My blood sugar was tanking and my baby decided the car seat was the devil, so I stopped on my way home in this parking lot. He needed a minute out of his seat and I needed sustenance and quiet. I saw this restaurant and figured I could grab a roll and reset. There was only one other table besides me with anyone eating as it was in between lunch and dinner peak hours. I ordered the dragon roll and was glad their version had no tempura in it, as I avoid fried food normally. The waitress checked on me and the baby a bunch and was really sweet. Hes been teething so he got a bit fussy a couple times, so a lot of the time was me trying to keep him occupied and not bugging the one table besides me dining there. The restaurant smelled of yummy food to come, and I feel like based on the one roll I got that I would love to come again. The rice was perfect, the size was just right to pop in your mouth, solid construction, fresh ingredients, perfect cook on eel, the eel sauce was not overly syrupy and overpowering the dish. Probably the best dragon roll I have had in a while. It's an a la carte menu and they put thought and care into my roll. If my baby had been in a better mood I would have loved to had ordered more. Ill be back to try more of their menu. I noticed they had a low carb sushi section some may appreciate even. read more

4:15pm visit on December 2nd Review #52 of 2024 This was our second trip to this restaurant. My middle daughter received a prestigious award at school today, so we asked her where she wanted to celebrate. She immediately mentioned the place known for its incredible tofu soup, which we knew referred to miso. She and my son also indulged in two servings of edamame. My eldest daughter opted for her beloved California roll and also enjoyed some of my wife's chicken katsu. I decided to try the Norma Jeane roll, which was touted as spicy, so I could share it with my wife since she doesn't eat raw fish. While it was well-prepared, I found it lacking in heat for my Mexican palate. I also ordered a roll called Poison, and both were satisfying. To round off the meal, I enjoyed a spicy scallop hand roll, which was a delightful way to conclude our dinner. The service was excellent. The woman who attended to us was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Although the service was a bit slow, I understand it's due to the fresh preparation of the dishes. I'm so extremely sad. This place was the only restaurant my fiance and I would come to consistently. The food was always amazing. The service was always excellent especially with Sharon who was always there to talk to us and make us feel at home. I'm going to absolutely miss this place not just for the food but for the company it brought. This place wasn't just a place of business but like a second home. Now I won't be able to wish Sharon a happy birthday on March 28th which happens to also be mine. I wish I'd known so I would have come on the last day. I was looking for a good place to snag a healthy lunch prior to my gym workout. Lucky for me, I found this place! The customer service was excellent, I was seated fast and already had my drink order at the table in less than 3 minutes! Plenty of bar seating and several large tables allow for small to large groups of people to enjoy this lovely place. I ordered more than I needed because I was starving, AND I love sushi. I ordered the following: Big Cajun roll, because it looked amazing. Icy Spicy roll because it has no rice, and Super white tuna nigiri sushi. The Big Cajun was: cooked perfectly, filled with a delicious mix of Cajun spices and Asian fusion of sesame, soy, ginger The Icy Spicy roll was crunchy, fresh, flavorful, and absolutely healthy! The Super White Tuna Nigiri: was the perfect cut (not too thick, not too thin), buttery in mouth feel, flavorful, and honestly, it was my favorite!!! It appears that Midori has closed. On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, and the doors were locked. All menu posters were removed and nearby businesses indicated the restaurant was closed for about two weeks. Very sad as this was an excellent place for a perfectly prepared meal with a comfortable atmosphere and superior service. I hope they just relocated, but it looks like they have ceased operations at this time. read more

Had a really nice dinner at Midori last night. It had been several years since we'd been there, and we're glad we went. We each ordered the sushi dinner ($16.95). The meal began with miso soup and a small salad. Both were excellent, and the salad dressing was spectacular. The sushi was extremely fresh and tasty, and the cuts were generous. I appreciated that there wasn't an additional charge for having a spicy tuna roll instead of a California roll, and the roll was delicious! It tasted like it had masago in it, and the little crunch and burst of flavor elevated the dish. Our server was both nice and attentive, our seats were comfortable, and the price was really reasonable, especially considering all that was included. Would not have changed a thing. We noticed the menu for lunch specials, which I've posted here. Some of those rolls sound amazing, and we're already discussing going back for lunch. read more

Like the other reviews indicate, this place is a hidden gem! There is nothing I can say about the food except spectacular. The dinner specials provide a wide variety of options and are reasonably priced . Relatives turned me on to this place and whenever we are in town visiting and need a fix for Japanese food this is where we come rather than go to the Strip. The tempura is done just right and not greasy or oily. The food is plentiful and we always leave with a takeout container. Thank you for a wonderful meal! They make their inari different but we liked it. Much easier to eat. The toppings for the nigiri sushi we ordered is plentiful and the salad that comes with the dinner selection has a dressing that is perfect. The sweetness, ginger, vinegar and I can't figure out the rest has a flavor that I haven't experienced before. It's different from other dressings I've had at other Japanese restaurants and this is the best dressing I've had so far. In addition to the food the service is excellent! This is an excellent hidden gem in Green Valley Las Vegas. It's a shame that it isn't more popular! I truly wish the best for this business. I came back after having previously dined in the last few years and it did not disappoint. The food is a 10/10. Portions are big and full, and also really quality. They also always have piano music in the background playing so this is definitely a place where to have a nice calm date at. I will be coming back here with my partner hopefully! Lastly, the service was amazing. The lady who served us took our picture when we were struggling and offered to help. She also kept our waters full all the time and kept checking in on us. It's been a while since we've had sushi, and we ended up running into this place right next door to the new Lovelady Brewing taproom. Midori is a little bigger compared to other Japanese/sushi bars we've been to. The atmosphere was excellent with soft piano music playing in the background. When my boyfriend and I walked in, we were seated almost immediately. There were so many sushi roll choices that they had, it was difficult to choose just one. I ordered the Sleepless Roll and my boyfriend ordered two rolls (because he couldn't choose just one, haha) - the California Roll and the "crunchy" Royal California Roll (which we shared). This was my first time trying a "crunchy" sushi roll and it was actually pretty good! The texture and taste was exactly like a fish stick has. The Sleepless Roll was made perfectly and had that excellent taste to it. My boyfriend's California Roll, as he described it, very tasty and fresh. And the prices can't be beat! The food and service here is so top notch! The waitress we always have is adorable and sweet and she always remembers us and our preferences. My only complaint, and hence one star removed is that they close too early and are often closed for random reasons. The interior decor also needs a lot of work. Looks messy and somewhat outdated so I wouldn't choose this place for ambiance but food and service can't be beat. This is our favorite sushi in Henderson. read more

We love coming to Midori. They were our go-to Sushi connection during lockdown and they are still a favorite now. The service is outstanding and the place is welcoming. They care about the health of their guests and and the product they put out. Years ago, I would come here for lunch with my uncle and it is great that they are still around. The only knock is that years ago, at least during lunch, they used to be AYCE, but this is a slight knock. If you would like a nice sushi experience, before you head to a game at Dollar Loan Center or movie at Green Valley or would like to pickup something for dinner to take home, that is not too far off the 215 ramp, this should be your place. read more

I work across the street and have been coming here maybe once a month for lunch for the past year almost. I get the lunch bento box which has teriyaki chicken, rice, a little salad, 2 fried dumplings, a sushi roll, and miso soup. All of that for about $10! The food tastes great and the value is amazing. This place is a surprising find in this busy part of town that is filled with business and offices. It's probably a great idea since I came here on a workday lunch. The place is quiet and the prices are very affordable . It's a Japanese fusion place but I only got to try one of their bento boxes in their lunch menu. It came with a lot: soup, a roll, a main entree, salad and another side item which I got was gyoza. I did not get to try other items but it was so worth it for the price. Very overpriced for poor quality fish, ordered 3 rolls, sashimi was great, the spicy tuna roll has a very sweet aftertaste which grossed me out, not a fan. I can't remember the name of the other roll but it had potential to be good, the roll was lukewarm, even though everything was raw in it, it also had big untrimmed pieces of fat on the fish on top i had to spit multiple pieces out to the point where i didn't even eat more than 3 pieces because it grossed me out. Still paid for all the food even though i let my waiter know I did not like it she didn't seem to care, definitely not worth what you'll spend. Unless u do their lunch deal, can't really mess up shrimp tempura sushi roll, and other various tempura not good quality sushi though, should definitely be better quality fish for what u pay on a "specialty" roll. also our waitress was immediately ready to run away i wasn't even finished ordering and she was about to walk away, we didn't take long to order either definitely less than 1 minute between my friend and i... Always quick & quality sushi for my girlfriend's lunch hour at the sushi bar. We love the handrolls, baked green mussels & Butter Roll. The chefs have a good sense of humor, the servers are always helpful, & the Pinot Grigio & Sake are better than the Chardonnay. Also the menu has a nice variety of salads, low carb rolls, sashimi plates, handrolls & rolls! The Alaskan, Mexican, Spicy Tuna & the Philadelphia hand rolls, are my favorite. You pick three for $11 & it's full of thick pieces of fish. The Butter is my favorite Roll so I highly recommend it. I could never do an AYCE here cause of how large the rolls are, cause of that I am not even sure if they offer it. We split one Butter Roll & I was already full!
