This location is trash vs the location on Dysart in Avondale, which is about 10 minutes away. I don't understand how I continue to run into the same issues it seems on a month to month basis. Perhaps, an inept management team who lacks the knowledge of maintaining accountability with their employees. Produce is purchased and becomes moldy within days. Meat expiration on shelves. Dairy products not in stock. Yet the Dysart location doesn't ever have any of these issues. I don't want anymore free gift cards to keep my mouth shut. I want change. My review is about the cafe .... The food was good. I do understand that it does get very busy so I am very patient [[HIGHLIGHT]]I noticed how every worker had a role and was busy they were all doing amazing! All, expect for one. She has young, dark hair, and wearing glasses she was with customers delivering items. After what felt like fighting my through the parking lot, I finally may my way inside. For how hectic the parking lot was, I was surprised to see the store only moderately busy. Like any big box store, some things are great deals, others not so much. I was there to help a nonprofit group stock up on snacks, and non perishable meals. I myself am not a member of Sam's Club. I did do/was allowed a little shopping for myself while there. For the most part, shelves were neatly stocked. Lots of different types of merchandise was available. Seasonal items for outdoor living were at the front of the store. My biggest complaint is that price signs were either completely missing, or not in the right spot. For example, an endcap of shoes. The left side had a higher price that the right. There were no shoes matching the price on the right, but they had stocked the shoes corresponding to the sign on the left acress the entire endcap. Found a stack of shirt I was interested in. No price signs were up for them. Some crackers we were looking to buy were missing prices. These were just a few examples. Self checkout was easy. First experience in a Sam's club and I'm already canceling my membership. Took over an hour to check out at 1 pm on a Tuesday. Seriously, people were taking out their phones to take pictures. Waited 20 minutes to order at the food court only to have to line up for 20 more minutes and show my receipt to finally receive my food. Understaffed everywhere except where they check your receipt to make sure you didn't steal (5 people standing). I understand it's busier due to holidays but you need to staff appropriately. Went directly to Costco ordered and got my food within 5 minutes. Took about 20 minutes to check out at 4 pm. read more

I placed a curbside pick up before store hours. The app allowed me to schedule a pick up between 3 pm-4 pm the same day. I arrived at 3:30 and have been here for an hour with no confirmation text, no updates to my order. That isn't the frustrating part because I chose to show up without an alert. The frustrating part is when you constantly try to call the store to ask if you can go inside and pick up what's already paid for, and the phone keeps ringing and ringing non stop. The 800 number is worse. I tried to cancel my order and they say they are unable to. I have to wait a week for it to drop off. For a company who continues to increase fees to their membership, with no additional incentives to the consumer, the least they can do is hire enough people to provide the customer corporate lies to us about. read more

One of the managers by the name of Zoe, was absolutely AWESOME!! There was an item I was looking for at several Sam's locations that didn't have it, but she assisted in finding it on the TOP of one of the rows. She indicated they were short of staff and didn't have anyone to bring it down until 3:00 p.m. We went to lunch & came back and Zoe was a jewel in asking for it to be brought down after their meeting as a customer was waiting for it. The old lady at the front door is a clown. Demanding to see every persons club card before you are allowed entry like a ticket taker at the movies. If you don't show it to her and allow her to study it she will chase you into the store. I don't have a Sam's club card myself, but my fiancé does; we dropped her at the front door, parked and then went to meet up with her in the store. I had my 2 girls with me and a hand in each hand so even if I had a card, very inconvenient to stop and dig it out with both hands occupied. Sam's Club or Costco.... Which To Choose. I have memberships at both Costco and Sam's Club . However, Sam's Club is closer to my house, so when I am short on time Sam's Club is usually my choice. In General, while Sam's Club and Costco offer good value I think Costco sells better products and merchandise and has better customer service. On a positive note the gas at Sam's Club seems to be the cheapest in town as compared to the gas at my local Costco. However, both are good clubs. read more

Club #6606 in Phoenix is the absolute worst of the many Sam's I have been to. Received an email saying my pickup order was canceled. Contacted the online help desk - they couldn't tell me why the store had cancelled the order. Attempted to contact the store directly. The phone rang over EIGHTY times. The email said that the order was cancelled for one of 3 reasons: 1) I had requested a cancellation (I didn't) 2) I had missed my pickup (I hadn't. It was scheduled for the next day 3) All items were out of stock. I placed a duplicate order at the Sam's Club 15 miles away and am able to pick it up this afternoon. Still haven't been able to reach Club #6606. Interesting to note that the online help person told me that "There have been several complaints about the lack of customer service at this club." We frequently visit this location and never had any issues. Parking can get crazy on the weekends as well as the check out lines. But they're better then Costco! We never pay at the register and instead pay through their Sams Scan and Go app! Saves you so much time! They have a good selection of items and their cakes/cupcakes are really good! Seeing a lot of reviews here for rude employees, I was ready to experience them my first time shopping Sam's Club in Maryvale (yuckiest part of Phoenix, AZ) I saw no bums in the parking lot. The staff in the store were smiling, laughing & friendly to me- even though I showed up at the last minute 1/2 hr before closing time to get my new members card & do quick shopping. Entering the store realized I had no cart, so went to the entrance/exit doors to look for one. The rather "village idiot"-type staff member smiled & told me I can't get a cart (they're outside the door) until another customer arrived to shop & tripped the automatic door (so I could run out & grab a cart from the outside) ! I answered "What if NO other customers arrive??" shows the genius hired at Sam's Club: customers are *not* their priority. Luckily another last minute shopper did arrive, thus opening the auto-doors & I reached out to grab a (giant) cart. The store layout is such that you can see afar sections from your perspective, so you know where to race your cart to next. EVERY thing is in giant economy sizes- so you better plan on shopping for the month, unless you're feeding a family of eight. Apparently they do not stock fresh garlic?? Bizarre... they do carry pre-peeled refrigerated garlic cloves in gargantua-sized vacuum paks. I needed mushrooms, but not a cafeteria stocking sized batch- skip their mushrooms. I could not find capers, but feared if I had, I'd have to buy a 10 gallon jug or none at all. The produce section appeared clean, fresh. The prices on fresh fruits and vegetables VERY reasonable, less than anywhere else I find locally. 4lb bag of HoneyCrisp apples: $6.48, or $6.84 something. I opted for the "ENVY" apples, which to me are the same apple- at approx $4. for 4# bag. Beautiful navel oranges at $8. for 8lb bag(about a dollar a lb) very good. The seafood section is remarkable: giant King? crab legs- huge! Many varieties of seafood for all tastes. The beef section seemed a bit sparse, but I was there just before closing. Prices on fresh meats very appealing- I wonder if Sam's Club is lowest price of all local stores? They may be. Surprised to find no bags/packages/wrapping were provided for purchased items, the paid for items merely set back in your cart. Bring your own bags? is that it? If you need a "normal" sized bottle of ketchup, or a few mushrooms for a dinner recipe, skip shopping here. This is for "stocking up" sizes only. And bring your own bag! PS- this store at McDowell is in a miserable location. This may be my first and last experience there- next one will be the Dysart store in Litchfield Park. read more

I give this a no star rating due to my mother in law buying a ninja blender worth $100 and something dollars we tried to return it the next day after purchasing and they said no refund or exchange it . We seen that the parts are super different from what we got and the blender was broken and seen someone tried to glue it back together so as of this day they're refusing to give us our money back or exchange because they said we had to return it the same day as purchased which is ridiculous when it says a 90 day return policy called main corporate like sams told us to and they cant do anything either poor management and customer services and the main boss is rude to read more
