After inspection, was sent a comprehensive evaluation AND was taken through all the points by Brian (Bryan?), and shown/told that car had a coolant leak that was likely going to result in having a $5000+ repair sooner than later. Some of the BEST $ I ever spent! I ALWAYS suggest pre-purchase inspection of ANY used car, irrespective of ANY dealership saying "we thoroughly inspect all of our vehicles."

Mistakes happen, and he was quick to correct it. Thank you, Mike! ********************************************************* My husband brought my car over to AZ Automasters in February of 2024. We had never been there before, but I had just had new control arms and ball joints put in and since the tires were also brand new, my mechanic who did that work recommended an alignment. AZ Automasters kept the car overnight and my husband picked it up the following day. My husband stated that he asked the employees if the alignment was off and by how much, and that no one could answer his questions or seemed to "know anything about anything." But he did say that the employees working the morning he picked it up were not the same ones who were working when he dropped it off. He didn't leave feeling super confident but they said the car was done so he left and that was that. This car is kept in a garage, has not been in any accidents, hit any curbs or anything of that nature, and is well loved. I have put 8000 miles on the vehicle since the alignment. The other day we realized that the tires should probably be rotated and were horrified to notice that the outside of the passenger front tire was completely bald, the inside of the tire barely worn. We went over to where we purchased the tires as they are warranteed to 80,000 miles, but because they deemed it an "alignment issue", I had to purchase a brand new tire out of pocket. Not only did I waste $118.00 at AZ Automasters as they did not complete the alignment I paid for, I'm out an additional $145 for a new tire and still need to get the car aligned. I'll certainly be getting alignment, but it won't be at AZ Automasters. *Edit* I just had a front end alignment at a reputable shop where the employees actually care about their customers. They had to take a torch to the tie-rod jam nuts as they were totally locked up on both sides. This would NOT have had to be done had AZ Automasters done the work they were paid to do a year and a half ago. Also, this shop, who did the alignment using lasers, was able to show us via computer what they adjusted and how much, which AZ Automasters could not do for us. And this new place was cheaper! Lesson learned to shop around!

I brought my car in because it was making a noise every time I started it. I was told the timing…read morechain needed to be replaced and that it would fix the problem. I paid approximately $4,400 for the repair, but when I got my car back, the exact same noise was still there. I contacted the shop and was told the car was fine and to ignore the noise. I was also told the repair was covered by a six-month guarantee. When I brought the car back under that guarantee, I was then told the noise was caused by something else and that I would need to pay for additional repairs. When I asked for a refund because the original issue had not been fixed, the owner became angry and used profanity toward me. I understand that diagnoses can change, but I expected the original problem to be resolved or for the guarantee to be honored without being charged for more repairs. Unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed, and I cannot recommend this shop.

I needed some repairs on an exhaust system Wade installed seven years ago, (I blew out one the…read moremuffler seams). I ordered the same mufflers, because they sounded good and lasted 7 years. I was in and out in under two hours. While they had it up on the lift, they replaced four hangers and made sure the 3" exhaust pipes in my 66 GTO were still positioned correctly. No noises from suspension travel, and sounds perfect. It's good to see the next generation performing great work.

They had to cut my exhaust in order to install it, which was the first red flag, although I must…read moreadmit it does seem to be staying in place quite well. I know this, because I had to go under my own vehicle and torque the nuts to spec after driving 500 miles, which is recommended. I mentioned this at the time of install and the guy told me that they would be able to handle it for me for FREE when the time came, which I think should be expected considering that every new exhaust should have this treatment. Instead, when I called back they told me that I would have to pay, and then couldn't even give me a straight quote. I was only able to reach two of the nuts on the exhaust, but they didn't need any tightening luckily. Here's to hoping that any other nuts are torqued to spec, because I can't afford to be overcharged at this point in my life.
