as a woman, i've had way too many experiences with being judged anytime i had to take my car in for servicing. This, unfortunately, has caused me to not take care of my car as much as I should. I finally took my car in to get serviced at this take 5 location back in January, Ashton was the one who helped me and Andrew was the secondary. I have to say, Ashton was super nice and made me feel comfortable enough to get my car serviced, they both treated me well and discussed things with me in both a professional, yet kind manner. The oil change was super quick, they got me in and out as fast as they could. I will definitely be coming back to this location. Ashton, thanks for taking such great care of me as a new customer! read more

I visited this location today for the first time. These young men are professional, friendly and informative. I will definitely be back!

Sammuel is killing the game. Crazy how these ppl provide better and kind service that a dealership. So nice and helpful!!!

I went to get an oil change based on the label in my window. I felt like it was early but I was following what the window tag said. The young man told me I was early I should come back when I hit 60,000! He looked and everything and replaced the window tag with the correct timing! I will go back there! I appreciate him not taking advantage of me. read more

Awesome customer service!! Pricing is comparable. Roisel, Ace and Andrew were my techs. Everyone was truly great....they even grabbed a cold water for me. read more

I loved the service I was given. Julio was very knowledgeable about what my car is needing and even honored my coupon. He would explain everything he was doing. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. read more

Absolutely loved the service at this belt line location. The gentleman and his coworker Alexis were very professional. However, upon brief questioning, we found out corporate is not delivering water to them or telling them they ran out. Mind you, we're in Texas. And it currently feels like 105 degrees. We paid over a $100 for an oil change. Do better for your employees Take 5. read more

Came for oil change. Everyone was very helpful and went above and beyond in customer service. Even honored a discount that I had receive via text. read more

The worst oil change check/service I have gotten. I usually go to the Take 5 on Lemmon Avenue in Dallas and have exceptional service. I have since moved from Dallas into Irving and decided to go and get my oil changed here at the Irving location. It turns out per the technician Samantha my car didn't need an oil change, but they decided to go under my car and undo the skid plate as well as open up my hood to check the fluids anyways. Car Maintenance 101 - What comes in the shop and on a car, should leave on the car! PERIOD!!! The technicians zip tied the bottom of my skid plate up to my car instead of taking the time to grab the bolts that I heard drop during her work below my car. I visited the shop 09/26 1:30pm-2pm (Blue Honda Civic) and had a technician named Samantha work on my car. Samantha zip tied my skid plate on instead of putting the bolts on the car that were there. As it is COVID and I'm working from home, I don't drive much and didn't hear or notice this until Friday, 10/02, when I drove my car out of my driveway and was hearing something drag against the ground. Come to find out, it was a zip tie! I went back the following weekend on 10/03 approximately 9:30-10am and the manager David was very very skeptical of what I had to say and kept saying he was getting two different stories between my story and Samanthas. First off, please teach your managers that the customer is always right. Especially an angry customer whom comes back to the shop and wastes their precious time trying to get this issue fixed. We review the security footage during the time she worked on my vehicle and it is true, she did zip tie my skid plate up, it is evidenced by her going under my vehicle and asking another technician to bring her zip ties. This was very UNPROFESSIONAL and I will not be visiting Take 5 ever again! David the manager ended up making it right and putting the bolts back on my skid plate and on my car at approximately 1:15-2pm on 10/03, but between him and Samantha, they were both very sketchy and I honestly should have received at least 2-3 free oil changes for the amount of time I had to visit the shop to get this issue resolved. I say they were very sketchy bc David was actually wanting me to pay for the bolts and they never gave me any receipts for anything they did to my car both visits. Granted, I did not buy anything, but the hush hushness of her zip tying up my skid plate and him wanting me to pay for the Honda skid plate bolts and not believing me over Samantha made this situation very awkward. Time is money and I had to go to the shop multiple times on 10/03 to get this fixed bc David bought the wrong screws, took me to the Oreilly Auto Parts next door which didn't have them, and I had to take a trip in his car to the Honda shop in Irving to get the right ones. I will say this was very unprofessional and I hope Corporate looks into this. I am writing this review so that others know that if they find zip ties underneath their car, go back to the last place you got an oil change. It is WRONG! Be on the lookout! read more

these people lie, don't take your car there. They are awful to deal with. Awesome service! Received a bottle of water while I was waiting. They were fast, professional, and courteous. Showed me the new oil level through the dipstick to reassure me, and checked all my fluids and tire pressure. This is my new go-to place for quick oil changes. 5 stars! read more

I came here this morning to get a quick oil change for our car that we drive back-and-forth to Arkansas a lot. There was only one tech at the shop named Dean and he was running around doing an awesome job! As I write this review another tech just showed up. Dean is very polite and professional and only suggested what was needed! Thank you very much Dean and we will be returning for our next oil change! read more

Horrible, they were slow 1 hour for an oil change? And on top of that this place is overpriced $120 for an oil change? Never coming here again and will always tell my friends and family to stay away from this place! read more

David was very thorough in explaining what needed attention. I've been here before but never wrote any reviews, but I keep coming back for the friendly tips and explanation of the processes. Took it to get a regular oil change. Got here was told since I have a GdI engine I should use synthetic once in a while by a female (ok but not interested). Trying to up sell. I tell her I'm ok with regular. Guy goes under to tell me the plug is stripped now And wanted to warn me before doing any work. I ask him to use the extractor and he tells me he doesn't feel comfortable. Lol. Do I need to say more? Also the min charge here is $45+ tax. Took it to pep boys down the block he shows me it's not stripped and I pay $35 OTD read more

If you're looking for terrible customer service and staff with attitude, this location will do it for ya. Second time I've been there and my most recent time I decided to leave bc one particular employee (I wish I got his name, he works on sundays) was extremely rude as soon as I pulled into the establishment. Never going back there. 0 stars. read more

With an hour to kill before a doctor appointment I decided to get the oil changed nearby. When I arrived there was a car in each bay but no clear signage and no help from the employees. I chose to pull to the middle bay which sent me to a very obviously disgruntled worker who was rude to me from the start. The whole experience was negative. He tried upselling me, demanded my ID. Why does an oil change place need my ID?? He claimed it is policy but in hindsight I don't think that is correct as I don't see anywhere that indicates this to be true. I purchased the economy package which came to almost $90. I will never go there again, do not recommend to anyone. I usually use Valvoline and receive the friendliest service, won't start from them again. Steer clear. read more

Great fast service, and extremely friendly staff would recommend any day! They honored the coupon with no problem.

This new staff is horrid. The customer service is non-existent. I had gone to this location for the past 10 years and the gentlemen who you all let go were professional, trustworthy and cared about my car needs & me. On 9.14.19 Jesus left me sitting in the sun as they had cones in the bay. He offered water, forgot it and could not perform a simple request of checking my fluids. That's fluids with an "s". I had to sit in the sun perspiring & say specifically what my fluids in my car were. When leaving, two others came out who felt they were in charge... asking him what he was doing? I guess he wasn't supposed to do that for a customer. read more

We arrived at this location at 304pm and there were three cars in the garage and we were directed to go to the middle location behind a dodge laramie truck then a lady in a toyota pulled up next to us and they had here go on the right side then a nissan truck to the left they both went into the garage and we were still out side waiting. then at 330pm after they talked and talked and talked to whoever was in the ram truck when they saw i got out to close my hood and leave then they finally stopped talking and the girl there comes out and says are you gonna get an oil change and i said i was but not after you make me wait 30 minutes while you are talking and everyone that came after me already went in the garage and she says they were here before you and we only have 4 people and i said no they were not and i left. I WILL NEVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE MY BUSINESS. Do not go here take 5 people are slow and rude. read more

I had to get an inspection done to register my car in Texas. Anthony was great and communicated all details. My tint didn't pass so I went and got it redone the same day. Since I couldn't roll my windows down, they couldn't test it the proper way, gotta wait another day. But I do appreciate him being so by the book. Professional yet casual enough to feel comfortable. Will definitely be back! read more

3/6/21. Absolutely pathetic customer service. Sat in one lane for 45 minutes- not one employee came out to ask what services I wanted until I pulled in. The other lane cars that arrived 15, 20, 30 after me went through without any direction or opportunity to allow me whom had arrived much earlier the chance. Just "Luck of the draw on which lane." Finally after 45 pathetic minutes was directed into the bay I was waiting on. Omar, the assistant manager, tells me no more state inspections. Holy crap. 45 minutes and not one employee coming out to ask me my services I required this individual tells me no more state inspections due to some BS gas emissions line not registering. When I asked Omar why no one had bothered to walk out and ask me for my services in the last 45 minutes- he states "we are not allowed to leave the vehicle we are serving" I said you were not serving personally you were failing to manage you customers. Left immediately and drive 5 minutes down the road to a a Mobil 1 and fire what - someone immediately came out and asked my services and gave me an immediate time frame. Take 5 franchisee- you need to get off your ass and retrain your employees and managers. read more
