I had been a faithful customer to Mike's for 5 years. I don't know what changed but when I called about getting my breaks pads replaced, mind you I had all the parts, and the guys said his labor was $200. Just for break pads! When I asked why so much his response was "because that's how much I charge" and hung up. Seriously?!?! I found another shop that had better customer service and far better pricing. read more

Needed my state inspection today and a bulb replaced. He did the inspection and when he found out he didn't have the bulb I needed he ordered it on the spot and had it there in 15 minutes. Spent some time answering questions I had about other issues I'm having with my car and was very patient and friendly throughout the whole service. My car has been having issues accelerating as quickly as it used to and he gave me some insight as to what it may be but told me he wouldn't want to give me any unnecessary repairs until he knew for sure what it was that caused it. Good honest guys that charge very reasonable rates and offer quick and efficient service. I'll be doing business exclusively with them for whatever I need in the future and will most likely return to them for these other fixes I hopefully won't need soon. read more

I brought in my truck to get my struts replaced and it was a great experience. Laith who helped me was extremely nice and friendly. They also did my oil change and state inspection which I requested and recommended I get my brakes done. I stopped by to check them out and upon looking at how bad they were I had them do those as well. They didn't hit me with any unexpected fees or try to sell me anything I didn't need. They were very honest and even gave me a ride to work after having to uber in to sign some papers. I will definitely come back and use them again! read more

Mikes auto shop has amazing customer service. I went there to get my brakes and oil changed. As I was sitting in the waiting area the AC was out and it was hot but they were so sweet and accomdating that he brought out a bigger fan to keep me cool. They made sure to check on me every so often and even offered me a beverage. I felt very comfortable and just watched a movie on my phone as they worked on my car. So I took my vehicle to this place and I would not recommend this place to anyone. They mis diagnosed my car's issue, made me pay for an oil change that I didn't need, didn't fix the problem with my car and didn't even call me to tell me they couldn't fix it! I had to call them to see if I needed to leave my car longer because I knew they were closing soon! Con artist! Take your money some where else read more

Okay, against the advice of a couple reviewers, I went with my daughter to get our cars inspected here. She's had work done on her '06 Ford Focus here before, and they did a good job. Her little car is from Illinois, and it's got some rust issues underneath it. They did the work, even though some of the bolts had to be cut, and they had to take it somewhere else for this to be done. This is a small, hole-in-the-wall place tucked behind a used car lot, and I'm thinking they might not have the equipment of a bigger garage. That might explain some of the dissatisfaction of other reviewers, since folks seem to love them here, or hate them. That being said, we went for the inspections, and they were courteous, quick, and professional. My car is new enough it only needed a safety inspection, and they charged seven dollars. They could have charged me for the whole deal, but were honest in this price. The A.C. in the office blew cold the whole time we waited, which was not long at all. I'm sure there are much fancier places, where we could sit and sip latte's, but here they did the job, didn't charge for extras, and we were on our way. It took us longer to find the place, than it did for the inspections. read more

At 40 years old I have owned atleast 14 or so cars and I have never had an experience like this. The short story is that my engine was making a knocking sound in my 2007 Suburban I took it to Mikes and was told the repairs would be $2800 because it was an extensive engine rebuild job. Several months later and $2800 I paid them plus another $1000 or so in rental cars because it took from Nov 2014 until Feb 2015 before I had my car back. In the end I had t have my car towed from his shop and they refused to put my engine back in my car so it had to be towed separately. The car was not drivable when I picked it up after the repairs were originally done but I returned it to their shop immediately because I was told the work was under warranty. Stopped a few weeks ago for tires. Good prices. 4 used for $125. Tires were in great condition. Pulled in at 4:15 and was on the road by 4:45. Quick and affordable with great product/service gets 5 stars from me. read more
