Honestly not happy with my experience at Discount Tire. Back in October I paid $700 for all 4 new tires and this location was the last location to touch any of my tires. I ended up having a broke stud most likely because they overtightened it and they had to refer me to another shop to get it fixed. I waited almost 2 hours just for the invoice referral because Manager Philip was in a meeting. Not only did I wait 2 hours for the invoice but the Brake Masters shop I was referred too, I went to and scheduled in advance and they told me they would order the part that day, that way when I come back for the appointment they would have it ready. They did not have the part the day of my appointment and I ended up waiting 4 hours instead of the 2 hours estimate time I was told in the beginning because they waited to order the part the same day. 6 Hours total, I've had to put towards this inconvenience. I spoke to Manager Philip with feedback based on my experience and his solution was, he "will look into another referral shop to recommend and next time I come in for a service, ask for him and he will make sure everything gets done correct and quickly". Not really happy with his solution or response because I will not be coming back to Discount Tire for any service after these inconveniences and overall experience. read more

Can't even begin to describe how great of guys they are. I understand that at the end of the day they are selling tires and a service, but I can absolutely say they care about their customers safety over everything. I can tell it begins with their manager down. Their manager Philip is an amazing guy. He is incredibly professional, and the associate that took care of me Cameron also was incredibly professional. I didn't feel pressured by either of them to do anything I wasn't prepared(or unable to do) and Philip decided to make sure I was safe when I didn't realize how bad my tires were. I didn't realize that they wouldn't make it to the new year and I couldn't afford to do anything at this point due to the holidays. Philip decided to take care of my issue and get me safe tires, and on him so I can get me and my family back home safely. I can't put into words just how grateful I am to Philip and Cameron for all they did. I purchased 2 sets of tires (8) my second day waiting and 3hrs in the Lobby. 0,NONE, ZIP, NADA, ZERO INSTALLED yet . Make sure to plan your whole day around your visit... maybe even two. Discount tire employees are the new AutoZone employees! I've purchased 3 full sets of tires at this location the first two times I ended up spending an extra two hours after my appointment so they can get to my vehicle. They were putting other vehicles ahead of my because it was an easier job. My second time purchasing wheels here they ended up messing up my rims, which they never fully corrected. Another time I came to get one of my vehicles, air checked, and they ended up stealing all my stem valves cap Which cost me $15, in another time they ended up stealing all my steam valves caps and ended up putting two cheap ones and leaving the other two without anything on, And 2 out of the 3 times I've had to put my tires in my vehicle with no help. The employees are lazy. The last time I purchased a full set of tires they ended up giving me the wrong with, but I didn't say anything because everybody in there is incompetent. And the most annoying part is that they're always trying to sell me a tire even when I don't need them because they go off of discount scam ratings, you're always getting people to buy tires just because they don't know any better. I've been a Discount Tire customer for a long time for my small commuter car, light truck and large motor home. Today, I was reminded why I always go there. Over the weekend, my TPMS warned me and I found a nail in the tire resulting in a slow leak. First thing (8am) I showed up at at their shop on W Buckeye and by 8:45 they finished the repair & rebalanced. They are very responsive, efficient and with a smile!! Went in to see if they could help patch my tore because of a blade, said they couldn't because of the tire, they said i needed to but a new one and its a brand new tire, im not going to pay that for something that can be patched. Then i asked of they could at least put air in my tire so i can make it home because it was leaking air and i like 5 mins away, the guy ALSO SAID NO. I love coming to this location. I have 2 other different location within 15 min drive and by far, this is the best location for me. Justin, the manager, is awesome to deal with. Waiting time, not as long as the others and they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Even better when you make an appointment because it's quicker. Not this location. So let's began nail in tire my son takes it on a Friday they said it's not repairable. And said tire isn't under warranty so I'm like why did I buy a warranty then . So they said let's do this we will cover it but your other rear needs to be replaced I said ok cool I'll buy it and you cover the other .They call me for the key to unlock spare. Then I said since I'm getting it repaired can we just leave it over night and replace as soon as tire gets there. Ok cool so next day wondering on my truck I called on hold for like five minutes call back they said yes it's ready and then the guy says hold on let me check . On hold again for four minutes getting frustrated now so they said tires aren't there yet but guy just said it's done he said he doesn't know he wasn't here yesterday . Whatever that means so this guy Angel like has no customer service skills. I mean you don't respond to somebody saying yesirrrrrr. Like I'm his friend on the street. So a little later get a text saying truck will be done by 6/7 pm I'm like wtf. So I call back asking ? S and get put on hold , call back they pick up then just hang up now I'm calling again and driving over there as I'm still on hold I live two miles away so I walk in waiting at the counter and this kid Angel just standing right next the phone then he picks up. Dude I'm right here being on hold for like ten minutes. So now I'm asking why is my truck not getting done and before I got another guy answered and said my tires been there awhile I'm like whhhhhhhaaaaat, back the story back to why it's not getting done is because these people been there and had appointments, I mean my truck has been there since the night before . And they said soon as tire gets there they will put it on . Never happened . So sitting in wait room patiently till it gets done . I see someone walk to my truck and I go out there and said my rim is falling off the tire literally getting ready to be riding on the pavement. So I told guy stop and asked if we can put the spare tire on so we can drive it it . Kaleb the Manager come out all cocky,I said dude your gonna be riding on my rim .mind there aftermarket 24" . And he said how else we gonna get it in there . Then I said if you guys ruin my rim you guys are responsible he said no we are not. I'm like wow . I can believe we are doing this right now so I ask him if his guys can bring the Jack out and change the tire he said no it's a liability I'm like are you serious . We keep going back and forth then he says he said I can just refund you your money and you can somewhere else . I'm like wtf. And then he brought up a time when discount damaged one of my rim's couple years back and they ended up buying me all new rims cause they didn't make my old rims no more . And I ask him why is this even being brought up and what does this have to do with the situation I told him nothing . There was no give with this guy . So I said I change it myself so my wife shows up getting ready to change it . We didn't have the lock for the rim and they said we can't let you use it I'm like all I want is my new tires on that's it . So I'm like can't get the rim off cause last time discount kept my key to my rims . Anyways my wife goes back inside a little later they come out and my wife said they are gonna put the spare on I'm like this is all I wanted . Why does it take my wife to come down here and Kaleb to change his mind so they bring comes out put spare on and drive it in . By now I'm heated like bad keeping my cool so the they were gonna let me change my rim in front of a tire shop that specializes in this . So we are waiting inside Kaleb calls my wife over not me my wife and is totally like the nicest person in the world . So I over hear him say we are gonna refund you $271 for the inconvenience. I'm like we could have avoided this altogether if he just would have just put my spare on for instead of being a a total jerk .no reason for it . No apologies to me and my son just my wife which it's not her truck it's mine . So truck is done and I told my wife I've always been a Discount Tire guy I mean I six cars that. Get tires from here . But now I am having second thoughts . After he said take my business elsewhere . So go out to eat that night noticed they put my tires on the wrong side cause they are directional tires go only one way . So had to make an appointment for Monday but I did not take to 99 lowerbuckeye I took it to 99 th McDowell. In and out no problem . And also I reached out to there cooperate office since Monday going on Friday no calls no nothing . I just thought someone would reach out . I guess not to concerned on how there tire shops are ran . Never been treated like that it's like he had a chip on his shoulder but like I said I kept my cool. And in that situation I almost blew up but not worth it . This place scratches custom wheels.and doesn't want to fix them. I have 22x12 wheels on 35 inch tires. Went in for new tires and they scratched every one of my wheels. If you have big wheels and tires don't go there the bitches in the shop can't handle the heavy weight and aren't properly trained. read more

You must have the patience of Job if you plan to come here. They are always booked and packed and the wait time will make you cringe however, they do a great job! My husband took my car in to have new tires put on and once I finally got my car back- I was so impressed! It felt I was in a brand new car all over again. My car drove so much better. I don't think I've ever received that type of precision and quality from any other big name brand auto store or even the local tire shops. My husband even told me that the manager on duty attempted to go above and beyond for another customer who sounded so irritated and not understanding. It takes a lot to try to professionally deescalate an upset customer transaction so the fact that he took the time to try and do so says what kind of person and associate he is, I don't think that should be overlooked at all. Especially when people are so quick to blow you off and not give a damn! Also, I wanted to personally thank whomever did my install because he did that great of job but this review will have to suffice :) So thank you to the team over at this store! read more

Another instance, I had my tires replaced as usual, however they cracked my rim in the process I had no clue until later that day when I noticed my car prompting me my tire was low. I came in on lunch break to have a screw removed from my new tires that I bought somewhere else. They remove the screw and patch my tire for free and did it in 15 minutes... The staff was incredibly fast and friendly and I couldn't ask for anything more. Highly suggest you bring your car or truck here for any tire needs. read more

Came in yesterday to get a quote to get all 4 new tires, and I was immediately greeted and helped by Lupe. He was friendly, professional and informative (because I know nothing of tires other than they are round) and he did not try to sale me anything, unnecessarily. I came back in today, without an appointment and, again, was immediately helped by Lupe. I was there less than an hr getting my tires placed, he also kept me updated half way through letting me know how things were going. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! I will give you three stars because it is discount tire and discount tire is awesome. But this particular discount tire was not so much. I will stick to the discount tire on 99th Ave. and McDowell Road. I was not given any paperwork whatsoever. And I had another issue with the tire sensors and another issue with the rebate. I am happy you built this discount tire close to my house, but will continue to make the drive to get the discount tire quality service that you expect. read more

I walked out of my house at 5:30 to find that both drivers side tires were flat. After a little bit of time with a bicycle pump I made it to this discount tire which is right up the street. At 5:59 they were nice enough to take in my car, got me two new tires and now I don't have to miss work tomorrow because of their awesome customer service.
