What a gem! A lovely family owned place. The owners are friendly as could be and clearly proud of their little spot, with pics of their hometown on the wall. There are only five tables so a reservation is a good idea and I've found it hard to make one on a Friday or Saturday night. Everyone enjoyed their meals which were the best Italian we have found in the area, by far. Caesar salad was great, though the dressing comes on the side. Very fresh. The spaghetti with clams was delicious, very clammy and nicely flavored with garlic and herbs and olive oil, the spaghetti perfectly al dente. The pesce (branzino?) fillet with olives in a tomato sauce over linguine was fresh and again nicely cooked. Others at the table enjoyed the pesto tortellini with added chicken, and the chicken Milanese. No alcohol on the premises but you can BYOB with no corkage fee. When I was cautioned that the food might take some time since they don't use microwaves, that's the moment I knew this was real-deal-Holyfield. I came for the pasta, ultimately going with the manicotti. A very satisfying dish with loads of Ricotta. As good as that was, nothing could have prepared me for the limoncello cake. So.. we came here on the tremendous hype that was given by the Yelp community. Honestly, it was very good.. but certainly not something I would go out of my way for. The food was very good, but not outstanding in any way. The ambiance was... well... seats in the front of a deli. What I liked was the personal touch of what I can only assume were the owners/cook/server that took specific attention on everything that arrived at the table. The service was excellent. They do not server any alcohol so you can bring your own bottle of wine with no cork fee... which is a cool feature! Warm bread served, no butter allowed, just oil, but the olive oil is not a high quality so it doesn't provide Italian authenticity. No appetizers so we jumped right into the dinners. All fresh ingredients are used in the entrees. Pasta cooked to perfection. The shrimp postitano special was delicious and served over spaghetti. The seafood fradiablo had the right amount of flavor, just enough spice. Tender large Mussels and a small lobster tail was placed on a bed of spaghetti. Recipes are authentic Italian. I brought my family and promised them an unforgettable Italian dining experience and Giuseppe's delivered. We brought a bottle of wine for them to cork free of charge. We ordered an the cheese and olive appetizer, very yummy! The burrata was great, soft and creamy. For entrees we ordered the chicken marsala, half bronzino, seafood pasta and shrimp linguini. The bronzino was amazing!! The fish was fresh as he showed it to us prior to cooking. The meat was soft, flaky and white. It fell off the bone--cooked perfectly! The whole table enjoyed this dish. My seafood pasta was great! They were very generous with the mussels, clams and shrimp. Very very good. My brother loved his marsala ate it all up and was very happy with it. My sister also really enjoyed her linguini. The owners, Giuseppe and his wife were beyond accommodating. They were the most friendly people talking to us throughout the meal and even walked us out. We had a wonderful experience dining at Gueseppie's in Boca Raton. We were warmly greeted by the owners who placed our bottle of wine in an ice bucket at our table with two wine glasses (BYOB). Without delay, they returned with delectable, warm, and fresh bread with an elegant tasting olive oil. We started with an antipasti, "Mozzarella Caprese" as our eyes and taste buds welled up with enthusiasm. The tomatoes they hand selected were perfectly ripe and extremely flavorful. The Buffalo mozzarella from Italy is truly a superior cheese like no other aa it was moist and soft. For our Main Entree we shared, "Branzino Michelle." The European Sea Bass was an exceptional, mild and flakey fish that melted in your mouth. Sweet and tender lobster was added to the dish and served over a tasty pasta with garlic, artichokes, asparagus, and cherry tomatoes in a delightful sauce. We highly recommend this family- owned restaurant for an upscale experience offering a comfortable atmosphere that excels in regional Italian food. I gave my word to my dear friend Marc that I wouldn't write a review until he wrote his. I keep my promises & today is the day I can finally spill the beans. Here I go... Park in the back of the cafe and simply walk around to the front entrance. Upon entering the cafe you will see six or seven tables, a counter with a display of homemade cookies and a freezer case of gelato & that's about it. This isn't your typical fancy schmancy Boca Schmoca restaurant. This is great news because you will have personalized attention from Domenic & Victoria; the husband and wife team that have created this special cafe. You won't be rushed because they are not looking to flip tables. They genuinely want you to enjoy your meal. While Chef Domenic is creating his magic in the kitchen, Victoria is being a gracious hostess, an attentive server all while making sure her guests are enjoying the delicious food coming out of the kitchen. Both are passionate about preparing good food with fresh ingredients and they take great care in making sure you have a great dining experience. Domenic stopped by our table to make sure we were happy. Of course we were, because he's an amazing chef. Victoria checked on us too & made sure we had everything we needed. I felt like I was dining in their home & not in a restaurant & that's a wonderful feeling. Especially for Boca. Victoria bakes the cookies and desserts but I am not positive if she also makes the bread, which is scrumptious. Nothing is better than piping hot fresh baked bread right out of the oven. Simply delicious. Marc & Dennis ordered an antipasto for the table & I almost started drooling when I had my first bite of the homemade burrata cheese. Once you cut through the paper thin shell of hard mozzarella, your digging into the soft, creamy, rich goodness of true burrata. Everything on the platter was fresh & wonderful. The meat was incredible & don't even get me started on the artichokes. You must order the antipasto, it's truly amazing & the best I have ever had. Did I mention the creamy burrata? I would order this as a meal. So good. Your welcome to bring your own wine & unlike other restaurants, you will not be charged a corkage fee, which is rare especially in Boca. Marc and Dennis ordered shrimp dishes. I tried the shrimp (thank you Dennis) & it was so good. Two things you need to know about this restaurant; if you want a certain fish or something not on their menu, give them a call a few days in advance & they will make it for you. Most importantly, with only a handful of tables, if you plan on eating, be sure to make a reservation. Tortellini with pesto sauce was on the menu & I knew I had to order it. Pesto sauce is a favorite of mine & I seldom see it offered in restaurants. The tortellini was delectable and the creamy pesto sauce was crazy good. The portion was large enough for two meals & it made a fantastic lunch the following day. So good! We split a large cup of chocolate chip mint gelato & the gelato was cold, creamy and oh so good. Victoria bakes the cookies so I asked her if she makes rainbow cookies. They are a treat I often bring for dessert when going to a friends home for dinner so I was thinking ahead for future reference. Not only did she say yes, she was kind enough to give us a few to sample. They were much tastier than the cookies from the bakery where I normally buy them. Next time I need to bring dessert somewhere, I will be placing my order with Victoria. Thank you to Marc & Dennis for a great night of food and friendship. If you're here scrolling through reviews looking to convince yourself whether or not to go, please trust me - go now and thank me later! **PRO TIP**: Make reservations in advance, and you can also ask for custom dishes/substitutions if you call ahead. Okay, since it seems like you *really* need convincing, let me break down my experience for you, step-by-step. TL;DR: Fantastic meal. Even better dessert. Quality and caring service. Private Italian chef atmosphere at a shockingly affordable price. I am jealous that you are in Boca Raton considering eating here while I am far away, freezing in NYC, envious of you and your tastebuds that are in for a treat. - Arrival: From the outside, I almost passed the restaurant because it was so subtle and low-key in such a high-end (in my opinion!) area of Boca Raton. Thankfully, my friend who suggested the restaurant had been there several times before throughout the years, so he knew exactly where to go. - Ambience: Warm and welcoming. It quite literally felt like I was Italian, in Italy, being served a private feast in the comfort of my home by my Italian grandparents. At first glance, the seating comes off similar to deli style, but the meal is exceptional nonetheless. There are about 7 tables in the entire restaurant, which is about the size of a modest apartment unit. The staff consists of a husband-and-wife team; the husband is the sole chef, and the wife helps prepare and serves. When I was there, there was also one other helper on hand to serve breads, etc. Given that there is a single chef, you may have to wait a long time for your food if you time your arrival poorly (for example, if you arrive immediately after several other parties, whose food will be prepared before yours); that is why the owners and I both encourage you to make reservations in advance! My friend and I had to wait a little while for our food, and it was absolutely beyond worth it. - Service: Incredible. The wife recognized that I am an Italian food amateur, and she was incredibly helpful to describe all of the dishes and differences in flavors, ingredients, etc. She even checked on my friend and me several times before and throughout the meal to ensure that everything was perfect. She even brought extra plates during our meal so that we wouldn't have to mix flavor profiles (we had a lemon dish, a tomato sauce-based dish, and a white wine sauce-based dish). - Price: Everything was priced right around what I would expect, no more and no less. That said, given the generally high cost of cuisine in Boca Raton, I would consider this food and experience an absolute steal! - Entrees: INCREDIBLE. My friend and I split three items: Gnocchi 4 Formaggi, Chicken Picatta, and Rigatoni Bolognese (one of the specials, not listed on the menu). Every dish was fantastic and flavorful! My order of preference was 1. Gnocchi, 2. Rigatoni Bolognese, 3. Chicken Picatta. My friend's order of preference was 1. Chicken Picatta, 2. Rigatoni Bolognese, 3. Gnocchi. Clearly, all are exceptionally delicious if there were no stand-out dishes in comparison to the others. - Dessert: Jaw-dropping deliciousness. I couldn't resist and got a slice of cheesecake -- one of the best slices of cheesecake I have ever had in my life! Just like the entrees, they make all of the desserts in-house, and they use Ricotta cheese in the cheesecake instead of typical cream cheese. I could have eaten an entire cheesecake and would have been happy (and much heavier...!). So many other desserts tempted me, including the cannoli and chocolate cake, but I am so beyond glad I chose the cheesecake. - Worth mentioning: Throughout our dining experience, as all the other parties at other tables wrapped up their meals, every single one of them (including us when we finished) made a point to shake the husband's and wife's hands to thank them for such an incredible dining experience. Over and over all night long, we heard comments such as "that was the best meal I've had in a long time," "I am sad the meal is over," and "I look forward to coming back soon." THAT alone should convince any sensible person to give this restaurant a try! And yes, if and when I return to Boca Raton, Giuseppe's will be the first restaurant I visit. Started by showing us the fresh seafood to be used, checking with us during every course and assuring all our expectations were met. So service was great. First course was very good then came dinner. The food was delicious and they were completely accommodating to our food limitations (My wife is gluten intolerant and I'm keto).
