The fries are fine, the dessert is meh at best, the place is small, but none of that really matters because the burger was incredible. My wife also got the chicken sandwich which was excellent as well. The lady inside was super nice; she was the only person on staff so she was very busy but thorough whenever we talked with her. The place is located in a little strip plaza so it's easy to completely miss when you pull in. It's the kind of place you dream about while traveling: a little unremarkable, modest hole in the wall that you could easily walk right by, but has the best food you've ever eaten.

We later discovered it had also been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The staff were extremely friendly, and we were greeted right away when we walked in. It's a semi-quick-service setup--you order at the register, your food is brought to you, and you pay after you've finished. We ordered the wings and burgers, and both were delicious! Overall, it's a great spot for a quick, casual lunch with friendly service and tasty food.

Mexican food and Mexican food trucks everywhere especially where I live Coachella valley. Honestly wasn't really too pleased with most of the food offerings in the keys. So when we decided on this I was fine with it because it seemed simple and hard to mess up. And yeah it was what I expected and I was happy with it . Service was somewhat quick. Prices can't remember but probably your typical prices for Mexican food truck food. I've eaten a lot of Mexican food and this was nothing amazing but I'm sure most people will like it when trying it. I did.

Had the chicken and steak tacos, bean burrito and horchata. Chicken was the best, steak was a bit overcooked and dry, bean burrito could have had more beans than cheese in it but was a good size, horchata was a bit gritty and not smooth in texture or flavor as I would usually like it. Their hot sauce is actually very spicy which is good alone or mixed with their other milder sauces. There was only a few people and bit of a wait in between taking orders. From start to finish, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Being next to the high school, I can see it getting busy during their lunch break so they text their order ahead of time since they don't have much time on their break and would probably spend most of it waiting in line to order or waiting for food. They were already busy with somewhat big orders with just a handful of people there. Maybe someday they can advance to an ordering app to make it more efficient. I too would like to just order ahead and not have to wait as long. Maybe I can try the text to order next time. Night time can be very dark with little lighting in this area. Their 2nd location at the brewery is a good setup since people can buy their time looking around at art, listening to music, staying indoors at the brewery or drinking beers while waiting for their food. They're doing good for being open less than a week! Solid Mexican fast food especially since there aren't many Mexican options around this area at all. There's more Cuban options, which are good also if you're looking for some Latin food around here. They do have benches and tables for seating. Limited parking when school is in session.

I ordered The Turtle Breakfast with eggs over easy, added an extra egg, sausage, and bacon, and swapped the toast for a side of biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly. The bacon was thick-cut, salty goodness, the sausage was packed with flavor, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The sausage gravy was some of the best I've had, rich, hearty, and loaded with flavorful sausage. Whether you're staying in Islamorada or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Green Turtle Inn for breakfast. It's a great way to start the day in the Keys.

This was our third time giving this restaurant a chance, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. We were seated, received our coffee right away, and then no one checked on us for about 25 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. What made the experience even more disappointing was watching every other table receive attentive service, water, and condiments without asking. We were the only Hispanic guests, and the difference in treatment was hard to ignore. Whether intentional or not, it left us feeling unwelcome. From the hostess to the servers, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. There are much better restaurants in the area where guests are treated with respect. We won't be recommending Green Turtle Inn or returning.
