Great food and service! The food is great ive gone here a couple times and nothing beats their pizza, their drinks are also amazing! This place is quite pricey for a bar around $22 for just the pizza and $14 per drink, but if you have the money and are looking for new places to try I would definitely recommend this place.

Located in the Cottonwood Court hotel, this is a tasty place for food and drinks. It has indoor and outdoor space and live music on certain days. The food portions are large so be sure to ask in advance. The service was okay when we went. I'm pretty sure we had a new waiter who was overwhelmed with many tables during dinner . It didn't bother us since we weren't in a hurry.

While staying at the Cotton Court we went for drinks and dessert while listening to a great band! The coffee tinis were incredible!! They were out of bread pudding so opted for crème brûlée. It was perfect. Sam was a super friendly and fast waitress!

My absolute favorite is the poached egg breakfast and add roasted jalapeños. It is delicious and I look forward to eating this for breakfast every time we are here for the cotton convention. The Midnight Benny Florentine is delicious! The avocado toast is tasty too!

My wife and I stopped in for an afternoon drink and an app before our dinner just down the road a few blocks at the West Table. They have 6 local-ish brews on tap and I enjoyed sipping on my Hefewezien. The wife liked her white sangria. The kitchen doesn't open til 5pm, so food choices were limited to Chicharrones or chips with queso. Chips and queso were ok, queso could have been served hotter. Good service from the bartender.

So.... this review is based on drinks and dessert. The drinks are "okay." We had the Chilton, Chilton Plus, and a Horned Toad. None were great. We had just come from Double Nickel and had some amazing Chiltons, so maybe that hurt our pallets. We also had the Apple Skillet Cake. Our server said this was his favorite, but unfortunately it tasted like a boxed mix, with some fresh apple thrown in, topped with blue bell ice cream. The environment of the place is awesome, but the food and drinks are subpar.

I ate before I took the pict... that should tell you something

OK, so I usually write my thoughts while I am in the restaurant.... not tonight!!!! The hospitality fri people O don't know took the direction in a different path. This is a incredible place for everyone. Smile at the door from from Avery to the two top BARTENDERS in Lubbock TX . Morgan and Amber. They serve more the cocktails.... They serve KINDNESS. Food was fantastic.... try the Salmon or Tomahawk.... Sean the bar manager delivers a true TEXAS CARING experience... try it ........ seriously try it. Mr Chef great job even i didn't get your name.

When we walked in on May 19, 2026, the place was not too busy at around noon. Right away I noticed low lighting. Cool alternative, rock, and old R&B music playing in the background. A full bar. Pinball machines for tables. Lots of nostalgia in this place! Restroom was mostly clean. The food was okay. I wish there was a bit more flavor to everything. My daughter agreed. + The Damned Dog ($11) "All beef frank, house beef chili, cheddar, diced onions, and jalapeno crispies." This was good but the frank and chili needed more flavor. I opted for a side of house-made vegan potato salad (additional $1.50) instead of potato chips which really good. + The Sourpuss ($12) "Bratwurst, sauerkraut, pickle slice, crushed salt & vinegar chips, and queso fresco." My daughter enjoyed this with ketchup and mustard added and a side of smoked gouda mac. That mac was very tasty. We also noticed how crisp and spicy our Sprite and Dr. Peppers were. Loved that. I'd definitely go back again for a drink and maybe a sandwich next time. Ample lot parking.

People gather here nightly for fantastic beer and social relaxation. As the saying goes "if you build it, they will come", so too do the food trucks show up to help reduce your ABV with something scrumptious. My favorite night to visit is Wednesday, as they host RUN LBK's group runs. There's a free post-run beer awaiting your return. If that's not convincing enough, I don't know what else is. They host events every night, actually. This includes lotería, trivia, and vinyl night to name a few. They play host often to local and farther flung bands. The outdoor area gets packed out in warmer weather. Staff is friendly and beer is reasonably priced. There's merch for sale if you really love Two Docs and want to show it off. As the best brewery in Lubbock, it's a must visit and ranks up there with many others countrywide.

I haven't returned to Mano Negra since it moved from its old location in Cactus Alley to the heart of Lubbock. Their old spot was very tight but had such an unadulterated charm that made the space feel special. The new location feels a lot more modern, but as its fanbase continues to grow, it needed more space to work with anyway. Inside, there's a huge wall of art and plenty of seating, and it feels like a place that doesn't belong in Lubbock. It feels so mid-city that it almost made me emotional. In the back lies their bar, where they serve their famed sangria, house-brewed beers, and other beverages. Their bartenders are super knowledgeable and will help you make the right choice. In the corner are a few arcade machines, including Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat II, Defender, and Pac-Man. There are also plenty of board games to pick up as well. As for the drinks, the Sunset Sangria and their Sandia Sangria I had were both exceptional. Good sangria hits like nothing I've ever had before. Mano Negra's new spot has a great deal of outdoor seating and patio space. If the inside gets too loud or too crowded, and if there's live music like there was when I went, it can get LOUD. The outdoor space offers a quiet escape and a great conversation spot on a cool night in Lubbock. The overall vibe and energy of Mano Negra are lively. The Brazilian students playing music in the corner brought out a new level of energy to the night, and I had a blast going here. I warn that their drinks are a little strong and the energy can get a little hot, so you may find yourself three drinks deep, unable to resist getting your dance on a little bit. Have a little fun with it. RIYL: Feeling A L I V E on a Friday night
