel like I need to apologize for my existence every time I walk in here.
