Wonderful food, atmosphere & staff. Sushi is always fresh and excellent. Vast menu of different entrees other than sushi. My favorite date night in Payson! read more

We were craving sushi and ramen after a long day of hiking. This place fit the bill! There's plenty of parking and there's plenty of seating in the dining area that can accommodate small groups. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy! The sushi was delicious and tasted fresh, but the ramen was on the salty side. Next time I'd like to try the pho! read more

Food is always good. You definitely need to try the tempura cheesecake. So good ! My favorite is stuffed Avocado under appetizer list!!

After being seated, our waitress wasn't very friendly and was showing a lot of attitude. Sushi and fried rice were mediocre. Crab stuffed avocado appetizer was the best thing we had to save this review from a 1 star. read more

K Sushi Bar has a nice atmosphere, good food and good service. I had the Bento Box with Beef Teriyaki and I liked that it also came with a salad, white rice, tempura shrimp & vegetables and 1 beef gyzo. My companion had sushi rolls and said they were very fresh. read more

. Service was phenomenal--and so was the sushi. My husband has been trying forever to get me to come here, and I was honestly very apprehensive about eating sushi in the desert (we just bought a cabin up in Pine). He had a really hard day and asked if we could go, and I finally said okay... holy guacamole, I am SO glad we did. The restaurant was extremely clean, and you could tell everyone working there truly knew what they were doing. The owner's daughter was amazing--so friendly and knowledgeable--and she gave us great recommendations on what to try next time. Even the cook came out to check on us. Everyone was attentive and welcoming. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for great service, and food, can't wait to come back read more

K Sushi Bar and Grill - Sadly, the only thing I took a picture of him holy guacamole, and this truffle dish was phenomenal - Sushi Bars Near Me - Payson, Arizona

For a sushi place in a small town in Arizona, we were shocked and amazed as to how fresh the sushi tasted. The tuna and salmon cuts were delicious. The place was clean and beautifully decorated and the service was so friendly and hospitable. They have a sushi roll named for each 50 US state which is kinda cool. It's a gem in the city of Payson. read more

Overpriced for poor quality sushi. Freezer burnt nigiri. Hard rice. Wouldn't go back. Made me feel sick.

RIPOFF! We got charged $9.90 for a pot of tea. When I asked about the charge, was told it was $4.50 per person, so since we got a cup for my wife the cost doubled. The food was only fair. Cost for a bento box went up to $23. THe food was only luke warm. NEVER GOING BACK. STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY. read more

We've eaten here several times since one of my favorite places to eat, although it is very pricey for sushi. I've eaten her many times and my son has eaten her with me most of those times and we've had no problems but the last time we ate here we both got food poisoning me minimally because I had one bite of his chicken cutlet and he ate half of it and took half of it home. It still sits in the refrigerator. He had food poisoning for over 48 hours. For 30 of those, he could not keep anything down. I contacted the restaurant and they said we have never been told we've had this happen before but I keep my receipts and I could tell them what table who my server was and what time I was there what I ordered and how much the total was and frankly for $91 I do not expect to get food poisoning. I heard back from management after a few days and they are refunding the meal. We will not be ordering the chicken cutlet again, but we will eat sushi and other dishes there as I said this is a regular place that we enjoy. read more

Probably the best and only sushi place I've been to in Payson that I've enjoyed! Right when you walked in, you'll see the 50 States themed sushi names. Plenty of options for your cravings. My husband and I shared the tonkatsu ramen and the Wisconsin sushi. I enjoyed the sushi very much! It was also recommended by our waitress. The ramen was okay-there was too much going on in one bowl and a bit too salty for me. If you like salty, this is your jam! Staff was great and friendly. Clean tables. Quick service. I'd come back again to try more of the sushi. read more

Luv this spot. Seaweed salad, so good. Cucumber sunomo, even better. They have rolls I've never seen in my decade of sushi, and plenty of kid-friendly options. The nigiri is portioned so well, and the truffle seared salmon is one of a kind. Also, they have REAL SAKE. They have all types of cold sake, from Sayuri (AKA Little Lilly) to Wakatake (Demon Slayer.) That's a big deal, especially outside of the valley. They also have more Ramune flavors than I've ever seen anywhere. Another great feature for kiddos :-) Staff is ALWAYS amazing. Service is quick, knowledgeable, and the staff is kind. Seriously K Sushi, I heart you read more

So pleasantly surprised. Who would've thought Payson would had the best sushi spot. Everything was so delicious, authentic and Sophie our waitress was super sweet. We will be back read more

Nice little spot in Payson. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with choices lol. Man they have some really fancy "50 states" rolls. Named after 50 states - as good as they looked and I would have loved to try we had to pass because they have a killer happy hour. The 50 states is excluded and they seem to range from $13-$19 a roll Happy hour you got 2 basic rolls for $14.95 total. So I picked two and my husband picked two. Y'all she brought our food and I thought she messed up our order because it was a lot of food. Looks more like 8 rolls. We got spicy tuna, spicy snapper, salmon, - all raw and one cooked one! Both of our favorite roll from our choices- the salmon skin roll! It was delicious. Try it. To finish we got a tempura fried cheesecake! It was amazing! You can not leave without trying it! I'm not even a big sweets person..... and I'm in love with this cheesecake read more

We had a surprisingly good time and a very tasty meal at K. Who knew that there would be a great sushi restaurant in Payson AZ? We do now! Just a bit of background. Ive been enjoying sushi since the eighties, and living here in southern California, we have many great sushi restaurants nearby. We also spent a month in Japan a year ago, and feel like we got quite a good taste for Japanese cuisine. So back to K, We each ordered several dishes and enjoyed them all. From basic rolls to the fancy "state" rolls, all good. And the tempura veggies were as good as I've had anywhere. The service was attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the atmosphere fine, but given that it is a really good restaurant open late in Payson, that is just a bonus. Highly recommended! read more

Sushi + Payson= you think NO WAY!! This establishment is my new favorite sushi restaurant in AZ! The tea was fresh and was refreshing. Not only are the rolls large, the meat portions are above average! We got the garlic edamame was a good start to our rolls. We got the Tennessee, West Virginia and Rhode Island. Jade was our waitress and made suggestions about the fresh wasabi, changed our entire experience with sushi into next level! Family/small town vibes with upscale sushi experience! Several people seemed to be regulars/familiar to staff. We can't wait for it to cool down so we can try the Pho and Ramen. 101/10!!! read more

Great food, great service (Thank You, Chris!) + peach sake! Casual ambiance so come as you are. Once you walk in, you're greeted immediately with a smile, even if there aren't any tables available at that moment. The wait, if any, is never long but they always have a steady flow of customers. The customer service here is so amazing, you'd think each employee were part owners of the restaurant! Chris remembers us, our drink orders & makes great recommendations. This is a regular joint for us. My husband loves sushi but me, not so much. Their grill menu is epic & I've never had a bad meal here, EVER! Start with the gyoza. You're welcome. read more

A pleasant surprise at this gem. Stopped by at this place after a snowboard trip to Sunrise ski park. To be absolutely honest I didn't have a high expectation (sorry) only because I thought "it's a restaurant in some small town" (again, sorry) but I was wrong!!! Everything I ate was so delicious! They have so many different types of rolls and I like the fact that they name them as each state. It's easy to remember that way. Service was great as well. They not only have sushi but also have some Korean dishes and a pho. If I'm in Payson again, I will for sure go to this place! My favorite was stuffed avocados! read more

This restaurant is located in Payson, AZ. We didn't know what to expect from this place, but as soon as we walked in the restaurant, we were surprised to see an Asian sushi chef at the sushi bar! It immediately made us feel comfortable, now we know, we will have authentic Asian food! And to our hearts delight, every single food we ordered was amazing!! It made me feel like going back to Payson just to eat here! I rarely give 5 star, but with this place, I didn't hesitate! The service was great, even my husband mentioned that everything in this restaurant was great. Can't wait to go back and I highly recommend this place if you like Japanese cuisine. read more

Just wow! Didn't expect to find such delicious Japanese restaurant in Payson. Two bentos we tried were absolutely perfect. So fresh, I could tell nothing was prepared ahead of time. Teriyaki sauce was spot on and tempura was perfectly hot and crispy. The salad was delicious too; ginger dressing was so refreshing! Everything had lots of flavor without being salty. We also overheard other patrons loving their sushi/sashimi. Will have to try it next time. This will be our go to from now on when visiting Payson. Service was excellent. The interior was nice and cozy too. Highly highly recommend!!! read more

What a pleasant surprise in Payson! This sushi place knows how to serve good sushi and other food on their menu. The chef even gave us complimentary sushi which were oh so silky delicious. My tea was heavenly- even mochi in several flavors were so right for the summer heat. The ambiance was quiet since we got there as soon as they opened at 11am. One of the Korean owners was so gracious I made him smile as I said "gamsahabnida" as I walked out. 4.90 stars- always a couple more points for perfection to inspire you more! read more

We ordered Bento boxes, and unfortunately, the chicken was tough, dry, and overcooked--completely inedible. The waitress spoke to a manager and then tried to take our entire meal away to replace the chicken. We were still eating the salad at that point. Instead of offering a fresh dish, she had us scoop out the bad chicken ourselves, which felt very awkward. The replacement chicken wasn't any better--it was just as dry and hard. To top it off, there was no offer of a discount or any form of compensation. The manager came over after we paid and was quite rude. We won't be returning. read more

Super clean food, and restaurant. Very authentic. Sushi as good as Scottsdale high end. Ramen and Pho are superb.

Both young ladies that were working gave exceptional service with sweet smiles, and eager to help. We stopped by to have the lunch special, the teriyaki chicken and the sesame honey chicken.
