Mike's Fish and Chips I had the 2 Fish and crab cake combo. First off, the fries are different and better. Didn't need much salt, and tons of crunch. She actually recommended the chicken so I hope this worked out. Second impression, the fish is great, better with the spicy sauce, eehh with the malt, and crazy good with tangy tarter. The fried crab cake is really good, even better with tarter. This tarter is soo good, I'll use the spicy cocktail with the fries. This place is a winner. read more

Yum. We had the five piece with chips. The place is a hole in the wall. Big dining area with a window that you place your order and pick up your food. It was good. I ordered a two piece fish, substitute slaw for fry's and add a small order of fried clams(Ala carte)I mean I could pick up the entire order in one fist.Added a 15% tip. and was charged 3% for using my card. $21.45. So 4 pieces of fish about 2 inches each and the fist full of clams and a sauce container full of slaw, no drink. for $21.45. Complete rip-off. Count me out, on repeat business. read more

From ocean blue floors to Marlins and other fish on the wall this restaurant is themed the part. It's clean and very comfy. Not what we were thinking when we pulled in to park. Country music playing the background gave it a nice home feel. The staff was really efficient, courteous, and friendly. Between my wife and I we ordered two shrimp tacos, a two-piece fish and chips, fried mushrooms, and jalapeño poppers. All of the food was excellent! The portions were large and everything was fairly priced. The fried mushrooms were my personal favorite - to die for! I ate them ALL and I didn't think I would because there we SO MANY of them...even in a half-order! This will definitely be a return spot for future trips! read more

Working up in Show Low from the valley I saw this joint on the way back to Mesa and I was in the mood for shrimp and chips. I like to support the local businesses and this place doesn't disappoint. Now this isn't a Pete's or Pirates FC, this place cooks SHRIMP!!! Available grilled or fried, I opted for fried with fries. I ate in the parking lot but the interior of this restaurant is nice and true to what a FC should be. When my order was ready the guy helping me out (who I believe was the owner) asked I would prefer the hotter sauce, HECK YEAH!!! The shrimp was cooked perfectly golden brown and the fries were a seasoned blend. Now the sauce was spicy, if you're a wimp lol. I had to add a Serrano Pepper to reach my spice level. But this place is BOMB!!! Highly recommended. Next time I have to try the fish. read more

The fish was awesome and chips were crispy and not over salted just my preference of course.had to try the shrimp and it was outstanding. The staff were very helpful with menu help and very nice warming people. Very relaxed atmosphere it appears the locals all know each other and very familiar with the staff as well. Excellent food! The batter is amazing. We had fish and chips, zucchini and mushrooms, and chicken nuggets. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Place was spotless. My son put over $5 into the toy claw machine trying to get my grand daughter a toy she had to have. Tasted like chemicals. The four shrimp were the smallest I've ever seen in a restaurant. For the dressing they used a cheap Walmart bottle of Kraft. Asked for a receipt.
