beware! the owner mike does not keep his agreements,this shop is a firing factory ,this shop practices unethical business practices beware if you have your oil changed here , your vehicle manufacture may require 5w-20w oil, or any other specified oil requirement,this midas shop has only one oil despising gun and only one bulk oil container = you will get only 5w-30w and this could void your manufactures warranty.....beware the invoice states 5w-20w but they are putting in 5w-30w....there is a reason they cant retain any employees....lies and deception and shady business practices. if you are an uber driver and need an auto safety inspection ,go to another shop! this shop will use this inspection to leverage unnecessary repairs because they have a spiff program to get employees to make false recommendations, this shop has only one tech with mechanic experience , all others are trainees learning by mistakes on your car and charging you for them.they prey on the elderly customers ,making statements like ''you will crash if you dont fix this now '' ....if you need evidence to support any of these statements just call and see if you can speak with mike the owner #1 he will never be available to speak with his customers #2 closely listen to his answer about mike being a man of his word. #3 ask why does he goes through so many employees (i know of 7 people he interviewed and then ether fired them or reduced the compensation these employees agreed upon with a handshake,in just a two week time period)....everything is based on results,mike and company only offers reasons. read more

My battery light came on and I thought nothing of it until I started to smell something awful... I had the battery replaced a few months before at Autozone, so I stopped by there first. The guys at Autozone said there was an electrical fire because of my alternator and I needed to get my car serviced ASAP. I had one hour to pick my kids up from school and since we just moved back from Minnesota, I didn't have the slightest idea where to go. They suggested Midas across the street and I am beyond grateful for that! I walked into Midas frazzled and terrified that I did not have a chance to shop around for prices before bringing my car in. Right away, I was greeted by Jose and Jonah. I quickly explained my situation and without hesitation, Jonah grabbed my kids to pull the car into a bay and Jose began writing up my paperwork. Both gentleman were diligent and efficient, making me feel safe and much calmer! To top it off Jonah tossed me the keys to his personal vehicle, so I could pick my kids up from school. By the time I returned, I was greeted with smiles and cold water. They only needed 10 more minutes to finish my car and I was out of there for less than originally quoted! I had a great experience at Midas on 83rd Ave. in Peoria AZ. The customer service was very friendly and professional. Richard took really good care of my car and my son and daughter-in-laws vehicle. We left feeling like we were part of the Midas family. I would truly recommend anyone to this location. In addition, their location is wheelchair-accessible with accommodating parking and bathroom facilities. I had a very bad experience with Midas. I brought my car to them for a diagnostic and repair, and they charged me for the service but failed to fix the problem. The same day I picked up my car, it was still not working correctly -- the issue was exactly the same as before. I trusted them to do the job right, but they didn't. I tried to resolve it with them, but they refused to take responsibility. Now the matter is in court because I'm trying to get my money back. Very disappointed in their service and honesty. I would not recommend this location to anyone who expects real diagnostics or proper repairs. read more

I use this location for all of my car repair needs. The staff are kind, courteous, and honest. They make their recommendations, but always try to save me money. Today I went in for a transmission diagnostic, and the News was not great. Rather than pushing for a transmission replacement or rebuild at their location, they suggested a looking into a specialist Aamco, or even suggesting that the repair was not worth it based on the value of my vehicle. Folks really did a good job with my car alignment stuff. They were actually very co-operative. Even though I changed my apt at last moment and came late too, they extended their working hours for 45 mins more, and got my car work done with PERFECTION. After enduring a nightmare a local tire center where my rims and lug studs were damaged, I went over to Midas to have them examine the damage and replace the studs. Ritchie was incredible. He and the mechanic were able to fix the problem and get me back on the road safely. The customer service was five star. I went in for an issue with my car overheating thinking my thermostat needed to be replaced since it is a known issue on my vehicle. While it was related, it was really a short in a connecting wire that they fixed while I waited in the lobby. It was much cheaper than expected too. read more
