Horrible service! I wish we could give a negative rating! The manager was very rude to customers and ripped us off. She had no patience and did not respect us. We ended up paying more for labor than the actual repair! The service we requested was not worth a fraction of the price we paid! The part was only worth $100 and they charged us $1000 for it! They said it would take hours to fix, but they were just talking around and wasting time for almost half the time! When we were still considering whether to use them or get towed again, they pushed our car into their shop to force us to use them without even asking! They also have unqualified technicians who don't know what they are doing. Plus Amado's attitude this morning was Not the best , I don't appreciate someone talking to me on in a louder tone , that's not good costumer service! Amado, Brittany and Jesus took great care of me. I came in with my girlfriends car because she had asked me to go see her mechanic Jesus, 10 miles from my location. There's plenty of mechanics around but I can see now why she asked me to take it to that location. Upon arrival they were having some technical difficulties with their phone, but Amado kept assuring me as soon as he got it up and running he would check me in and move quickly, and he did just that. Nice to see that when there's an issue that changes the quality of service they don't take it lightly. Had my girlfriends brake fluid changed in about an hour despite a few setbacks, which isn't bad compared to where I normally go. I'm actually going back with my own car soon, 10 miles isn't so bad for quality. read more

He helped me arrange for an appointment that was convenient and worked tirelessly to find my parts and explain the work needed. It gets better . When I called to ask for a refund they told me that they have started a troubleshoot process and "it doesn't work like that" I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Seriously, I hope no one ever patronizes this place. Amado is rude and refuses to acknowledge the created and exasperated a problem. He speaks as though common sense isn't common and you're entirely delusional. I told him I refuse to have them touch my car again, he insists they have to keep trying things. I asked him what kind of time and money does he think I have to let them keep my vehicle and keep paying for them to "troubleshoot" the issue. read more

So I've been to a few different Midas always a fan. The owner here is very nice and very honest no bull when it comes what needs fixing and when. No pressure and very easy going. Full synthetic oil change with shell oil was $69 and there was a special out for $10 off. Can't complain. read more

Worst Midas I've ever been to. I've been a customer since 1998. I went to midas in Fontana 2 yrs ago for brakes. After a month my steering wheel began to shake whenever i began to brake. I took it in and the mechanic and front desk told me it was my tires. Got tires and the problem still persisted. I took it back and they finally admitted they used cheap brake pads like I was told by my tire guy. After changing my brake pads my car began to make a noise and when I took it to mechanic I was told someone bent up the cover for my catalytic converter. I'm almost certain it was them! They are terrible please don't support them! read more

Do not recommend this location nor this business. Outside of a simple oil change, do look elsewhere. Car fan began to make clicking sounds so I found a mechanic open on Sunday. Came in and told them specifically there was a clicking sound each time I turn on the fan. The front desk said the AC diagnostic will troubleshoot the issue. Hours later a phone call and they said there is a small leak which they can fix. I asked if that will help with the clicking and they said it should. Hours later again and the car is ready, I asked if there is still clicking? Front desk said not sure but will check again with the mechanic prior to my arrival. I come in person and paid $4XX (diagnostics, labor, parts and oil change). The front desk said the noise is still there, as I was signing the paperwork. I go check the car and the same noise still audible. I return to the front desk and asked if they even checked the noise I specifically asked. They took me to the mechanic and all he said was it was an AC diagnostic. They heard the noise but didn't check the component or the blower motor because they do not do things in the dash. Apparently they misunderstood "clicking noise" with "AC not blowing cold air". Why didn't they say that and save me the time and money? Their solution? Go see the dealership - after paying $400 for "fixing" the noise. Or better yet, come back Monday to see the manager, they may be able to have you see a specialist, you know, like a dealership. Save your time and money, go to another mechanic. Better yet, just go to the dealership, it's literally their advice. read more

Came here to get info on replacing a part on car. Manager/owner was rude and proceeded to tell me not to tell him his business, which apparently is turning off check engine lights. Forget Jiffy Lube, I'm coming here from now on. 20 bucks for an oil change and awesome customer service. I walked in to request an oil change and the gentleman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. He said "they had a couple of cars about to come out and that it would be 45-60 min". He printed out the paperwork, I signed it and was on my way to grab a bite to eat while my car was serviced. 30 minutes later I received a phone call from Midas saying "you're car is all done and ready to go". While on the phone the gentleman advised that "everything checked out and looked good except the air filter, it was pretty dirty". He offered to replace it for 20 bucks but did so in a very friendly way, which I appreciated in comparison to Jiffy Lube. At Jiffy Lube I go in for an oil change and they end up telling you that "you need an oil change(they try to pressure you for a synthetic oil change if it's a newer car), cabin filter, air filter, transmission fluid exchange, brakes, tire rotation, car seat covers, steering wheel cover, cigarette lighter, floormats etc etc", it's ridiculous! Decided to give this shop a try and got an oil change done. Got there and in no more than 20 minutes, I was out. Thought Amado and crew were pretty cool, so I decided to take my car again to have my brakes checked because I've had a buzzing in my pedal when coming to a stop, along with a buzzing noise that would come from the engine bay. Explained to him what was happening, what other mechanics had told me and he knew exactly what needed to be done. Also pointed out to me some other things I should start looking at which were for my safety, didn't try getting me to buy anything, literally just said it was something to note. Anyways, got there and was out in an hour, loved how fast they are and the kind of environment they got going. Will definitely be going back, should I need any services. My car had small oil leak which Kia dealership said it was oil pan seal. Spoke with Amado who asked me to bring it in for quote. Instead of having Midas fix the problem, I requested second opinion which was a nominal fee, so glad I did. Mechanic stated it was another problem and car was fixed within a few hours. I waited 2 weeks before posting my review to make sure I found no more leak, problem solved! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I just took my car in because it was overheating they ran a diagnostic told me it was the coolant outlet charged me $550 for labor and the part, not to mention on the phone they kept changing the price from $486-700. next day I pick it up said everything's good as I'm driving home it starts to overheat again I call them he says bring it in I'll see what happened next day says it's something else I now will have to pay again to replace something else. They tell me it's now the coolant fans just so that at the end it turns out to be a whole different part now. I keep asking if that's what it is forsure and how much will it be he had me waiting for 3 hours so I finally just go in person and ask him again because at that point I'm just sitting at home waiting and they have my car sitting also and he was just rambling not giving me any answers finally after asking again what's the labor price at least he tells me what the price is and then now is telling me about a whole different part that I'll need. He also tells me they don't test drive it so he wouldn't know if it did overheat. I get home right now and my car is now blowing steam I check it and they left the coolant lid half open so now all my coolant came out and that was also an extra fee for them to replace the coolant. Waste of time and money I would not recommend coming here I now have to go elsewhere and get it fixed because they can't do they're job right. If I could give no stars I would. I've had to replace my brakes twice and still my brakes are not right in the last year and a half. I am being told it is the way I break I have had my car for six years and haven't had to replace my brakes until a year and a half ago it is a used vehicle so not sure the previous history of the car but I went six years without needing brakes and the manager Armado is telling me it's the way I break. I constantly have brake dust all over my rims and my brakes squeak and stick. The manager is telling me that my rotors are no good when last time they resurfaced them. It's always ridiculously expensive, brakes don't cost that much and it's not a very labor or time intense job! I called to tell them after the second time my brakes were still not right and he wants me to take my car back. Not sure about them but I don't have 3 to 4 hours to take my car for them to try to figure out another thing that is wrong with my car fix something that should have been fixed right the first time. The quaintly they use is garbage. This place is just a scam!!! Save yourself the time and headache and go somewhere else. read more

Hi Jr. Serviced my rear brakes and did a awesome job. The parts folks from a third party agency brought the parts separately and although I had a time to come in around 9:am it too the parts folks a total of 3 hours rounding off to get the parts too Amado the Mgr. So that Jr. Could complete and install the rotors & brake pads. The price was great and the job done was awesome. Thanks Midas. I used to take my car here all the time. I had always dealt with the awesome guy that looks like Vince Vaughn lol. I enjoyed talking to him every time I went in and he was just very helpful and courteous. The last 2 times I went in I dealt with another guy (heavier set) and he was so rude and no help . I asked about 2 things and then just stopped inquiring for info because he made it feel as if I was stupid to ask. Also looks like he kusy disliked being there. So I never went back and it really sucks because the other guy was amazing and always made sure I was taken care of. Rude! Shop manager had a bad attitude. Terrible service would not change my brakes because it was too late and my guys leave in 55 min? As a first time customer, I was disappointed after they took over an hr to inspect my car just to tell me my brakes are bad and when I asked for them to knock it out they denied me and said to come back when I have time? I told I'm not in the area can you help me now so I won't lose my deposit? Manager would not make an exception. Terrible service. Disappointed in Midas overall as a company. Maybe you need to develop your managers on doing what's right for your clients to keep customers coming back. read more
