WORST PLACE EVER DO NOT GET TOWED BY THEM. They damaged the bottom of my vehicle and are not wanting to take responsibility for it. My mechanic called me after the driver who picked up my car yesterday (Nicholas) went to inspect the damage and said he started crying, so excuse me but if he thinks he's not responsible why is he going to cry about it ? The manager was not helpful at all of course they're not going to want to take responsibility because they're fucking assholes. DO NOT GO HERE and if they get dispatched through your AAA insurance try to get someone else because these people clearly don't know what they're doing and they don't care. Not sure why this place has mediocre rating. My car died at the grocery store parking lot and I decided to call a tow truck to take me to the local auto shop. Though it took an hour before the tow arrive, which I can only assume that they were already busy with other towing, The tow truck driver was very friendly and courteous. He was also careful when hauling my car to the auto repair shop. Transaction was smooth and service was quick and friendly. Though for a trip about a mile, it was pricier than I thought. Will I use/recommend this place for towing, definitely yes! Con't.... Used Mike's towing again tonight and I have to say my rating went up from 4 stars to 5 stars. Both drivers were very courteous and quick with their service. The second guy actually try to do another job on the way to the car dealer where I was trying to drop off my car. Car broke down and had to be towed into service. The issues were easily identifiable and the staff is well mannered.

Completely unprofessional. Recently, had my vehicle towed one block away ( barely a mile to the repair shop). The receptionist told me it would be $50 to tow. I verified the amount and the accepted payment methods. My husband went with the tow truck and when they arrived at the destination the driver requested a higher fee for the tow. When I called the office about the new fee the receptionist was rude. She placed me on hold and a man came to the phone. He begin to verbally assault me. Called me names and other derogatory remarks. Refused to tell me his name or position. The worse customer service ever! read more

horrible response times, nothing but continual issues in getting a truck to you in a reasonable amount of time... We called them two separate times 2 weeks ago for a truck to tow company vehicles, first one from Crowslanding rd and Hatch, it took them 1 1/2 hrs to get a truck to us, the second time from West Main and Poplar (East of Patterson) and it took them 2 1/2 hours to get a truck to us, Today I called and they said they were busy and it would be a couple of hours for a truck to come, that was fine, after contacting our mechanic to see what the issue was with our car he said the car had yet to arrive, I called back Mike's and they said they were still busy and we would be next on the list.... mind you almost 4 hours and they had yet to even dispatch a truck for us nor call us back and tell us there would be an even longer delay than what was first told. Called to get a tow truck on mchenry next to inshape, shangria-la Chinese bistro and pep boys basically all in the same parking lot. I had a flat called at 6:15 truck didn't get there until 7:10, charged me $50.00 to drive less then 30 seconds. I have heard negative things about this towing company before but, nothing like this. My brothers truck broke down three blocks from my house. The cops show up and decide to help. The cops called for a towing company, Mikes towing shows up and because my brother didn't have his AAA card with him they charged him $205.00 to tow it to my house, which it was three blocks away. The driver said it was because the cops called it in. I will never hire them again. And the driver, as rude as he can get. read more

My tire went out on highway 5 in Stockton at 10:30 at night and I was forced to pull over on the narrow shoulder of the freeway bridge. There was no space to change the tire. I called tow service after tow service but nobody could help me. Finally Mikes came to my rescue! He towed my car, changed my tire only to discover that the spare was flat so he filled that one too. Never again, horrible service. Called AAA and they dispatched them out for a simple flat tire, take off the flat and put on the spare. Guy comes out couldn't take the lug nuts off and then his jack was too small. If Raymond didn't want to do the work he should have taken the day off. Worst towing service EVER. Long story short. Called AAA because we needed a tow. Mike did everything he could not to give us a tow. Told us he couldn't give us a ride home because there wasn't room. If your car breaks down, how did he expect us to get home! It was 10pm. He was in a hurry probably because he had a women in the tow truck with him. Who knows? Real dishonest guy. When he had to give us a tow, he made a big sigh and called another tow truck to come tow our car! Lol who does this? A very unprofessional lazy boy! Never ever again! I'll NEVER call them again!! They're incapable of handling the easiest of Requests. I called day before to set an appointment or at least a window to have my car picked up from my elderly father's house and taken to a shop just around the corner from them, only about a 4 mile run. Instead I was told that he'd rather not do appointments, ok fine I call them at 8am next morning and a older gal said they'll be out in. 1 - 1 1/2 hrs....I said fine. 2 hrs go by I call, and was told I was next and truck will be there in about 45mins...Ok fine! Another 1 1/2 goes by, NO TRUCK! I call back and said this is BS!! Cancel the truck.... The driver was prompt and courteous. I believe his name was Tarell (might have the spelling wrong). He was incredible! I had an unusual scenario so it required some thought and a plan. He was conscientious, careful and took his time to make sure all was exact and precise as any deviation would have damaged my vehicle. He was just as careful with getting the vehicle off the truck. Called AAA for a roadside assistance tow. The AAA dispatcher told me a tow truck would be there within 45 minutes. The driver (Cody, I believe, was his name) showed up not even ten minutes later! AND he was the nicest tow truck driver I've ever had (trust me I've had quite a few). This tow company rocks it out! Whether I lock my keys in my car or I need a tow home, this company is always quick to get my needs met. I have had AAA for MANY years now and never did I get such a bunch of great tow services. I have to admit that I am a bit of a duh brain when it comes to my car. I've locked my keys inside, ran out of gas (dumb me) and gotten a flat and Mikes towing always came to the rescue. I always seem to get the same batch of drivers, (Ben, Daniel, or Rob, which is kind of embarrassing when I can now remember who they are!!) and they are always so nice and so quick to get me back on the road or back home! They even did a long haul tow for my cousin!! I don't know if all the reviews below are true, but maybe they just have better drivers now! The gal on the phone was friendly, the day was not too hot, I had shade to wait in, the tow truck was earlier than expected, the tow rate was reasonable ($40 for the first five miles, I think), the driver was friendly (Billy was his name), the truck had AC, and they take ATM/credit! I just did a AAA tow with them, and the lady on the phone was nice. But the driver was a compleat Ass! He told me he has been towing for 20 years and did not need advice. I just asked a simple qustion about the front bumper being so close to the grown and he gave me a shitty answer and just walked away. he was rud to my girlfriend and was a compleat ASS. Car battery went kaput and AAA dispatched this towing service. Took a bit longer than the 45 minutes estimated wait time, but that's okay because I was in a safe place. Service dude was very nice and professional. We ended up having to go to the shop on Bangs to have it installed, but that was okay too, because our finicky battery decided to work again long enough to drive there. It was installed quickly. I was almost killed by truck 1304 on Saturday night........He swerved into my car carrier at 55 mph, sent me careening out of control on highway 99 and then just said that he sneezed,causing him to drift into my lane.He then lied to his boss and tried to say it was my fault.The damage to his bumper and the location of the damage to my trailer tell the real story.I got resistance when I called the buisiness and spoke with the owner. If I would have hit the brakes,he could have killed me and my 14 year old son riding with me. BEWARE ! ......... I called AAA and they used Mikes towing. Mikes picked up vehicle from the house and I waited over an hour for car to arrive at designated drop off. He wasn't courteous enough to tell us he had a double tow which I found out from AAA after 40 minutes of waiting. Upon his arrival I suggested he tell the customers when he has double tows so we'll know. He told me he's not entitled to tell us nothing. If we would have known this we would have taken my daughters work stuff out and she wouldn't have been late to work. I had signed the paperwork at shop and could have left but we were waiting on vehicle. He withheld the keys when I asked for them until he was done barking his mouth. I placed a complaint with AAA which I've never had an issue in 40 years with a tow until now. Very unprofessional and rude. The driver towed my room mates car in the drive way and hit my car. Bad enough he said it was only a little bit of damage but when my teenage son went to his truck to get the phone number so I can report him, the drive told my kid to "step the fuck back from my truck". Now that seems to be very unprofessional for him to hit my car let alone curse at my son. I called the office and they said it was nothing big and that they couldn't do anything about it.
