I took my 2015 Honda Accord in for a engine swap a few weeks ago & I'm happy with the work that they did great its running strong & like new. The manager Amado is always friendly. Highly recommend those guys at Midas read more

Going back to this place. Amado always let's me know what steps are best suited for the situation.

The store manager Amado Ochoa is such a great guy ! He's very understanding and will try his best to work with you ! Best midas that I have ever been to come check them out ! read more

Rude! Shop manager had a bad attitude. Terrible service would not change my brakes because it was too late and my guys leave in 55 min? As a first time customer, I was disappointed after they took over an hr to inspect my car just to tell me my brakes are bad and when I asked for them to knock it out they denied me and said to come back when I have time? I told I'm not in the area can you help me now so I won't lose my deposit? Manager would not make an exception. Terrible service. Disappointed in Midas overall as a company. Maybe you need to develop your managers on doing what's right for your clients to keep customers coming back. read more

The manager, Amado, does a great job in customer service! He takes time with the customers to make sure they have a pleasant car repair/maintenance experience. I would definitely recommend this location for all your car service needs! read more

Been there this morning. Nice staff. Got there at 8:00, so no wait time. Served right away. I was told 30-40 mins. They finished the work like 15 min. read more

DON'T GO HERE FOR EXHAUST WORK (I recommend Roger's Custom Exhaust near the Fontana WalMart) This place needs to stick to oil changes - I was having trouble passing smog and had a CAT in$talled here awhile ago. The "weld" job was such POOR QUALITY, that it failed to last very long. When I crawled under the truck at home, I noticed there wasn't a single clean bead and a majority of the pipe had be covered in welding spackle where the mechanic couldn't bother to reach with the welder. The service was frustrating at least. Save yourself the gamble of having to have the job redone like me and take your vehicle to Roger's Custom Exhaust. The staff there was really friendly and took the time to explain everything that would be done and gladly answered any questions I had. It was such a different experience. read more

I contacted the corporate office after getting the run around. They forwarded my complaint to the owner. The owner did absolutely nothing. I took my car to KB auto in Rancho Cucamonga. They found the leak on the first try and fixed it. My car has not leaked oil since. Midas replaced the oil send switch. That was not the problem. KB showed me that the leak was above the oil send unit. The the oil cooler was leaking , badly. The mechanics at Midas were too lazy( or stupid) to check. I don't know how they could have missed it. The leak in the oil cooler was so bad that it was spewing oil all over the engine. Since Midas just wants to give me the run around, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Take your car to KB Auto in Rancho Cucamonga. They are honest and know what they are doing. read more

First off, let me start off by saying to anyone out there that if an auto repair company charges you for the Diagnostic's test plus repairs...DON'T DO IT! Trust me, there are a lot of honest places around the area that are willing to waive the Diagnostic's test charge if you plan on having them do the repairs afterwards. $54 for a diagnostic's test is what they quoted me, when I asked if I plan on having them do the repairs, would they be willing to waive the $54 charge since it only seems fair and the guy at the desk simply answered 'No.' So I moved on because believe it or not, I can understand charging me for a diagnostic's test if I planned on taking it to another auto repair shop, but for me to pay them to run the test to find the problem, just doesn't sit well...besides, I work along diesel mechanics who made sure that I did not settle for just any repair shop. So I journeyed off to Pep Boy's... please see my review on Pep Boy's as my adventure of finding an honest place fix my truck. read more

I've been bringing my cars to the Shell just down the street for a bit after my mechanic left. They do good work but the time frame is difficult especially on weekends. I kept looking until I saw the Midas, just a couple blocks from my house. First car I took even though I did some of the work they didn't complain and instead were like yeah if you have the parts we'll finish it off no worries. I really appreciated that. Second car called and asked if I could make an appointment, Amado just quickly said you can bring it in today I have an opening. Trust me when I say that was really needed it was I took it in and got it back the same day! Thank you and I'm for sure going to bring my cars here all the time now! read more

Don't waste your time. Had a problem with my car shaking and asked them to check the alignment and tires. They came back saying it was uneven wear on the tires and my shocks and struts. I thought that seemed odd as I had barely driven 5000 miles on new tires. Went to another mechanic, tires were fine, shocks and struts were fine, but my alignment was off, meaning Midas didn't even check the thing I asked them to check. read more

Went in for my ABS light, was see right away no waiting. Amazing customer service was able to explain and show me what was exactly wrong and how we could go about fixing the issue. Highly recommend they treat you like family, trying to give you the best prices. read more

I was experiencing my check engine light, and thought it might be connected to the exhaust system, I took my suburban here, they checked out my vehicle and recommend what could be the problem, appreciate them being honest with me and not just charging me, for something that wasn't the issue. Thanks for looking out for the customer. read more

I was driving to Jiffy Lube and seen Midas and thought oh I'll stop here. I drove up at 1:15 mind you they close at 4! I said sir do you have time for. Synthetic oil change and he said no. We're done with oil changes for the day. Oh.... ok. Jiffy lube here i come. Very disappointed read more

So I needed a oil change for my car went to google to see who does oil change for a good price where I stay I saw that midas did it and they have a promotion for it for now so I made an online appointment it was set between 12 and 2. So it says someone will send a confirmation email soon as they get it so the next morning (day of appointment) I got a confirmation email from manny I went around 1 and went inside he was eating lunch and basically told me that he did not have any appointments at that time that he did confirm anything online and he said he would take me but in an hour and it will take a an hour to do a oil change he spoke to me very rude and so I was ok well I come back tomorrow I gave him my info and I left got in my car called my dad and he told me to go to another one so when MANNY do call me for the appointment I will tell him that he spoke to me rudely and I wasting his time like he wasted mines! read more

Ive gotten oil changes, suspension checks, transmission flushes, brake and rotor services and other diagnostics here several times. Some of the stuff can be a bit pricey but they are the most honest/reliable auto service shop I've ever been to. They are very helpful with any auto related questions or concerns. I highly recommend this place read more

I originally took my car to another shop that wanted to charge me an astronomical amount to fix my car. I called Midas and spoke to Amado who was extremely nice and told me that they would take of me and to not worry. So I decided to have my car towed there. Amado did all he could to research in trying to find the part that I needed at an affordable price. When you go, Amado is your guy! read more

Amazing service all the way across the board! employees very nice and will continue to take all my vehicles to this location highly recommend(: read more

I called because as my granddaughter opened the car door the wind blew it out of place. I explained the situation to Amado the manager who told me I could bring the car in and he could see if it could be fixed. From the moment I got to the shop him and one of the mechanics Jose were nothing less then helpful they fixed the door and charged me nothing absolutely nothing because it took Jose a few minutes to fix it. During these unprecedented times when some will take advantage of the situation it's nice to know there are still businesses who hire people with integrity. Keep it up Midas and keep it up Amado and Jose. Highly recommend this establishment. read more

Made an appointment online for 11 am, no one called in 30 minutes as promised on the website so I called them. I asked that they give me a high estimate for rear brakes, my rear brake warning light came on the night before. No grinding, squealing or anything (they did ask) The high estimate was $400 (this is higher than anywhere else I've ever paid) but I presumed it was some crazy situation that would result in a $400 charge. As I register the guy said, oh I heard a noise when you drove up. I said the front squeaks from time to time for years, there is no noise in the rear. I then asked how long it would take. He said about 30 minutes for the inspection results. He also said he was the only one working (so you don't have enough staff to be open and offering services?) $32 and one hour later they tell me I need rear brakes, duh! Oh, and the cost $450! No one mentioned or suggested resurfacing of rotors as most shops do. I was told "we recommend" new rotors. I told them I've never paid $450 for rear brakes and new rotors. I've paid over $500 but less than $600 for both rear and front breaks with new rotors all around at another location so I knew I needed to run for the hills. They need uninformed clients to remain relevant. While this was a recommendation from a friend, I won't recommend them. read more

They're honestly the best! The service and the prices are perfect and I got a cup of fresh coffee while I waited for my car to get done. I would recommend them to everyone I come way from Palmdale to them just to get my car right! read more

Midas - Auto Repair Near Me - Fontana, California

Went to get my alignment, was told my rack and pinion needed to be replaced. I spent over 1,700 to repair it to be told "this may or may not fix your problem" so i agreed to not to put the blame on them if it wasn't a success. Took 4 1/2 days to repair and was told "my best technician worked on it and got it 100%, alignment comes off sometimes but shifts back to normal." Took my keys and as i drove my car off the lot my steering wheel was still crooked and my car started to shake after going 60mph. Took it to another shop, and they fixed what Midas messed up. (Get better technicians who are trained properly). Regret coming here, don't make the same mistake I did. read more

Went in to get new brake pads since I had the lifetime pads from buying my brakes about 3-4 years earlier. I called ahead a couple days an set up a appointment letting them know I had the lifetime deal when I booked my appointment. After arriving for my appointment they gave me a estimate with parts prices, I was confused for a second an asked why am I being charged for parts when I have the lifetime deal. The guy says well you should have told me you had the lifetime deal, I said I did when I made the appointment an also why wouldn't it come up in your system with my name or phone number since he had already ran it. He said it doesn't come up I have to make sure to tell them when I show up to the appointment. When running my name an number again he couldn't find the lifetime deal under my name or phone number so he had to go out an get my license plate number, he still had a little trouble finding it before it finally popped up. Not sure but it seemed like after they found out I had the lifetime deal they were trying to up sell me new rotors our some other part they said was torn but I could fix later. Maybe I just took it that way maybe I'm right I don't know. read more

Went in on a Sunday, spur of the moment due to rear brakes were making intermittent noises. Eddie was able to see us and we got in at 2:00 pm and out by 3:30 pm. He was very helpful and kept us informed. Prices were a lot lower than expected, fearing the worst. I would recommend Eddie and the Midas team. I appreciate his customer service and professionalism not just with us, but saw how he helped others as well. Keep up the great work! My Ford Explorer is not making the noise! Thank you!! read more

I'm a Northern California resident who had an alternator replaced by my local mechanic on Friday, July 13th, then drove to Southern California on Sunday the 15th. On arrival, I had a charging circuit malfunction (running on battery for the entire 370-mile trip.) Late on Monday afternoon, I limped into Midas, and the staff there could not have been more helpful. They diagnosed the problem and even confirmed it to my Morgan Hill CA mechanic. They replaced the bad alternator and had the vehicle ready for me to pick up early Tuesday afternoon. These guys deserve a HUGE shoutout! read more

Nice service . Friendly people working there . They gave me a discount for back brakes (since they fixed my front wheels)

I needed brakes for my company truck and decided to come to this establishment. I spent the day in the lobby waiting for the truck to be completed. Eddie, the site manager, was very helpful, in accommodating my needs. While waiting, customers would come in and call in to make appointments. It was hard not to overhear the issues being described to Eddie. All I want to say is that Eddie was very helpful and extremely honest with these customers as to what there options were. These days most shops will tell you need parts you really don't need, but at Midas-Fontana they keep your pocket book in mind. I will definitely be coming back to this place for future work. Keep up the good work-Eddie. read more

Great service. Made an appointment and service was completed in less than 1 hr. Great value!

Great customer service! Had brake work done on my car at a Midas in Nevada, Nevada store replaced my pads and turned my rotors (so they said) driving home noticed that I still had vibration in the steering wheel.... Brought it in and the service writers were extremely apologetic that the work was not done correctly.... turned the rotors and fixed the issue.... like I said great customer service! read more

Horrible service. Midas sends me coupons for oil change/tire rotation for 19.99. However it is a fight every time. Today when I went in I asked about it and even though the coupon says up to 5 liters they said it should say 5 quarts. My car takes 5 liters but 5.5 quarts so for that reason they have to charge me $2 extra when it is their own coupon saying Liters not quarts. I am proud to say that I am no longer a Midas customer. I have since moved my business. I will lastly add this experience was dealing with the store owner Manny. Don't take your business there as he doesn't care and not willing to work with you at all! read more

Horrible experience! After the first time I came here there was a noise coming from the tires. I came back in today to check the brakes and Willy quoted me 107$ labor, even tho the marquee above him say 96.95/hr.
