Coming up to spring training game from Tucson and ran something over and got stranded at a Wendy's. AAA had 45 minute wait so I called over here and a gentleman came and changed our spare tire for us and no charge. I planned on buying tires from them, however, they didn't have any in stock. Was informed about the length of time it would take, went next door for a great lunch at the Asian place, and upon return just waited a few minutes for completion. A little frustrated that I got charged the diagnostic fee for them to tell me, "Not sure, take it back to the previous mechanic." I used to think the mechanic I had was good until I came here. I was in a crunch for time and strapped for cash, they made my problems go away fast and cheap. 2 different mechanics at Firestone couldn't figure out where a squeaking was coming from. They not only found but fixed the problem in 5 min. Same w my exhaust rattle, couldn't figure it out. They found the problem. Super friendly and very very fair pricing. You know I have no complaints juan was very helpful as well as some of the workers who showed me the leak of my transmission and that the seals needed to be redone . My truck is currently in the shop for a major repair and I'll review it soon, but this is a Yelp for prior service and the reason I brought my truck back to MILE. When I moved here to AZ and did the emissions testing it failed the vapor leak test. I live close by and saw online that they had good reviews for honest, quality work so I took it to Mile where John quoted two options (as usual - they give you multiple options if possible). It was going to need a new or used fuel tank - the filling port/hose was broken/cracked where it is built into the tank. Being disabled at the time and unable to work and having no income beyond the grace of family support, they were able to repair the old tank in such way that it was as good as new and passed emissions no problem. In short, they did quality work and saved me hundreds of dollars I didn't have to spend on repairs. That was, and remains, my first impression of Mile. For getting me out of that bind they earned all my future business, which today amounts to a severe overheating, blowing the head gasket filling the engine with coolant/water. It's going to be an expensive repair this time due to the labor required for such a big job, thus eating up half my Student Financial Aid this semester, but at least I know it's in good hands and they'll stand by their work. I'll update or post a new Yelp when I've had my truck back for a few days and feel it's 'out of the woods' on the current issue. read more

Don't go here! We looked up tons of reviews before deciding on Mile Auto and had a horrible experience! I dropped my husbands car off at 9am and by the time I went to pick it up at 4pm, there was a huge dent in the drivers side front panel! The dent was SO bad that the door can no longer be opened all the way. With this being said, the staff vehemently denied that the dent happened while in their care. They did everything in their power to make us look and feel like con artists that intentionally brought our dented up car there to blame on them. I never knew that I would have to photograph my car before taking it to get REPAIRED! What a lesson to learn! read more

During a recent trip to Arizona to visit friends, we had an incident with our vehicle. It wouldn't start, and we jump started it but it didn't go far. We were on our way back and it was Saturday, so we definitely panicked. The closest place we could tow the car to was Mile Auto Repair. We were really afraid because it was the weekend. However, the service was great, fast and efficient. Very knowledgeable and friendly service adviser was able to diagnose and fix the problem the same day. Honest and trustworthy, and they made sure the car was in great condition to face the many hours of travel we had ahead of us. Finding a reliable and honest car repair shop when out of town can be scary and frustrating, but this place was definitely worth it. We were so thankful we found it. Without question this was some of the best service I have ever received. I was visiting the area from California when my serpentine belt broke. Unfortunately it happened at about 4:30 p.m. when most shops are getting ready to close. I called around and could not find a mechanic who was willing to stay late and help me out.....until I called Mile Auto Repair. I spoke with the owner, Chris, on the phone and explained the situation. Chris' mechanic, Carlos, agreed to stay late and work on my car. They were able to get the serpentine belt for me before the parts places closed, but when my car arrived at the garage, Carlos discovered my tensioner was also toast and they could not get that part because of the time constraints. I called Auto Zone and they told me they had the part. Chris then took me to Auto Zone, but when we got there we discovered the part would not work. When we discovered my car could not be fixed that same day, Courtney, another employee, arrange for me to get a rental car for the evening. Chris then took me to the airport so I could pick up my rental car. The car was fixed and ready to go by the next day. Chris then took me back to the airport to drop off my rental car. Chris, Carlos, and Courtney were all so helpful. I hope they know how much their service is appreciated.
