Never go to these guys. They just want to suck money from us. Last friday I went to them as there was a problem with my key and lock. I was facing issues in turning the key to start the car. The guy in the reception, he didn't even check the car or never came near the car, after hearing what i said he gave me a estimate of 400$. I wanted to recheck it and I didn't like his way of judging the problem without even having a look at it, so I went to a local service center, and he took a look at it and told to try the other key which worked. So never go to this service center and if at all u go, just do what u wanted to do and dont take their advise or suggestions. read more

Can I say how amazing this place is!!! Gaby and Keith provided exceptional customer service and repairs towards my Nissan Altima. I went to pepboys and was told my exhaust hanger needed to be completely removed. Knowing this was going to cost me a pretty penny. Keith was able to align my exhaust hanger back instead of a full installation. On top of that he was able to identify a leak that was causing rattling and damage towards my car. Instead of doing another full installation he was able to weld the hold. Did I mention he only charged me $60 for all of this!!! I came here for an oil change for my 2012 VW Golf. European cars are usually difficult to service and some shops dont even service them at all. After leaving initially I noticed my car felt and sounded louder than before. I also lost a hubcap from them not putting them on correctly. I called them and they got me in for another appointment to check it over and make sure that everything was done correctly. There was a simple mistake with the oil filter that they fixed and my car was as good as new. They also replaced the lost hubcap. The front desk ladies were super nice and helpful. BEWARE Huge waste of time. Spent over two hours before they told me the Groupon I bought was not valid. The (Keith) manager even suggested to another customer that they not buy the Groupon and he would offer him the same price. So today i needed to get breaks for my car asap and called around to multiple places and these guys by far were the best over the phone. They were very inviting, didnt rush me off the phone and very efficient when i asked for a quote. When i got there they took my car back quickly and let me know what needed to be done. After a Standard oil change. They inspect your viechle which you dont ask for but okay I deal. However, they left my cabin air filter opened and I went in to get it fixed. At that point, the service advisor Kristen Maselli at 7710 s. Autoplex loop Tempe, AZ was quite rude to me telling me I signed terms and conditions. She raised her voice at me and her had saying she didnt appreciate that attitude then stormed off. I have never been treated with such rudness before. The people at Midas made mistakes and spammed my phone number which they dont warn you about before hand. I will not be returning to midas and neither should anyone that values good customer service or just plain respect. read more

Above and beyond my expectations! I received helpful and friendly customer service. I needed an oil change and they discovered a leek coming from the pressure sensor. I was having a car issue, specifically the transmission, and took it in to get it checked out. Keith had the workers look at it and they said they couldn't find any issues with it or any leaks. They hooked my car to a diagnostic tool and found a couple issues but the part I really appreciated was they told me that they can't work on it because they aren't certified in the type of car it was, a Honda hybrid. I really appreciate the upfrontness and the honestly, which is rare with the world of mechanics. I asked how much it would cost for the diagnostic and they said free of charge. I have been to this location several times but have never met the manager until my last oil change. Keith Kramer, the general manager was talking on the phone as I entered their facility and he was cussing nonstop over the phone and getting frustrated. I was surprised to hear such a conversation in front of a customer...after he got off the phone, he did not even apologize or say anything like"sorry you had to hear that." Not a good impression for customers, although they get the job done.It's sort of a shame to see a manager do this, when I work in customer service as well. One of the other workers apologized to me instead for his rude manager (didn't get his name but he is always around). The other employee is always so verbal and likes to keep the customers happy and laughing, he even gave me a free oil change on my next visit, which the manager should have offered something like that. Mike and the Manatee (Kieth) were awesome today. I came in all frantic needing my battery replaced and before I could even finish explaining what was wrong they were already looking at my car. The entire process took 20 minutes max. Before stopping at Midas, I waited over an hour at Walmart without being acknowledged once. This place has awesome customer service. I was able to get my car in last minute for a brake pad change. The whole time the staff was super engaging with me while I waited. They answered all of my questions and even walked me into the garage to show me exactly what was going on with my car. A/C went out. Took into Midas and was told I need a new compressor - $1800. One day later a/c still out. Took to another Midas to fix - warranty. They didn't want to honor the warranty because the 1st Midas never did any work - there was no new compressor. I basically gave them 1800 for nothing. 3 on your side could care less. Misleading and aggressively trying to UPSELL! I called this business to ask for a price on some brake pads for my car, explaining the name, model, and specific things I was looking for (Including turning the rotors) and was given a price $119 to repair them. When I came down to the store, they said they needed to look at the brakes, but they assured me that they would have the brakes done relatively quickly. When I came back, they told me that I needed over $500 in brake work done including much more expensive brake pads, an additional charge to drain my "bad brake fluid", and an additional charge on top of the very expensive pads to turn the rotors. He also said I needed an air filter, and was going to charge extra time for that as well. Fortunately, I received three quotes, and went to another store who charged me $131, and told me that my brake fluid was fine, the rotors were in fine shape and would be turned as part of the service, and that he could replace the filter for $20. I am COMPLETELY angry that Midas would not only lie to me over the phone, but tried to add extra charges and assertively told me I had to have this service when I knew my car was relatively new, and didn't need any of the extra services he was trying to upsell. After reading the terrible reviews I decided to try this place out anyways since I just needed a new valve stem because mine had torn. To start it out lady at the front desk is sick and kept rubbing her nose and then touching my keys, GROSS. I look over and some Julio is driving my truck like he's Lightening McQueen into the repair shop. His hands are dirty, the stalls are so close he bangs my door up against the side trying to get out of the truck. I'm sitting in the waiting room, guy pulls me out side and asks what kind of "shit" is in my tires? I tell him I had self balancing stuff in them. He says it could affect the sensor reading and that its probably messed up because of the product. My sensors have always read perfect on my truck I've never had a problem with them I tell him. He says okay (at this point I'm 100% sure Julio driving my truck that took off the tire broke the sensor so they are trying to blame it on the self balancing tire stuff) so here I am sitting in the waiting room, pissed because I didn't go to Purcell tires because it had a two hour wait. Will never come back here again and I haven't even got my car back yet. This is the Walmart of tire centers and avoid this place at all costs. read more

I agree with the previous review... I was happy at first but then my "check engine" light came on right after I took my car for an oil change at this Midas location. I also thought it was a coincidence. I went to Auto Zone to get a free diagnostic and since it wasn't anything major I decided to wait until my next oil change. The next time I went to Midas they gave me a list of things I had to fix that were going to cost hundreds of dollars. Once again i thought it was a coincidence. Then, I gave my roommate a coupon to go there to get an oil change and guess what? her car broke within a few hours of the oil change. She called and they were not very helpful and just wanted to charge her hundreds of dollars to fix the problem they caused. coincidence? I don't think so! read more

Went in to get my brakes fixed and I think it was Mike, or Keith, but the guy was super nice and personable. They took care of my car and also made sure that I knew everything. Tina let me know about another major problem and they fixed that for me too. She was also just the sweetest lady. I would recommend it, and I don't know how there are negative reviews. read more

Don't take your vehicle to this location unless you want to be scammed into buying new tires. I took my vehicle in last week for an oil change, and a "free alignment", and was indeed scammed into buying new tires. The "free alignment" is how they initiate the tire scam. They put my vehicle on the lift, removed all 4 tires, then brought me out to the garage to show me that all of my tires were worn and needed to be replaced. 2 of them were somewhat worn, so I agreed to have them replaced. The mechanic tried talking me into an entire set, at a cost of $715.00. They must have had a tire quota to meet that day, because I heard them tell 2 other customers that their tires were worn and needed to be replaced as well. Okay, literally just left here after a one and a half hour oil change with only 3 cars in the shop at the time (You tell me how the hell that works.) Upon receiving their complimentary inspection, I was told it would be 1500 to take care of everything on the inspection!
