I rarely write reviews but I had to rave about this location! Back in our ice storm when everyone was out of antifreeze they topped off my antifreeze for free and even checked my tires and other fluids for free just to be sure I was safe during the storm. I went back today to have my emissions testing done and was met at the door of my car by a technician asking how they could help even though it was two minutes before they technically opened. Everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable and seem genuinely happy to be helping their customers. I will be a return customer any time I have an issue with my car and highly recommend them to everyone looking for friendly and exceptional service! read more

I went to get my motorcycle inspected on May 1, 2021 @KWIK KAR OF IRVING 2960 N BELTLINE RD The state never got the pass. I realized that they had miss typed my vin # My tag expired(my fault) I went back in and got it inspected Aug 6, 2021 Paid again They forgot to give me my report when I got my payment invoice. Turned around and went to get it! They had not even loaded the inspection into the computer. :( (AUG 6, 2021) When they did, they miss typed my TX license tag. Online and Kroger could not process it. (AUG 6, 2021) I went back in AGAIN(AUG 6, 2021) They put Honda Magnum The manager said (as if it was my fault) it is hard to read insurance off of cell phones. That is when I went total KAREN on them. They gave me 7 dollars of the 14 dollars I wasted on them. Have some hand sanitizer in the lobby for guests Don't forget to check the tire pressure and have to be reminded by the guest, twice. Wash the windshield. It's an easy value add that says "we care". On my way home driving down Belt Line and I turned into this parking lot by accident on the way to Jenny's Beauty Supply. Well it was a divine appointment folks, because it just so happened that I needed to get my a vehicle inspection any way and they had 30 minutes until closing. One of the mechanics greeted me at the door before I even entered and sat down. He was also so nice with every with customer I heard him speak with waiting. I love kindness! I gave him my insurance info and keys and waited for service to finish. 20 minutes later and I was good to go! I heard sour things about this chain, but no sour face here! The worst staff they charged me $450 to to fix my AIR CONDITION , which lasted only for 10 days and when I went to check what's the problem and this people tried to charge me more $460 for fixing it , all the staff is racist and specially the manager , one guy john tried to me help and said me to back on early in the morning when manager is not available I will fix it and then he backed off from his words. I went to the Kwik Kar on Greenville avenue thinking it was the best since it was almost in University Park, but nothing could have been further from the truth! Went on my lunch hour on Friday August 25th. Needed an oil change to prepare my car for a road trip the next morning. After spending $114 I drove straight home after work the next morning, all packed up and ready to go on my trip turn my car on. The engine light came on the oil light came on! I immediately checked my oil and guess what? NOT ONE DROP OF OIL!!! I IMMEDIATELY TRIED TO CALL KWIK KAR, THE CALL GOES STRAIGHT TO RECORDING SAYING THEY'RE WITH CUSTOMERS AND TO TRY BACK LATER. I DROVE VERY SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY TO THE NEAREST OIL CHANGE STATION! THEY TOLD ME I WAS VERY LUCKY THAT MY CAR WAS NOT DESTROYED! I then had to pay YET AGAIN FOR ANOTHER OIL CHANGE! NOW I'M OUT OVER $200 FOR TWO OIL CHANGES IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS OF EACH OTHER! I tried to call them the whole next week , and the call kept going to the recording. I finally reached out to their website, and 1 week later I finally got a call from the area manager. He promised a refund and an approval to take my card to the nearest dealership to have them check my engine to make sure no further damage was done. I most probably been to this place for oil change and repair more than 4 times. Anywho, on June 16th 2021 I paid $653 to have my A/C and Condenser removed and replaced. Great.. right? Well, a month or less later my A/C blew up again. (7/30/2021) This time round I involved my insurance because I didn't have the money for expensive repairs. Well, my insurance decided to have their own repair guy check out what's going on with the 'new' condenser that was replaced by Kwik Kar. Your guess is as good as mine, it was badly placed and they did a shoddy job. I had my car fixed and later decided to drive by Kwik Kar to air my disappointment. Lord have mercy, the 'manager ' was rude, very dismissive and was like your warranty is null and void when they (the other mechanics) fixed your car. Fine Mr. manager, but can you at-least admit y'all are shoddy and a scam? Oh and apparently whoever fixed my car doesn't work there no more -unnecessary information that I didn't care for. To be honest a refund was not my ultimate priority- i just needed an honest apology on their part and empathy from them. Well, let me save your money. Do not give this people your time or money. I went to do my car's oil change and asked to have the tires checked because the car's computer indicated that one tire was lacking air. When the car was delivered to me, the four tires did not have the valve caps where the air is put. I told them that the four tires had those caps since I bought them and I knew they were there when I gave them the car. They told me that the car did not have those valve caps. They told me that they could pay me for the valve caps as if to say that I was lying. It is not the price of the valve caps, it is the action they committed that has bothered me since it is not the first time that I go to that place but of course it was the last. I make this post so that anyone who goes there be careful and check how the car is delivered to them. read more

The. Absolute. Worst. These people at the facility are unprofessional and will swindle you. Fortunately I had documentation and started contacting the Kwik Kar Corporate office and was able to get them to honor the warranty. James and Chris both do things like lie, hang up the phone, yell at you, threaten customers etc. and both of these individuals should be fired before Kwik Kar ends up getting sued because of the liability both of them create. Without describing a long story I will say I was able to prove through documentation that they attempted to present false information to get out of a warranty claim on my AC system. I had to go to corporate Kwik Kar to get this addressed. When asked for a copy of the receipt for prior repairs conducted they initially refused to give it to me. Later when confronted about the information I had proving they put false information on the receipt in an attempt to void the warranty claim they first said because I went to corporate they wouldn't repair the car, then they hung up the phone. They also claimed because I had another mechanic evaluate and diagnose the problem proving they didn't fix it the first time, that it also voided the warranty. All BS claims that most people would be turned away. These guys are bullies and need put in their place. I hope Kwik Kar reads this at the corporate level and addresses the problem. In the meantime I would suggest NEVER bring your car to these people as my experience demonstrates unless you are ready to fight and have evidence and documentation that they will attempt to defraud you the consumer. I went to this location after finding a groupon for an oil change which I have done in the past at this location. My vehicle takes synthetic oil as it has been for ALL of my oil changes. Izzy was my technician and advised that he placed conventional oil in my vehicle when i questioned him he advised that what was in the oil cap. He then pulled over Chris (manager on duty) who wanted to point out that was placed in my vehicle on my last visit. I advised Chris on my last visit i purchased the incorrect groupon so they used that groupon and advised that I had to pay the difference for the synthetic oil. He adamantly advised what his system was saying and then went to check my windows to advise I didn't even receive my last oil change at this location. Then he seemed perplexed as to what my frustration was about. I guess because I am a woman my brain was not big enough to understand what kind of oil had been placed in my car or where I took my vehicle for my last oil change and he needed to inform me ever so condescendingly.i checked out and of course they never changed it to the synthetic oil as specified by myself. Ceasar checked me out and asked me about the situation and he apologized for the service. He advised that the conventional oil would not do harm to my vehicle but would need to be replaced in 3k miles instead of the 6k as with the synthetic oil. I told him if there were any issues with my engine do this that they would be liable and he agreed. He advised me the main manager is Elliott and he would be in in Monday. I definitely will not be back to this location due to the quality of service from Chris. I'm appalled that he is even a manger at this location on top of the fact that you basically called me a liar like I don't know the basic knowledge of handling my vehicle. I've been coming here to get my oil changed for years now.. it's right next to home and they're normally really quick and nice. As a woman in any auto shop, I always have experienced people trying to up sale stuff to me and tell me there's stuff wrong with my vehicle when I know it's fine. My entire family are mechanics (they are retired and 60 yrs or older, I don't want to ask them to change my oil in this Texas summer time heat), so I'm fully aware as to what is necessary and what isn't when it comes to my vehicle running properly. I've never had problems with the staff here. I've even recommended this place to friends to come to. I won't be returning here unfortunately after today. Very unprofessional and rude. I fully experienced that "woman treatment" today. I was refused use of a coupon because apparently they have a new policy that is not advertised any where. Chris was honestly a joke. I've heard many complaints about him before but I am a strong believer that I will respect you until you show me you don't deserve my respect. And today, the entire staff here did just that. That man was very dismissive of me, called someone on the phone basically saying I was bitching about not being able to use a coupon. Do you think I have money falling out my ass during this whole COVID situation?? I don't know who put a stick up this mans behind but he ruined my experience.
