Great service, ambiance, and food! 10/10 would recommend the wings. The pulled pork sandwich was also delicious. Don't forget the sweet potato fries!

There aren't many choices for food in Pine, but fortunately this is one of them. I've been here several times and the food and drinks are always good. The service is also super friendly and when it's warm enough the patio is dog friendly. I don't even have a preference to recommend or any to avoid because I've liked it all.

We've been coming here for years and have always had a great experience. Service is great. Ambiance is rustic modern. The food is so good. Everything we've tried. No complaint. One of our favorite places in Pine.

Our server Tyler was great. Seemed like he was the only one serving all the tables, but he was quick and made sure our drinks were full during the 40 minute wait for food. It was worth the wait though, some of the best burgers we've ever had! I got the PBJ - love the peanut butter. Jelly and bacon combo. I did take the lettuce, onion, and tomato off. I like those toppings but not on this burger. The French fries were incredible and so was the buttermilk ranch. My husband got the Cowboy and he really liked it.

My friend enjoys the fish and chips. My BLT had a good amount of bacon, but I prefer hot bacon since the contrast of hot bacon and cold T&L is part of the appeal. Also disliked being charged more than what is on the menu ($15 on menu and $17 on my bill). To go cobbler tasted good when warmed, but seemed to be the last scoop and NOT visually appealing.

Wonderful place! Delicious burgers, fries and their nachos were delicious and large portions. Service was very quick. The staff were friendly. This is a place where you definitely want to stop at if you are in the neighborhood.

Sunday 17 Nov. 2024 Pinewood Tavern is OPEN, all seven day too! Haven't been in to eat since my last time there merited only two stars. I'm looking forward to going over for dinner later: I hope the new ownership's menu - and food ! - will be great and delicious. I can't post a review because Yelp says closed.

Pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. Both amazing. Best onion rings I've had. Ranch great too.

Pastrami sandwich is fantastic. Fries great. Wings crispy. Blue cheese great. Reasonable prices. Open 7 days now with new owners which is super smart.

Solid bar food. We liked the deviled eggs (too spicy for my kiddo). The Pine French dip was good. I had a bite of the Tavern Burger and it was a solid burger. I'd skip the onion rings next time - the panko breading was too heavy for me. I was also disappointed that the Bloody Mary didn't come with bacon (even thought it says that on the menu). All in all, I'd go again.

Don't mind the Yelp hours for Open business. They are open! We visited this weekend and this is the best place with the best food and burger hands down! I should've taken pictures, but I was starving and their french fries are amazing! I also notified the Business yesterday because they're under new ownership and they need to update the hours on Yelp!

On our way home to Prescott from Winslow today, we decided to take highway 87 and check out the little town of Pine. We are so glad that we did and that we discovered the Pinewood Tavern! First of all, the bartender, Savannah, was awesome! Then we shared the Cowboy burger, which was the best burger that I have had in a long time! Perfectly seasoned, and perfectly cooked. I'm so glad we shared as it was huge. I would drive here again from Prescott for this burger! Thanks, Pinewood Tavern, for restoring my faith in getting a good burger.

We both had sunny side up eggs, bacon, hash browns, corned beef hash, delicious fluffy pancakes and bottomless coffee. Everything was piping hot and delicious. They also have a full menu for lunch and dinner. The burgers served at the table next to us looked awesome. This place reminded us of a typical diner back east in New Jersey: happy servers, plentiful and delicious hot and fresh food, great coffee and fresh baked home made pie. So if you find yourself in Payson and need a great meal with a family friendly vibe, go to Crosswinds. They have plenty of free parking too.

As for the food, it was a bit hit or miss. The bacon was delicious, but the chicken fried steak left a lot to be desired. It had a very flour-heavy taste and not much flavor overall. I wouldn't order that again. The French toast was pretty good, though nothing especially memorable. We grabbed a few pies to go and are looking forward to trying them. I'll update my review once we've had a chance to taste those. Overall, I wouldn't say the food was "great," but the unique airport atmosphere and good service made it a decent experience.

I had coffee, which was delicious and he had hot tea. In addition we ordered a strawberry waffle and split it!!! The waffle was the lightest airy waffle that 8 have ever had! It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. This waffle literally melted in your mouth like it was cotton candy! Every part of the meal was great, with one exception. When we got the bill, with a 20% tip, it was just over $54.00!!! Okay, that's $27.00 per person, for breakfast!!! Yes, I know that prices are high everywhere but come on! $27.00 per person for eggs, potatoes and such! That's a bit much I think! Although the waffle was the best that I've had, it simply isn't worth the $11.00 they charge for it! I remember Tiny's being the place to go for a very reasonably priced meal that was good! I know that I'm living in the past when it comes to price, but this seems to be a trend amongst restaurants when it comes to breakfast meals! At this cost, it's more than most other restaurants lunch costs. Although it saddens me, I won't be going back for breakfast anytime soon, or at least until they get the pricing right! My wife and I spent a week in the Payson area and we wanted to enjoy some really good food, so the Old Country Inn was on our radar. Pine is a unique town with a lot of natural beauty, so we sat on the patio. The highway was busy, but that didn't matter because it was a gorgeous day. Our server Joyce was great. She made recommendations and helped us select the Burrata Pie based on her description. It did not disappoint. I wish I had taken a photo of the whole pizza before we ate the entire thing. Several things stood out. The crust is soooooo good. The char from the wood-fired oven was perfect. The pepperoni was also the best I've ever tried. Now add the dollops of Burrata Cheese, hot honey, fresh basil, and cracked pepper. Best. Pizza. Ever! I've enjoyed the numerous varieties of pizza that are available. And I've eaten at that famous one in Phoenix. Sorry, but I would choose the pie that requires a four-hour round trip over the local fav. Make the drive and you won't be disappointed!
