My party of 3 came by around 5:45 pm on a Tuesday evening and had to wait a couple minutes for a table, and as we were eating we saw the line get longer. Most of the customers were Chinese; we were one of the two tables speaking English, so you know the food here is legit. The restaurant itself is tiny, with the seating space split into two sides by a wall in the middle. There are 4-5 tables on each side, as well as 2 outdoor tables. The menu is just one page and pretty straightforward. There are a bunch of appetizers and small dishes, like braised dishes and dumplings, and the entrees are various noodle soups with different meats. I had the beef tendon mifen ($14.99) and asked for no cilantro or green onions. It came out very quickly and was piping hot. The remaining toppings other than the meat are raw onions and two types of pickled veggies. I really liked the noodles, which are these silky smooth noodles made from rice. They're great for slurping! The soup had great flavor, and I was really happy they didn't skimp on the beef tendon, which was super tender. Portions were huge as well. I was absolutely stuffed by the end. My one complaint is that I wish they included actual veggies like bokchoy as part of the noodle soup rather than raw onions and pickled vegetables. It was a lot of pickled veggies to the point where I couldn't finish them all. One friend got the signature beef ($13.99) and enjoyed it as well, but my vegetarian friend got the vegetarian mifen soup ($10.99) and absolutely hated it. Portion was large and filled you up just right and enough room to add a side appetizer, which we did with the pork and cabbage dumpling with a nice hot oil sauce on the side that you could either dip or pour on top. Freshly made and steaming goodness inside, a perfect compliment to the meal. Staff were very quick on their feet and although assumed we spoke Chinese to expedite the ordering process, that was fine as the moment we sat down, food was out in a few minutes so wait time was very minimal. Not really the end of the world if anything but I wish they had more tables or a larger restaurant to accommodate more people as it felt slightly cramped.
