They eventually became my favorite beans then red beans my second favorite. Tha Neighborhood did well, the beef tips are nice and tender. The collards also tasty. I received a small cornbread muffin that I hadn't asked it. I was so happy to have this meal. Initially I wasn't seeing it on their doordash menu. After multiple looks it miraculously showed up on the menu . The restaurant called verify my appointment. She told me that they hadn't released it on the doordash menu initially that's why I didn't see it because it sells fast . I felt like my day couldn't get any better until my dasher arrived and the food was still warm as I live over twelve miles away. I will savor each bite . Today as I wasn't hungry when my food arrived I ate two teaspoons and placed in the fridge for another day. Thanks staff they did that with this meal . No complaints just happy happy happy .

Parking directly in front isn't ideal due to how it's structured. The staff were okay, place looked clean. Now for the food, we got the smothered pork chops, rice, greens and yams. Greens 4/10 ( had a weird taste ), yams 7/10 looked like the canned ones but not other real complaints. The gravy that the pork chops were cooked in was good but the pork chops were very tough. Both of them were tough and one was nothing but bone. Maybe two or three real bites of meat from it. Now my daughter got the oxtail casserole ( that was the best thing out of both of our plates ) the cabbage was pretty good 6/10. Mac and cheese lacked flavor 5/10. I may go back and try the fried food options but that's only if I'm in the area. Will not make a special drive for the food.

Fancy spot! You wouldn't mind if I review it, would you? Eating out in Dallas can get really…read moreexpensive, really quick. Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

Came on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see they have a daily HH of $10 speciality drinks, $5 beers, and $18 burger/fries combo w/ $3 up charge for cheese fries. Decent deal so me and my wife both ordered a combo with cheese fries with no onions and I ordered a Tokyo Punch for cocktail. First off the employees can't get anything right here but hey they at least messed up my order twice but gave me a smile and was kind about their mess up so that's what the 2 stars are for lol. The bartender brings me my drink and even says "here's your Tokyo" I thought oh it looks like a citrus drink to have been a coconut, whiskey punch. First sip I was disgusted because I instantly knew it was a margarita. I took the drink back to the bar and said I didn't like the punch it didn't taste as described. She asked what it tasted like and I said margarita and then she says yea that's what it looks like as well then inform me that the bottles were mislabeled and I was served a margarita and they were out of Tokyo. That was very annoying that the bartender could not tell the difference of the two drinks when pouring it. I ended up ordering a rum boba drink instead that was good. Now with the food remember I ordered 2 burgers with no onions because modifications are allowed. Boxes said no onion but there were onions all over them. I again had to go take something back to get it made properly. I never have to come back unfortunately. Food wasn't worth what I had to deal with.

We came here on a whim. A last-minute brunch decision. Nothing planned. No expectations. And what…read morefollowed was a core memory in three courses and a complimentary Bloody Mary shot accompanied by the cutest green olive. The moment we walked in, it felt like home, but not in the "kick off your shoes" way. No, this was the "you're safe here, baby" kind of home. The vibe? Cozy. Elevated. Like Restoration Hardware met someone emotionally stable. Elliott was our server and an absolute delight. Joseph was the manager, casually spreading joy like Oprah with a tray of Bloody Mary shots. Amber... now let me pause here, because this woman deserves a paragraph of her own. Amber isn't just a GM. She's the kind of soul you meet once and never forget. When I asked for her to come to our table just to pay her a compliment, we both practically teared up. She received it with open arms, no ego, no deflection, just pure, gracious presence. I was mid-sentence and suddenly I had that Creed song stuck in my head. You know the one. "With arms wide open..." That's the kind of energy she brought to the entire restaurant. Amber made every person in that room feel like they mattered. Not because it's her job, but because it's who she is. She's fresh off earning her master's in hospitality, and if that degree came with a crown, she's wearing it. The Porch doesn't just run smoothly. It runs on Amber energy. But let's talk about the moment I saw God. Cornbread Eggs Benedict: Not crab. Not salmon. Corn. Bread. And not just any cornbread. The softest, fluffiest, most cuttable cloud of golden glory I've ever had the pleasure of annihilating with a fork. A fork, not a steak knife. Do you understand how rare that is? Normally I'm out here sawing through an English muffin like I'm in a lumberjack competition. This? Melted like butter. Tasted like a hug. 12/10. Incredible. And then, as if the eggs benny enlightenment wasn't enough, Joseph reappears with a tray of free Bloody Mary shots for the entire restaurant. With olives. For everyone. The joy? Immediate. The energy? Electric. The crowd? Unified. I watched a grandmother at the next table raise her glass like the queen she is. I nearly cried. This wasn't service. This was a masterclass in human connection. Restaurants can be transactional. Robotic. This was the opposite. This was care, intention, soul. My high school principal once said: "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit of extra." The Porch brought extra, bagged it, garnished it, and served it on a tray. Final thought: If you're not brunching here, I'm concerned. If you are? I'll raise my Bloody Mary shot to you. And Amber, if you ever run for mayor, you've already got my vote. I'll run your campaign and show up in a custom t-shirt.
