Absolutely horrible! I'll start by saying that I manage many of our company cars, so I've been to many Firestone locations in various cities. I have never had an experience as bad as this one. The person I assume to be the manager, 'Dustin', is the poorest representative of a company that I could imagine. I brought a car in for 2 tire sensors and a headlight.. same headlight they fixed less than 2 months ago. I called before coming and Dustin told me they could get the sensors done in about 2 hours; that they were slow at this time. I took him at his word and showed up 20 minutes later. In dropping the car off I asked again the time to complete the job. He said it should be done in 2 to 3 hours. Though he had extended by an hour, I was still okay with this. It is now 4 1/2 hours later and I am still waiting for them to finish. He also added that a 3rd sensor didn't work. Odd, because the other 2 sensors registered just fine before coming in here. Now that I'm waiting in their store, I'm not even asking for them to fix the headlight they reported (and charged me for) fixing before. I just want to get this car and get out of here. When I asked Dustin, his only other comment to me is that I could just get my car and take it somewhere else.. really?? What a poor response for a place that should focus on customer service, right?? Dustin left around 4:30 and the Service Manager, Ashton, was left to deal with all of the messes Dustin made. I will say that Ashton was very nice and tried his best to untangle the messes made before him. He did give me his card, but there were no others available. I will add that I 100% feel that I was charged for parts that were not replaced. I will be escalating this to Firestone corporate, as well as verifying with a local Ford dealership. I think it's also important to note that in every Firestone location I've been to there are business cards out for everyone, including the manager. There are no business cards out at this location. Currently parked in front of the store, arrived at 5pm with a flat tire and a child in the vehicle the store does not close until 7pm, Outside temperature is 100 they refused to help us with a flat tire. We are now waiting for AAA to arrive and assist us. You should have better customer service specially when there's a child involved in this Texas Heat. Do better! What a terrible shop. I schedule an appointment a week out for the earliest possible time. I called the moment they opened to see if they could help if I showed up early- they said there is one person on the alignment rack now and I'd have to wait for them either way. I get there 15 minutes prior to my appointment (2 hours after I had called) and they claimed the same car was still getting an alignment. Not only that, but 30 minutes later they let me know there is another vehicle in front of me for some reason as well (even though I was the one that had an appointment) This shop needs to close down and let real mechanics take over. Maybe this a Dallas thing, but this is the SECOND Firestone that I have been to where making an appointment means diddly squat. Do it if ya wanna, but ya might as well walk-in. I'm just sayin'. It's like they have a protocol to accept every appointment even if it's impossible to fill it or something. I came in for a state inspection because it's that time of year for me, and it was like de ja vu from the weekend before. Nearly 2 hours waiting AGAIN! But...the high level of professionalism received from the Service Advisor, Eric was so superb! And "superb" doesn't even need "so" in front of it. Where did they find this guy?! His ingenuity and professionalism alone make me consider returning if need be. His communication was clear and he kept me informed about everything. At least if I was going to have to wait 2 hours, let me know...and he did unlike the MacArthur location. Eric is definitely a keeper! I just double checked my invoice to confirm that I entered his name correctly in this review. Now about this location....uhh...it's old and sort of run down but still kicking. It can definitely use a remodel, but so can the entire Irving Mall. Can I get a witness?! Don't look up at the ceilings, and pass on using the bathroom if you can. It's not the nicest place to wait 2 hours, so since an appointment doesn't matter, I may just drop off for my next service. I still rather come here than the one on MacArthur. They do a lousy job of managing expectations. When I dropped it off at 10:30 they said it would be a few hours. They called me back around 12 somethingto deal with a problem and at that time said it would be an hour. They called at 1:50 to tell me that the tire couldn't be repaired and I needed a new one. Approved the tire and asked how long ... "an hour". I called 2 hours later and they said they "just got the keys and ticket for it that they would need to type up the order... give them 20 minutes. I went down (because I was running out of time to get a ride to them) and the car was still up on the rack. After 10 minutes of checking they said it would be 20 minutes. 35 minutes later it finally done. It is one thing to tell me that they are busy and it will be a few hours so I can schedule a ride accordingly. It is another to jerk me around with missed promises. Then the notes on the write up sheet were wrong... and I asked for a tire rotation (which was canceled since they were selling me new tires) -- they said they had already done the full car check. While driving home a light came on in my dash to say my tire was low. I got off the freeway and went to Firestone. There was one person in front of me and after the person was done with her I asked if someone could check my tire to see if I had a nail in my tire if I just needed air. He told me would be an hour before he had somebody available to check it. The service bays were almost empty. I told them you're going to make me wait one hour just to check and see if I have a nail in my tire? I might will go down to Pep Boys down the street. This man didn't even stop me he said well I'll get to it as fast as I can. No thanks fire stone that's the worst service ever. I'll never come back here again. I've been to this location on numerous occasions over the past four years because my company has a national account and it is close to my office. It is not an exaggeration that something gets screwed up every time I go there. They messed up on my wheel balancing, differential flush, and even a simple oil change. I was in a hurry and went again today against my better judgment. Apparently I don't learn from past mistakes... I called ahead and was told to come in at 1:00 for an oil change and rotation. They said it would take about an hour so I left my keys and went to get lunch. I returned at 2:15 and they were just draining the oil. At 2:45 I overheard the mechanic come in and tell the desk he was having a problem. No one made an attempt to let me know there was an issue. At 3:15 I was late for an appointment and getting upset. I asked for an update and was told the mechanic was just trying to replace the oil filter and realized they did not have one in stock. They ordered the filter and would have it shortly. He also told me I needed some brake work and asked if I could leave the truck with them. Um...no. Long story short, they finished the work about 4:00, two hours after they said it would be done. When I got home I discovered that they also broke the lug covers on my XD wheels by over torquing the screws. I will never go there again. Being the local fleet manager for my company, we will still use Firestone but I will recommend that everyone avoids this location. On our main visit we were taken care of by Eric. He immediately greeted us when he came in from the garage, and we were next in line. We came in needing a claim processed from " Tire Rack ". Without hesitation he said yes no problem, got started on checking out our tires and getting all of the information he needed to help us process our claim, as our two rear tires had nails that punctured the side walls. He made the needed phone call to the claims dept @ "Tire Rack" and provided them with everything they needed. He said he did not have the same tires in stock, but would have them there next day (Sunday) That worked out just fine with us. He was nice, and worked fast to process everything. Came in today and tires were here and we were greeted by another gentleman whom was nice as well. Dropped off the keys, they did say it would be about and hour to hour and a half, we said we would come back as we went to have dinner nearby. They called us to let us know we forgot the wheel lock key, and we went to take it to them. We went to pick up the car, and they noticed our inspection sticker was expired and asked if we needed to get it done, but we have it just have not placed it on the windshield, glad they noticed those small things and offered up if we needed it. The other gentleman offered the credit card, and we kindly declined. We paid our invoice and they also provided us with an email copy for us to provide to " Tire Rack " for the payment. Our vehicle was parked in the carport/shaded/ pick up area ready to go. Checked the tires and all seemed good, air, installation, and nothing unusual done to the car. Overall, we were pleased with everything. I would come back again when the time is right. By the way, they had snacks in the lobby for guests to enjoy while waiting for their vehicles. ;) Been here a few other times and never had an issue with the services, this reminded me that this place needed a review. I did not mention this to the Eric when we arrived, but we had previously gone to "Discount Tire" just across the freeway and we were turned down by the main manager there regarding processing the claim for " Tire Rack " The manager there told me that they don't do any type of claims for a competitor. Even though, I had shown him the claim paperwork saying we could take it to "Any" tire service center. Rude staff, extreme wait times, and overpriced parts. This morning I woke up to a flat tire. While removing the flat a few stripped lug nuts resulted in snapped lug bolts. Since I needed auto repairs and a new tire my insurance suggested this location for the tow truck. At 11:00 when I arrived there were 3 people waiting. By 3:00 pm it was down to myself and one other guy. The other guy was waiting since 10:30 for an alignment fix and I needed 2 snapped bolts replaced and a new tire put on. Neither of these issues should take that long. At 3:10 the manager informed me that they just STARTED on my car even though I saw it get put on a lift around 12:30. When I asked the manager why they are just starting after it was pulled back so long ago he shrugged saying "lunch." They charge you $14 per lug nut when they only cost $1.50 to replace as well. Charging 7-8x more than the cost of the part should be illegal. When I mentioned this the manager said "that's the price if you do it yourself". How these people are still in business when their simple repairs average 4-5 hours and the prices border on unbelievable is beyond me. As I am typing this someone else came in asking how long an oil change would be and the manager said 2 hours! I'm the only one left so I'm confused how yet another straightforward procedure would take that long. When the customer pushed back on the estimated time the manager shrugged and said "let me know when you have figured out how to perform miracles and then I'll do the job for you yesterday!" ...nice customer service. I've been getting my oil changed here for about 6years. They have great customer service and are truly down to earth individuals. So my father recently went to this location to get a brake change and they told him all his belts needed changing. He told them to keep the belts and they didn't need changing. We will not be returning to this location. They then told him they changed his oil. Luckily, he checked his oil and it wasn't changed. It went from an oil change to a 900+bill. Beware. Not sure why this place has such terrible reviews. I have nothing but good things to say about this Firestone in particular. The best experience here so far was a couple weeks ago, when I forgot my credit card at home. They allowed my boyfriend to pay for my tires over the phone, Otherwise I would've been SOL! Of course I did get the side eye, but luckily they made an exception. Lol I've been here about three times, since moving to the area. Once after the 2000 plus mile drive from the California to Texas, and two other occasions - two sets of tires at different times. They have been great at customer service all three times and they have not tried any funny business either. Plain and simple break down of the bill, and they will give you recommendations for any services you may need in the future. The best part about this place is I leave my car, and I am able to go run all my errands at the mall. They will call you when your car is done. Added bonus: The very first visit they were having a cookout and offered hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, water and Gatorade. Only complaint is that the bathrooms are not that great. Worst service I've ever experienced. I had an a 3:00 appointment for an oils change and I waited four hours. Will never come back.

BEWARE! I took my 2003 Crown Victoria to this shop to diagnose and repair whatever was causing the steam to emanate from under my hood. I chose this location because it is very close to my office. Soon after I left my vehicle, the service consultant called. "You have a bad head gasket. And if you replace one you should replace both." Crap. "How much"? I asked. "About $2,500", said he, "of course, if your head is cracked the cost to repair that is not included." Well, of course not, I thought. He went on to tell me that I must have driven the car while it was overheated, otherwise this never would have happened. Whaaaat? I had not, and I was quite offended by his haughty attitude. A coworker, after hearing me rant and rave, recommended another local mechanic whom his family has used for years. We called the other mechanic, who said it would cost $900 to replace both head gaskets at his shop, IF that is the problem. Furthermore, he said it would cost up to $500 more if the head was cracked. I retrieved the car from Firestone, paid $21.99 for their "comprehensive vehicle inspection" and took it to the other shop for a second opinion. Turns out Firestone was wrong - due either to incompetence or intentional misrepresentation. I had a cracked intake manifold, total cost to repair $569. Problem solved. Bottom line: Firestone misdiagnosed my problem for whatever reason. They were going to charge me almost three times what my new friend Robby Lopez would have charged to replace the head gaskets. And they copped an attitude. I have contacted Firestone's corporate office and reported this to them. I also asked them to refund the fee I paid for their "comprehensive" inspection. I will update this review with the result. If you are in need of auto repairs, here is my advice: 1. Steer clear of this shop. 2. Read my review on Lopez Auto Repair. 3. When I walked in to this Firestone location, I was greeted with a warm hello and the man was happy to help me. I brought my truck in for new tires and an alignment. I decided to leave my vehicle at the store because it would be about 3 hours before they could do anything. The man calls me with all sorts of problems with my truck. The new total came out to around $2,000. I'm in college, I don't have that kind of money. I could barely even get the tires and he knew that. When I told him I was going to consult first with my stepfather, the man became really short with me and had a major attitude shift. I took my truck to another shop. A smaller, more reliable shop, to get a second opinion and they told me none of those problems were actually true and that my truck was fine. (He read the checklist that came directly from Firestone.) The new tires were a good idea, but the rest was nonsense. I wish Firestone was more sincere with their customers. I will never go back to a Firestone location. Especially so without my stepdad or another male. Sometimes shops take advantage when you're a girl because we don't know much about cars. Couldn't be less impressed with this place! First, my girlfriend took her car in for a leaking tire and decided to let them go ahead with the regular maintenance that was due. The service writer wasn't exactly rude, but he wasn't helpful or respectful. Later that day, the SW called to say the car was ready to be picked up. After asking if everything was completed and being assured it was, she left thinking all was well. Of course it wasn't and the next morning her tire pressure was low in the same tire. This alerted her that not only was the tire not repaired, but the rotation hadn't been completed either. She called the store and informed them of the issue and they told her to bring it back in. After another inconvenient day, she picked her car up to more assurance that the rotation had been completed as well as the tire repair. You guessed it, tire still leaks! I must say that they did complete the rotation which put the leaking tire on the front axle. Much safer that way (sarcasm intended) At this point I get involved to be assured again by the original service writer that all work was completed, but he would re-inspect the car for free since I had concerns. Sure enough, our inspection revealed that no tire repair had occurred and there was still a lovely nail sticking out of the tread. I wish the story ended with a quick simple repair, but no such luck. The tire was not repairable, so the SW declared and a new tire was promptly sold to us. Biting my tongue, I told them to proceed with replacement as my girlfriend's safety is my primary concern. I was told, "give me an hour and I'll call you when it's done" That was 3:00 PM Friday..... ... I called Firestone at 11:00 AM Saturday to see if they were still changing the tire since I had received no phone call. To my surprise, the work was indeed completed and they awaited our pickup and payment. When I asked why no one had called to let us know the car was ready, I was told that they did call and we should check our voicemail. By now, I'm sure you can guess that there was no voicemail and no missed call on either of our cell phones. The short of it is, the people at this location don't concern themselves with customer service or quality of work. For me, the safety of my loved ones is paramount and I'll never use this place again. If you choose to shop here, you do so at your own risk. read more

Very nice that this place is near the mall and restaurants. Gives you some place to walk t if you don't want to sit and wait for your car to get finished. I asked for a high mileage oil change and that's what I got. They did not try to sell me anything else. Costs $42.99 for 5 quarts of Kendall oil and a oil filter change. I forgot to ask for 5W-30 oil and they ended up giving me 10W-30 instead. I wish they would have asked me what kind of oil I wanted. I talked to them on the phone before going and I asked if I could get a free tire rotation since I have 4 Bridgestone tires and they said yes. When I got in, they would only do it for free if I bought the tires there, but I told them about the conversation I had over the phone and they did the rotation for me for free. They also cleaned my windshield and did a courtesy check of my belts. read more

I took my car in for a basic inspection and they tore my windshield wipers exactly a half inch and then quoted me the half inch requirement. I went out and measured and sure enough, both were torn a half inch. 6 months later my girlfriend needed an inspection and she asks me where to take it. I tell her, if you take it there, make sure you check the windshield wipers because they tore mine. She checks her wiper blades and all appear to be okay. She goes into Firestone, trusting the national name brand more than anything and they in fact tore her windshield wipers as well on a basic inspection. This business in particular is not honest and will try to rip you off one way or the other. If you choose to go there, make sure you have photo/video evidence otherwise you will have no court case against them when they damage your vehicle. We both reported this behavior to the area supervisor who promptly called the store and did in fact confirm windshield wiper purchases were higher than average at this store but it was not necessarily a sign of foul play. I would truly expect better than this from a large chain, who should be concerned with damaging their brand. Up to this point I was considering buying a lifetime alignment. Please read all the reviews and take them into consideration before visiting this store. First, let me start off by saying I am not familiar with the area. I live in Dallas and was just getting off work and had used Waze to point me to the nearest Firestone.On 2/20 I arrived at the store just a little before 5. I walked in and ask Vhun could he get me in. He asked me what did I need done. I told him that I needed an oil change and my brakes done. He told me that he would be able to get me in within the next hour to and hour and a half. (They close at 9pm) I agreed to wait because I wanted someone to look at my car because it was making noises I never heard before. So i waited in my car for about 2 hours. I call the store at 7pm he said that he would be out in a little. He finally takes my keys around 7:20pm. I waited some more at this time it's 830ish. He comes and tells me everything that was wrong with my car but didn't explain it well. So i feel like I was being over charged. I then call another store in front of V and had them break things down to me. I then agree on the repairs of my back breaks. Five minutes later I go into the garage and see V and another employee in the far right hand corner tag teaming something. I yelled to him hey add the front breaks on to. At this point I'm in the garage and don't see my car up in the air. I was a little suspicious but I didn't know what was going or if they were pulling my car around. Let me remind you there's multiple employees there so I'm thinking that they should have my car completed in no time. As I'm waiting there's two other men that were picking up their vehicles. One says that he came at 430p and the other said he came at 5p to drop off the vehicle. The 430 client said he had received a 9pm courtesy call saying that his vehicle was ready...he didn't leave til after 10. The next client that was getting his tire pressure checked and a new tire left around 10:45. V comes in and say hey I'm doing the back right tire then you'll be good to go. Fast forward to 11:30p is when i walked to the counter for checkout. I asked him why did it take so long. He then replied " One of the customers have a low profile tire that took longer than what was expected. It took two of us." Then we have a new guy that I have to keep an eye out on as well. I then asked him for a discount he tried to offer me a free service totaling to $50. I was not satisfied with that one reason being that I'm a female. Second reason is that there was poor communication throughout my visit. Third I had to wait 5 hours in a 39 degree room freezing to death with no heat. Fourth reason is that I reached out to one of my followers on social media that works at a firestone in dallas and he said that in a case like this that they would have offered a higher percentage so I knew that he was definitely not trying to make sure I was a happy client. I told him the price that I should be given based on the response of another Firestone employee and said that it was above him and that his boss would have to do it. I asked him to reach out to his boss seeing that it was a special situation. He refused to call the manager or give me any of his contact information so I called the police. He then gave the officer the business card for his boss and then the police gave it to me. Like all of this could have been avoided if he wasnt trying to prove a point. Like customers are what keep you in business going. What upsets me the most is that I've had all of my vehicles serviced at Firestone since I was able to drive. My entire household takes our vehicles there but after this situation I would probably consider going somewhere else. read more

I've been using this location for the past 20 years and always had a great experience with the staff and quality of work performed. Today I needed a battery and was told they could do the check in 30 mins, in 20 mins they came back and said that was the issues, gave me options and also pointed out I needed an alignment, which another tire shop previously told me last week. Again I was quoted options told both the battery and alignment could be completed in 45 mins, in 30 mins the work was completed and I was on my way. It's going to stay at three star. The district manager agreed that I get my wheels repaired at their 2nd "best" store in his district. So I agreed, the repair took 3 attempts, each with damages/imperfection noted. The manager I dealt with at the other store started off impatient and did not believe me when I said I found more damages after the repair...etc. but that's for a different store. I found out the reason of my damaged wheel is most likely alignment equipment this fire stone uses. If you care about your wheel, even stock wheels, I would venture else where. You don't need to fork out hundreds of dollars for damages and attitude. I am banned to deal with them because I'm am too particular about my wheels not getting damaged...apparently. They also terminated my life time warranty I had previously paid for. Funny, how they can terminate a contract anytime it is convenient for them. Horrible service. They were extremely rude when I went in for an oil change and seemed more interested in trying to upswell me to a different service from the standard oil change I asked for. Then proceeded to tell me I was taking care of my car wrong before telling me the wait would be three hours. This is ridiculous, since there were only two other people waiting there at the time. I was so frustrated with the rudeness that I just walked out and took my car up the road to a competitor. Never again will I go to Firestone. They are a ripoff that tries to sell you a bunch of things you don't really need. read more

They did get my car taken care of but they kept telling me oh how great the tech was . Then at the end of the day I pay an go home and the technician did put the bottom of my car back together all the way ! And of course all I get is a sorry ! read more

Extremely bad costumer service even the mechanics are very sarcastic and have no idea on how to talk with a lady. It has been my 3rd wheel alignment in 1 year and bought a set of 4 new tires in May and did an alignment with it went back and did another alignment in August I already need two back tires cause they are all worn out but nobody brought to my attention what was going on with my vechicle wost place ever to get things done to your vechicle. Worst place ever! My car was covered under alignment warranty but they did their best to find all kinds of excuses to avoid fixing it. Ridiculously expensive and very manipulative people. Save money, go somewhere else read more
