We came in to watch the NBA game after we went to BRUZZI. Sat at the bar. The waitstaff was so nice and so incredibly attentive. They switched the TV to the game and turned on the sound. Everything on the menu was so fairly priced and the drinks were really great. We ended up both getting the NY strip. Great piece of meat cooked to the exact right temperature. They also cook their fries in beef tallow which that alone would make me rate this place with 5 stars. Everyone should go to this place if you're going through Young AZ! read more

99.99% excellent every time.....you get what you pay for !!! Portions are pretty good.

My wife, 9 month old, and I went up to Young, AZ for valentine's weekend and visited Antler's Cafe & Grill. We wanted to get away and escape the business of the city life and we had such a beautiful and authentic small-town experience. It wouldn't have been the same without our 2 separate visits to Antler's. Thank you to all the staff and people who made our experience so pleasant and amazing. Can't wait to be back! FOOD: We got the 4 course meal for Valentine's day which included the BEST bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, broccoli cheddar soup, and 14oz NY strip steak with baked potato, only to top it off with some brown sugar cinnamon apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream. YUM YUM YUM all the way across the board. The next day for lunch we both got the Diamond Quality Beef burgers and boy oh boy were they worth it! Best grass-fed burgers I think I've ever had. So full of flavor! I got the Signature Burger with jalepeno coleslaw and fries on the side and my wife got a regular cheeseburger with fries. Make sure you get the burger with pink in it because it is SOOO tasty and full of flavor! We also got the Crispy Fish Tacos with the corn and the Butter Pecan Chicken which was perfectly moist and had an incredible sweet/savory taste to it! To top lunch off we got the Butter Cake and this was hands down the best butter cake I've ever had. DO NOT FORGET TO ORDER IT (like I almost did)! SERVICE: Not only was the food awesome, but EVERYONE there was so kind and welcoming. Our server Jennifer was so kind and sweet and helped us out when our baby was getting fussy and Jen, one of the kitchen staff, and Amy (owner) were all rotating taking turns holding him and playing with him so we could enjoy our food! SUCH AMAZING PEOPLE & SERVICE!! ATMOSPHERE: Everyone was so warm. Small town kindness and warmth everywhere you turned. I LOVED that they had 2 sides you could sit at, a family side and the bar side (which also had AMAZING live music). EVERY staff member that made eye contact with us came to say hello. EVERYONE had a smile on their face. And the atmosphere had to have been one of the warmest and welcoming a restaurant could offer. We also so appreciated the section on the family side with children's books and toys and provides such a wonderful experience for families to be able to get food and relax while the kiddos have their own section to stay busy. We also had a chance to meet the owners Clay and Amy, because they were going around table to table to say hello and chat with the customers. read more

I recently had one of the better burgers here than I've had in a long time. Young is such a great place to spend a day or two, really were surprised by what's hidden back there in this small little community. read more

Ambiance is awesome, inside decor is rustic Western, I have never had a bad meal there, every Friday is Fish Day, the Cowboy Stir Fry is great too. The manager is drop dead gorgeous and very pleasant, the head chef knows his craft extremely well, parking is ample they will entertain large groups as well as individual patrons, the wait staff are quick, efficient and friendly. On the outside posts are Elk antlers top to bottom. Very worth the drive through the Tonto and Seagraves national forests to get here read more

Really good food, this family run eatery is one of the few places in town to grab a meal so I ate here over my weeks visit a few times and everything I tried was very good to really good. This establishment is cash only. This is true comfort food, done right. There are a lot of options for most tastes, from great local beef burgers and fries to huge salads and several plate choices as well. My first trip in I went for the Merles Rueben, this is a seriously good corned beef sandwich piled thick with lean flavorful corned beef and then topped with cheese and thousand island on toasted bread. I have eaten a lot of ruebens over the years and this one is up there. True classic and true to definition, this is a Rueben done right. This eatery also has great house made desserts daily, so I had to try the blueberry apple cobbler with ice cream. It was excellent a great combo of sweet, tart fruit, pastry and ice cream. On another trip I went for one of the huge house specialty salads this one was loaded with a mountain of leafy greens and micro greens, along with sliced tomato, fresh jalepeno slices, guacamole, and then a local Diamond beef pattie topped with melted pepperjack cheese. With the dressing on the side. This is a great salad, filling and an excellent combination of textures, flavors and ingredients. Definitely a winner. This cafe is a hub in the community, and runs short weeks (thurs-sun?) only open a portion of the week. The staff are all friendly and kind, the owner on site and always checking on customers. Definitely worth a stop and support. 4.5 Stars rounded up for the engaged ownership and staff 00865 read more

Way off the beaten path, lies this gem. I've eaten many burgers from around the world, none, hold a candle to "Their signature burger" it's simply amazing in every way. They even raise and process their own grass fed beef! Add the amazing homemade butter cake dessert, service, atmosphere, and, price, it seems almost unbelievable in this day and age. This place is worth the trip, you're missing out if you pass this up. read more

Small town restaurant and bar. Yes this is a real restaurant, great quality and portions, this does come at a fair price. I love the Hebe, cheese steak sandwich and fried mushrooms. We always try to grab one meal each time we go to young. Call ahead to verify open hours, hunting seasons and town events affect days and hours of operation. Very friendly people, very easy to get to know them here, open and welcoming. read more

Wonderful country restaurant & bar situated in the small town of Young, AZ along the Globe-Young Highway just down from the Sierra Ancha mountains. Rustic lodge like interior, friendly people, good eats and a couple of old wood stoves cranking out the heat on cold days! Our group of Jeepers had camped up in the Sierra Ancha mountains Saturday night before breaking camp Sunday morning and diving into Young specifically for lunch at Antlers. The warm and welcoming Antlers environment made for a much needed stopover before hitting the dusty road back through the mountains toward Globe. Enjoyed my meal and will definitely stop in again when passing through Young. read more

Excellent food and service. We had the grass-fed hamburgers, French dip, and the green chili burrito bowl special. Everything was fresh. Our young waiter, Joseph, was the best. read more

I was in the area for work and was told this was the spot to grab a bite. Well I am thankful out team did go on 5/19! Had the steak sandwich that was just awesome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My lunch that day made it very difficult 160 mile trip home that afternoon because of the food coma I got. I also did get a homemade cobbler apple and blueberry to go. I was able to enjoy that later that evening, good stuff. read more

Got dinner here one night while staying in town. This place was by far one of the best small town restaurants I've ever been to. Everything on the menu sounded yummy. Eventually I decided on a salad because I wanted something light & I'm glad I did. It was a berry and nut salad that I added chicken too. It tasted so fresh and the dressing was delicious. It seems that most there were satisfied and frequent visitors. Staff was so friendly it felt like having dinner at a good family friends house. We plan on coming back up to stay and I'd definitely come back here. read more

Friendly bar and staff. Great food from the kitchen. Justin at the bar greeted me and pour me a refreshing drink. He even remembered my name the next day I came in. Antlers personifies small town Young, AZ, where locals eat as do the many visitors, vacationers, and outdoors lovers. Daily food specials are announced on social media, Instagram and Facebook (maybe more?). They have great burgers and steaks. Kolie's Mac and cheese was good too - bring a big appetite for this dish. One side is cafe style where you may choose to eat in a quieter environment with your family. The other side is the bar, where they also server food and have tables and high top tables. Cash business. They do have an ATM onsite. Great little place to eat or have a drink when in Young, AZ. read more

We happened to be passing through Young, AZ (our annual family camping trip) with my father-in-law, and he was all "Hey, Antlers is open again! That was a great restaurant!" So, we stopped for dinner. It's apparently under new management. I can't say it was the best hamburger I've ever had, but it was easily in the top 5. The fries were easily in the top 5 too, and I am generally not a fries person. Our waiter (I am so bad with names, but he said his parents were the new owners) was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere/ambience was great too. Totally worth the trip into Young. read more
