    old nachos reheated

We are residents of Pine and have eaten here a few times. Food and service has been decent and didn't have big expectations. tonight took two friends in tonight and have nothing good to say. nothing they were busy but not packed. plenty of staff but NOT one of the servers were friendly or accommodating. Our server didn't even bring straws for our water until after the first appetizer was served. deviled eggs . pretty good but not spectacular ordered nachos and prime sandwich and two salads eggs came, sandwich came, salads came. no check in from server. nachos came. cold, no cheese and gross asked another server to get us another plate of nachos that and were HOT and had cheese she rolled her eyes, took our plate and said "i'll tell your server". News flash !!!! you represent the establishment YOU should apologize and immediately correct the situation!!! we finished all our other food and we're going to cancel the nachos but they came back out. It was our original order!!! threw it under the salamander (oven) took 15 minutes!! Sorry but you lost our vote to ever eat here again

Really good meal. We started with cocktails and the Old Fashioned was very good and the sip I had of the Mule was very good as well. Our starters were the rings, tasty, and the Wings. The hot sauce was great and the crispy wings were excellent. My wife got the dip. Very solid sandwich. My bite came late, so it may have been even better when it was hot. I got the pastrami burger. Very tasty. Overall a very good meal.

Our waitress was awesome and quick kitchen !! Delicious clean experience

Our waitress was awesome. Super nice about my custom chicken sandwich request and fast service. The food was hot crispy and delicious. Exceeding our expectations on size portion. It was delicious. The green chili fries were sooooo delicious! Our pastrami burger and chicken sandwich was also beyond our expectations for flavor and juicy tender meat. The bathrooms and tables were clean and the whole place just had a nice decor and charm to it. Kind of made we want to move there. Definitely will be returning to try more menu items

Good spot for a burger if you're looking for a pub vibe or stopping in for lunch. There's a classic style burger and multiple specialty burger options - all come with your choice of fries, coleslaw, macaroni salad, or potato salad or an up charge for sweet potato fries, onion rings, or side salad. I had the Tavern classic which comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. My husband had the Ole Blue which comes with blue cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions. Both burgers had a nice grilled char to them. The fries were pretty good as well. Recommend stopping by if you're wanting to grab a burger in the area.

There aren't many choices for food in Pine, but fortunately this is one of them. I've been here several times and the food and drinks are always good. The service is also super friendly and when it's warm enough the patio is dog friendly. I don't even have a preference to recommend or any to avoid because I've liked it all.

We've been coming here for years and have always had a great experience. Service is great. Ambiance is rustic modern. The food is so good. Everything we've tried. No complaint. One of our favorite places in Pine.

Pinewood Tavern was a real surprise as we don't expect much from bar food, but our dinner there recently was amazing! Everything was so good! We had the deviled eggs, pulled pork nachos, wings, and a blue cheese burger. It was all perfect! I don't normally like deviled eggs, but there were a few of us & we were sharing everything, so I tried one & discovered I really liked their deviled eggs. I liked the bacon touch they added & the spicy Chipotle mayo sauce was so good. Wings were cooked so nicely...light, nicely seasoned crisp to the outside, tender/juicy inside. Buffalo sauce was really good too. Their pulled pork nachos were amazing with all the layers of flavor. The portion is also huge! We definitely had to take most of it home. The blue cheese burger was perfectly cooked with a really good quality blue cheese. Came with a side salad & the blue cheese dressing was definitely a nice one. All this, plus drinks (soda & wine) for 3 came in under $100, which was also a surprise! Definitely a good place to grab a good, very well cooked dinner in Pine.

Our server Tyler was great. Seemed like he was the only one serving all the tables, but he was quick and made sure our drinks were full during the 40 minute wait for food. It was worth the wait though, some of the best burgers we've ever had! I got the PBJ - love the peanut butter. Jelly and bacon combo. I did take the lettuce, onion, and tomato off. I like those toppings but not on this burger. The French fries were incredible and so was the buttermilk ranch. My husband got the Cowboy and he really liked it.

My friend enjoys the fish and chips. My BLT had a good amount of bacon, but I prefer hot bacon since the contrast of hot bacon and cold T&L is part of the appeal. Also disliked being charged more than what is on the menu ($15 on menu and $17 on my bill). To go cobbler tasted good when warmed, but seemed to be the last scoop and NOT visually appealing.

Great service, ambiance, and food! 10/10 would recommend the wings. The pulled pork sandwich was also delicious. Don't forget the sweet potato fries!

Solid bar food. We liked the deviled eggs (too spicy for my kiddo). The Pine French dip was good. I had a bite of the Tavern Burger and it was a solid burger. I'd skip the onion rings next time - the panko breading was too heavy for me. I was also disappointed that the Bloody Mary didn't come with bacon (even thought it says that on the menu). All in all, I'd go again.

Wonderful place! Delicious burgers, fries and their nachos were delicious and large portions. Service was very quick. The staff were friendly. This is a place where you definitely want to stop at if you are in the neighborhood.

We were seated quickly and started deciding what we were going to order; drinks came fairly quickly, my Moscow Mule was good and gingery, the others had the brewery's own ale beer. Our server Americus was absolutely wonderful: as usual I explained my severe allergy to peppers in general and specifically any type of chile. She went inside to consult their "allergy" food list and came back with what I could safely eat. She's the only person ever, here in AZ, to have gone and double-checked the various dishes to keep me safe. Thank you so much Americus :)) We shared the fried green beans - deliciously crispy :) - with the wasabi mayonnaise dip for them; also had the onion rings that were nice and crispy, and although tempting to get a second order of appetizers ....we decided to go on to the mains. Mine was the Patty Melt on rye and fries, cooked medium rare as I like it, with onions on the side, the other orders were the Whisky Bacon burger that was looking very good as well, and another diner had a big salad - not sure which TBH because I was busy eating ...oops! The evening was nice and the patio had a few dogs: Yes, it is dog friendly !! We left sated, with replenished growlers, and looking forward to next time.

During our time outside, we did see elk across the street and our waitress said that sometimes they come right up to the patio fence. Super cool. We ordered a flight of beer, coconut shrimp and the August food special : Quesabirrias. The beer was decent and both food items were good. Jaime was our waitress and was very nice and helpful. They usually have live music on the weekends and make homemade cobbler everyday which I really wanted to try but was to full.

Each time everyone has been super friendly, going above and beyond to chat about some of their favorite things to do around this area and/or chatting about whatever topic we land on. Last year I stopped by and got their coffee, and it was underwhelming; BUT we stopped by twice this year while visiting and it was a stellar improvement. I am very particular with my espresso/lattes and really enjoyed mine this time around! There are lots of choices of flavors, however, I think something that could really help improve the coffees even more would be some homemade syrup! Thank you Sip for a great time. We ordered a double smash burger with bacon (an extra $2 charge) along with tomatoes, lettuce, and onion. The burger arrived with no bacon and none of the listed veggies. We also ordered a triple smash burger with cheddar cheese and tomatoes, lettuce, and onion -- again, none of the veggies were included. We also ordered a mashed potato bowl with chicken, corn, and brown gravy, but there was no brown gravy in it at all. Even though a lot of our order was missing, I will say the food itself still tasted good. The biggest issue, however, was the customer service. The young girl working there, who looked to be around 16 years old, was extremely rude and snotty. When I asked for plastic utensils, she replied, "We do not have any." I asked how we were supposed to eat mashed potatoes and gravy without utensils, and she shrugged and said, "Ma'am, we are a bar, we do not have it." I responded that I've ordered takeout from many bars before and they always provide plastic utensils. She then sarcastically replied, "Good for you, have a nice day." I tried speaking with who I believed was the manager (he nodded when I asked if he was), and while I was explaining the issue, the young employee continued interrupting and talking over me. Another waitress overheard the conversation and quickly returned with plastic utensils, proving they did in fact have them available. The employee then changed her story, saying she "didn't know" if they had utensils and claimed she was super sweet to me(not rude). There is no reason an employee should be speaking to customers this way. She clearly needs additional customer service training before handling customer interactions on her own.
