    The waiting area was well kept and they even had popcorn on the house to give to customers in case they needed some snacks :) the lobby was also immaculate! No smells, no debris, and it was quite relaxing to me. I requested that the brakes and the AC be serviced, for both of them had major problems. They went with the most economical but still high quality solutions for my brakes. They discovered that there was still salvageable parts on the brakes so they used much of that to their advantage to keep cost reasonable and after my discount it came to a nice price for auto work! I'm going to rain check for the AC though. Nevertheless, thank you Juan and the Midas crew!

    Manager comps oil change in hopes of buying me off after being caught giving dishonest pricing

    Dishonest pricing / price gouging Invoice # 0171974 on Saturday, 10/28, I brought my 2014 Ram in for an oil change. about 30 minutes later, John called me and told me my radiator had rust in it, and would need to be replaced, at a cost of $1200.00 I don't work on cars, but this sounded overpriced to me, so I told John to hold off, and I would call him back. I looked up the radiator that fits my truck. Prices varied from $115 at RockAuto, to $211 at O'Reilly auto parts. I called two other shops, who both quoted around $700 to replace it, both parts and labor I called John back and told him this, and he replied "no problem, we will match that price" He knocked $500 off instantly, showing that the original price was heavily inflated. When I told him I wasn't fond of his dishonest pricing, he tried to justify the price gouging by saying that's just our starting price, so we can price match other places. So, rather than have honest, upfront pricing, what he is telling you is that if you don't research his quotes, he will do his best to overcharge you heavily. He knew he was caught doing shady business, so he tried to buy me off by comping the oil change. (See pic)

    Very clearly needed to be flushed but they did not recommend at the time.

    These people don't know how to pull a air filter in or tighten Lug nuts or top off the oil . I highly suggest do not go here.

Then we heard through the grapevine that our friend Gary started working at Shorie. We'd instantly trust any shop he worked at. Coincidentally, our vehicle began making loud noises and needed attention just about then. Perfect timing. Evidently, when cooling fans vibrate enough, they break off and cause severe damage to your radiator. So, we had our vehicle towed into the shop and had a rental for over a week because we had to help some friends in Yuma. Schorie was fantastic. They did all the work on our vehicle while we were out of town. It needed a few more things, so we authorized the additional work. The estimate was less than other shops had quoted us (for the front rotors and breaks). We came home, drove over, picked up our vehicle, and were super happy with the work that was done and the warranty terms. Aric was terrific to deal with the entire time on the phone and then in the office as well. The shop is run well, prices are decent, and they have a super warranty to back up their service on your vehicle. Highly recommend.

    I had a great experience with this mobile mechanic. He came out to me and replaced my A/C…read morecompressor, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

    I am giving two stars because of the only positives: they scheduled my inspection within a few days…read moreof calling and Justin, the technician that arrived, was very nice. However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.
