A shockingly enjoyable experience…read more We were looking for a restaurant in the area, and weren't feeling any of the other options. The staff was super nice when we came in, We had the Jerk Berger, Garlic Fries and Baby Back Ribs with Plantain fries. Both were cooked well and had a really good flavor from the meat, and also the spicing and flavor were quite good. It sounds like they may be refreshing the interior, I would agree that would help as it felt a bit lost in design, and also a bit tired. I would definitely go back for the staff and the food.

It pains me to write this review but I hope it's seen by management and they address this issue. I had a friend visiting from another state (drove for 10 hours in snow and ice). I was excited to bring them here for brunch. I made a reservation online the day before just in case. We arrived at 10am and the doors were locked. The hours said they'd be open at 9am. Tried getting the staff's attention but it seemed like we were being ignored. I called the phone number several times. No one picked up even though I could see staff inside. I even tried sending them a message on social media but no response. We ended up going to the breakfast spot next door. When we were done, we walked past the restaurant and of course it was open then. Needless to say, this experience was super disappointing. Communication about updated hours or picking up the phone isn't too much to ask for. One bad experience isn't a dealbreaker but two will be. I hope management fixes this quickly.

We were 6 people, bill was around 380..with the tax, tip & recommended 4% for the kitchen staff, another 80 in fees, which kills me after traveling through Europe fairly often. So 440 total. Way to much for one drink each for 5 of us, no drink for the 6th, no bottle of wine, split 1 app 7 olives, no coffee, 2 desserts. Way too pricey. When did 34-38 dollar entrees become the norm ? I would never return for one reason..that 4% tip for the kitchen. Pay your back of the house staff from those $$$$ entrees. Perhaps another idea is to take a % off each $15+ cocktail and pay their kitchen staff with it. I have not seen this done in years..absolutely no where. During the height of Covid, yes. But it faded away rather quickly and left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Also, I'd recommend lighter plates, those poor ladies hauling in those large & heavy dishes is not a good look.

Last night, we decided to dine at Farmhouse in Needham before the Great Hall Concert…read more When we walked in, we were impressed by the pleasant atmosphere, and throughout the evening we found the service to be very good. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the setting or the prices. We started with the $34 charcuterie board. For that price, we were surprised by how little meat was included, along with only a few measly crackers. We ordered additional bread because there simply wasn't enough to accompany the charcuterie--and were then surprised to find a $4 charge for bread and butter. The wine by the glass was also extremely expensive. My wife ordered the chicken Milanese. The salad and sauce served with it were quite good, but unfortunately the chicken cutlet itself was very dry. For dessert, we decided to try the butterscotch pudding. It could not have been more uneventful. The pudding had virtually no discernible butterscotch flavor--or much flavor at all--and what appeared to be canned whipped cream did nothing to improve it. Farmhouse has a pleasant atmosphere and very good service, but considering the quality of the food, portion sizes, and prices, we left disappointed. -- 2 out of 5 stars

The food is solid but it's a bit pricey and my last time here was the final time. After standing in the store for the usual extra 15-20 minutes beyond the estimated time, a staff member gave us the sandwiches we ordered but said they ran out of soup and could refund us. We stood there and waited another 10 minutes until he came around again and asked if we needed anything. I said yes, we're waiting for the refund. He got another coworker to process the refund for us. She was typing in front of a computer for a few minutes and said she processed it. My mistake that I took her for her word without requesting a refund receipt as the refund never processed. By the time we got home to eat (after stopping at the grocery store for soup instead), the four sandwiches were cold. I won't be back again but if you go, tack on a lot of time before you go to pick up your food and if you get a refund, press for a receipt.

Melty brings back a classic comfort food concept to Boston with its focus on gourmet grilled cheese…read moresandwiches, filling a niche that had become harder to find. As a quick-service spot, it's perfect for a satisfying, no-fuss meal. We placed a takeout order, and the food was prepared and ready quickly. Impressively, even after delivery, the sandwiches arrived in great shape, the bread was toasted well and didn't get soggy, despite being packed with ingredients. I ordered the BBQ Brisket Grilled Cheese with chipotle mayo. The sandwich was good, hitting the right notes for a solid grilled cheese. The cheese itself had a nice flavor and achieved that ideal melted texture, perfectly gooey without being messy or congealed. For the price and portion, it was satisfying. My one note is that the flavor of the BBQ brisket was quite subtle and got a bit lost behind the cheese and the decent, smoky chipotle mayo. The mayo did pair well and added a nice kick. Overall, Melty is a reliable spot for a hearty, well-executed grilled cheese. It's the kind of place you go when that specific craving hits, and it delivers a consistently good version of the classic.

The outdoor area is inviting, and inside there's a great mix of low-top tables, high-tops, bar seating, and cozy spots to settle into. Everything feels thoughtfully spread out, and I loved being able to see the open brick oven and activity in the kitchen. The space also has a bit of a bakery/café vibe, making it feel like a place where you could stop in for a quick grab-and-go item or stay awhile for a full meal. The staff made a great impression too. The people at the front were incredibly helpful to my guest, who was having some trouble with their phone. I also ordered one of the specialty drinks but asked for it without alcohol. The bartender absolutely nailed it--it was so good that my only complaint was that it didn't come in a bigger glass. For food, I had the grass-fed burger and fries (see photo), and it exceeded my expectations. The burger was so juicy and flavorful that I ended up cutting it into pieces just to make it manageable. Every bite was delicious. What I appreciate most is that I left feeling like I hadn't even experienced everything the restaurant has to offer. I already want to go back, choose a different seat, and enjoy a completely different perspective of the space. Honestly, it feels like the perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon. They have a limited menu but an extensive selection of scotch and wine. I sat at the bar where the bartender could have cared Lee if I was there. He spent all his time catering to group at the end of the bar. I had to get up and ask the waitress to check on my cheeseburger. The bartender just did not care. I thought the price for a simple cheeseburger at 22.00 as steep. There was nothing special about it. Cheese, hamburger, bun and some jalapeño relish. I called earlier in the day to double check if this was true as it seemed too good 2 B true in this day and age. Indeed it was true. I met the Jeffersons and Moey there that nite and was hangry. I most certainly was not there to play games. The hostess Gia seated us in our "usual" booth and she happened to be our waitress as well. We all ordered sodas (refills included) and all choose between Boneless, Breaded or Naked. We all chose Breaded except for Tams who chose Boneless. We all got different "sarces." Jefferson and I got Medium Buffalo and the gurls got Garlic Parm or Lemon Parm or something and BBQ or something. I augmented my Wings with Ghost Pepper Sauce and Hooters Hot Sauce and dipped in Bleu Cheese while the rest of the party dipped in Ranch. What ensued was a sowdown that seemed too good 2 B true... Plate after plate of delish Wings flew our way. I simply could not believe this was not a dream. 15 bucks for AYCE? And these Wings were "da kine" as well -hot n' fresh. Needless to say I ate until I could not eat no more. I do reckon I had 23 wings. Mind you that each round comes with fries. The gurls pigged out real good too but not as much so as me and Jefferson. These Wings were scrump AF. Our waitress Gia was ausum sauce. Wicked friendly and smiley and did everything perfectly in this melee of a sowdown. Sauces and bones and everything were flying about in a whirlwind. Thank you, Hooters! See you next time, YELPers.
