    Mushroom Swiss burger

I never knew this place existed, but wow what a great meal! We came for a happy hour after work, and it was 3 dollars off any burger. Not sure if this is every Thursday, but it sealed the deal for me! My mushroom Swiss burger was excellent. Lots of mushrooms and the horseradish mayo was a nice touch. My burger was cooked to perfection. Good seasoning too. I got a plentiful side of brussel sprouts with good flavor. I want to come back and try more on the menu!

I've driven past many times, but I had no idea how sprawling it becomes inside once you walk past the bar. Obviously a favorite for locals, they serve lots of burgers, fish sandwiches, salads, but also entrees. Their fries are excellent. Our server was extremely attentive. I'm used to a longer craft beer list, but they appear to be updating their choices. They have some large tables to accommodate groups. Although this is a solid neighborhood hangout, you will find many more exciting options closer to the City.

We only ordered wings to go. While wings. We're just ok. The seasoning salt flavor was overwhelming, but let love that they had whole wings

Once inside the restaurant, I asked an employee about their parking, and she replied that customers may park also on the street or even across the street at the Subway restaurant (which is temporarily closed and used to open later in the day). Dominic's Diner serves breakfast and lunch on most days of the week. Be sure to look up their current hours before you drive there. Examples of their foods are eggs, bacon, ham, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, oatmeal, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and onion rings. Please see my attached photos for the full menus in October 2023. As soon as my husband and I entered the restaurant, we saw a sign that said to wait to be seated, but an employee soon told us that we could choose our table. We sat at a four-seat table near the window. After a few minutes, our waitress introduced herself and gave us menus. Throughout the service, she smiled and made courteous conversation. She promptly took our orders and brought out our beverages and foods. My husband felt impressed that this restaurant offers both Coke and Pepsi products. Here are my reviews for our foods: French toast with bacon - $13.25 - 4.5 stars - I received three slices of French toast, which were fresh and wonderfully sweet, and three slices of bacon, which were meaty, crispy, and satisfyingly salty. Cheese omelette with ham - $12.25 + $3 - 4 stars - My husband said that this omelette was a very large size and that the taste was good. On the side were home fries, which were cubes of potato that tasted very good, and toast, which was toasted well. We paid for our meal up front. The cashier used a swivel touch-pad for a cash register. As we were leaving, another employee thanked us and said goodbye.

Me and my family visited one afternoon and were blown away by our meal, the friendly waitress, and the charming retro interior here. The space is small, but it only adds to the charm. The first thing that caught my eye was the checkered flooring and all of the wall decor. This diner was everything I expected from a diner. I ordered a french onion soup with a swiss mushroom burger. They seem to have many soup options, im assuming they change the soups depending on the day. My father ordered pancakes that were larger than his head! But honestly, my favorite thing I ordered must have been their iced tea. Something about it was just so refreshing, I made sure to gulp all of it down before we left. If you are hungry and want good food in ginormous portions, this is the place to go.

From the second we walked in, the atmosphere was so charming and nostalgic, right down to the unbelievably reasonable prices. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away with coffee and water while we looked over the menu. One of the coolest parts was being able to watch the food being prepared right in front of us - the entire vibe of the room felt lively, authentic, and honestly hilarious at times. Between the conversations, the energy behind the counter, and the overall ambiance, it genuinely felt like dinner and a comedy show wrapped into one. We ordered the vegetable omelet and the pancake special, and both came out piping hot and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, and comforting in the way classic breakfast spots should. You can tell this place has character, heart, and a loyal following for a reason. This is truly one of those spots that deserves way more attention and is 100% worth stopping into if you're in the area. We easily found a parking spot in the lot. We waited a couple of minutes for the seating hostess to seat us at a table. Then we waited many minutes for our waitress to take our order for drinks and foods. The waitress did not bring out our foods until 40 minutes into our visit! I saw a sign that the restaurant was hiring employees, and I assume that we had long waits because of understaffing. Here are my reviews for our foods: Strawberry waffle with bacon and eggs - 5 stars - The waffle was a good size and was topped with fresh strawberries and lots of whipped cream. On the side were crispy bacon and eggs that were cooked sunny-side-up as I had requested. Ham and cheese omelette with turkey sausage, potato pancakes, and toast - 5 stars - My husband ate this entree, and he enjoyed it. Our bill was $31 plus a tip.
