Shrimp pesto grilled cheese sandwich
Pat R.

3 years ago on my reword of Islamorada beer I mentioned that on site food would be an awesome addition to their compound. Our prayers have been answered in the form of a movable feast! This place fully fits the bill! I had the pesto grilled cheese and it was amazing! The bread was perfectly toasted. The fillings were well proportioned and tasty. The shrimp was cooked properly and soft and the pesto sauce was right on the money. Liz and Tony are great owners and passionate about their business as it shows in their food. I am honestly not a huge fan of grilled-cheese sandwiches however I would love to have opportunities to eat another one of these. It's a great symbiotic relationship as their food compliments their neighbors beer. Eat with confidence.

Tony was absolutely the best! We had a destination wedding in Key Largo at the Largo resort and given COVID we did not get a chance to go see our site or meet any vendors. Being in Indiana we had to shop online and cross our flingers, but we found A Moveable Feast and talking through what we wanted Tony made us feel we were at the right place even though we could not try any of his tacos. Tony gave us his suggestions and Wow! did our guest rave about the food! Korean pork belly tacos were our absolute favorite. It was AMAZING food and GREAT service!! it was everything we wanted and more!

Perfectly situated at Islamorada Beer Companies beer garden.

We hired Tony and his crew for a pre-wedding dinner. He was great to work with and the guests loved the sliders! Highly recommended!

Chef Wes and Lluvia were absolutely amazing! I wish I was a better writer to describe everything…read moremore than "amazing" and "the most delicious thing I've ever eaten" but I don't. Instead I will tell you to just go ahead and boom Chef Wes. We booked him for my dad's birthday. He called to help with the menu because everything on his website sounds divine. And I said that. While we originally picked like 8+ items from each course, we ended up with 3 appetizers, soup, salad, surf n turf, and dessert. It was too much food but there is not a single item I wouldn't order again. We had coconut shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, and tuna cups for appetizers. I don't even like shrimp that much but omg he may have converted me. Or ruined me because no shrimp will ever come close to tasting that good. The second course was cuban black bean soup and wow! I could've finished with these 4 things and still given a raving review. We weren't planning on soup because it was so hot but I'm so glad we did! Make sure to get the cuban black bean soup. Then we had Watermelon salad that was the perfect amount of fresh fruit over mixed greens and a balsamic dressing. Yum! Our entree was surf and turf. Since we didn't catch anything fishing, Chef Wes picked up fresh Mahi Mahi and topped it with a delicious salsa. The filet was cooked to buttery perfection. The green beans were so garlicky and crunchy and delicious. We had potatoes that we thought would be a nice addition but we're actually seasoned amazingly and was one of the best surprises of the entree. Then when many of us were stuffed to the brim because it was all so good and we couldn't stop eating, we had the Mangoes morada. Fresh Mangoes over ice cream topped with cinnamon sugar almonds and a grand Marnier and chocolate drizzle. The cherry on top of a perfect evening. Chef and Lluvia were just so friendly. We really enjoyed their conversation during our m3al. They timed courses well. We had a few breaks to rest between the later courses and a bit longer before dessert. Lluvia left our rental spotless. She was just so great. I cannot say anything better about our experience for the night. Make sure to book Chef Wes for any meal while you are in the keys. He is worth every penny. Thank you for such a great experience!

Our appetizer was called lobster in the reef-lobster in tempura on a bed of seaweed salad. Yum! The salad was nicely done filled with nuts, cheese and pears. Sides were mushroom risotto and asparagus with the most superb yellowtail fish with a mango salsa and banana topping. So unique and the flavors were robust. We had to take a slight break before diving into the lava cake finale. Good thing we have days left to rest after this wonderful food coma. Thank you to Chef Wes and Jenn.

From the first communication to the day of the party, I felt at ease that our party would be a success and the food would be delicious. Ale is incredibly professional and flexible, he answered all my questions, and made sure our event was memorable. The day of the event he showed up on time, with everything ready. He was courteous and flexible with his time. Most of all, the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests were very impressed with the food and the service. Many of them commented on how they would be giving Ale's Paella a call for their own event. Thank you Ale's Paella for a great experience. We will definitely be calling you again.

Hired Ale's Paella for a company picnic at CB Smith park. They setup at the wrong pavilion and…read morestarted cooking. Did not ask for our contact person. Did not confirm they were in the right place. We tried calling them with no answer. A stranger from the other pavilion saw our name and number on the order form and called us because Ale's employee could not speak English to communicate with her. Once everyone realized the error and that they were at the wrong place, the food could not be moved so we had to wait for the food to completely cook and had to drive to that pavilion to pickup our very costly cooked food. Horrible experience. No paella show for our employees as we'd hoped and then showed very little remorse nor offered any sort of discount after the whole mess. Will never use them or refer them and have a lot I plan to say on social media. CB Smith really needs to consider removing them from their approved vendor listing that they require you to work with. This one was a joke. Find someone more qualified and that respectfully, can communicate with you. Only reason I am giving two stars is because the Paella was ok once we finally got it.
