A little late on the review but it's definitely worth it. I had a little incident with my car which coming from someone who has no idea about cars, I'm glad I ended up here. Lights came on and whatever else that would freak you out, it happened. I thought it was one thing with the coolant which I managed to get some but apparently it wasn't. Lights came on again and that clearly was not good. I needed a garage to be safe and one location popped up. But the thing was, when I got there they were closed and thankfully Midas was in the same parking lot and right next door. Walked in to asked a question which they were helpful with even though they were closing. I showed them the picture of what kept popping up on the screen. The gentleman behind the counter was the sweetest. Let me just say, he could tell I was freakin out. His tone of voice was calming and trying to explain to me what procedure we could take. The best option, leave my car overnight as they were closing and couldn't check it out. That's what I did and the next day, we got the call to tell us what was wrong with it. A quick chat here and there and it was a go on repairs. Left the car overnight and it was completed the next day around 3 in the afternoon. Let me Say, I had no idea where i was in Fontana and glad that they happened to be there when I pulled in. Or else it would have been a different outcome.... lol... Picked up the car the next day and it was great. The staff were all amazingly very sweet. Gentlemen behind the counter was the sweetest and a major doll. Don't remember his name but the demeanor and calmness in him was just what I needed right there and then. Great customer service and took care of my car. Everything was great and the service was great. I would say it would be a great spot for me but a little way too far. But I do recommend them for anyone who needs service done. As they say, as one door closes another one opens. I came looking for a certain place but found this instead as they were closed and Midas was open, just in time. read more

I had an excellent experience at Midas! The team went above and beyond my expectations compared to other places I've had service my car. They performed my oil change, checked my vehicle thoroughly, and noticed that one of my tires was worn and needed to be replaced. I truly appreciate that they took the time to look everything over and make sure my car was safe. The staff was professional, friendly, and honest. It's refreshing to find a shop that genuinely cares about their customers and their vehicles. Thank you, Midas, for the great service -- I will definitely be returning for future maintenance! read more

Midas - Auto Repair Near Me - Fontana, California

I wish I would of found this place sooner. Their staff and owner are very helpful and give you the best price for the job. I'll definitely be using them in the future for more jobs other than the dealership. It's nice to know there are still good trustworthy places where you can get your car serviced. read more

I have gone to this location about 4 times for service on my vehicle, and the service is always great! Ahamado is the best, he really cares for his customers and wants to give them what they need! Prices are also great! It's a far distance for me, but I'd rather drive a bit farther for good quality read more

Been here a couple times already and they're super sweet and attentive. :) They've helped fix issues and at a reasonable price thus far. Didn't take longer than an hr each time either so time is good too, obviously depending on what you need though. read more

This week I had an issue with door latch. The door would not open. I called Many and asked if they could do this job. They have done quality work on my car in the past. I also met Perry on the desk and was professional. The mechanic looked exited to do the job and the value and cost seem fair. This three guys make my new year start with a good feeling and felt I was treated with respect and fair service cost. read more

do not go to this place. They are overpriced and they lied to you. I had a coupon online that I wanted to use for my oil change and the manager said that I was supposed to present it before I had the oil change. This is not presented on their website and they are liars. I do not recommend this place whatsoever and I will never go back. Don't associate with this business read more

Love love this place! The owner always offers the best deals and is just very honest about what you need and what you do not. He isn't there to rip you off and that's something you don't see very often. read more

Called for an estimate for a break job and had the best experience! The manager was thorough, honest, and professional. Has great prices and will be going there ! read more

Called to make an appointment for a free brake check and to give us a quote for repairing a window. Dropped off the car and Amado was friendly at first. A little later that day he called with the estimated costs. Close to $600 just for replacing the front brakes only, rear brakes just needed an adjustment. That's crazy. When we made the phone appointment we were given an estimate of a little over 200 bucks for replacing all brakes, and now its suddenly 600 for replacing just the front?! Clearly someone trying to take advantage and hoping that the customer won't speak up or get quotes elsewhere. The window in the back fell into the door and we were quoted another wild estimate of over $500 to remove and replace the window regulator. Needless to say that they are clearly trying to take advantage of you and all friendliness or politeness went out the window, once he realized we would not be using his services and that he "needed the bay". And while that may be true, you should still be courteous to your customers. We called around and got quotes from a few other businesses and they were all significantly lower. And after all that he seriously tried to charge us 30 something bucks for looking at the brakes?! We spoke up and he suddenly declared that he would wave the fee. Oh really? Please don't do us any favor! The brake check is free after all as stated on your website! Do your research and ask around, don't let them take advantage of you. We went with a different business, had brakes replaced and window regulator repaired for a total of $320 and everything works very well. read more

This place gets ZERO STARS !!!!. Don't be fooled by the charismatic and friendly staff. They held my car hostage for about 3 days and continuously gas lite me about giving me a quote on the repairs. After 3 days of not going to work I had to have my car towed to a more qualified repair shop. Totally unprofessional. They never called me or logged my car in the system for the status then i get a text at 7:30 at night that they could not get an estimate on how much it would cost even though they had my care for 2 days. On the first day my car arrived at 10:11am and they never put it on the machine to get a diagnosis, and I was told they would for sure look at it tomorrow. The next day came and I had to call for status instead of them calling me. This place is not a place for African American women; they have no respect for us. All I got was no status and someone talking to me in a very condescending way as if I was an idiot. Don't even go here for an oil change even though the price is reasonable. They kept making it seem like I was driving the car with no oil when they had changed it only a month prior, makes me wonder if they even put enough oil in it and that's why I had issues. Then he had the audacity to tell me that I needed to UBER to work........I work in LA fool. DON'T BE FOOLED read more

Service was quick , price on the oil change was very affordable got all my questions answered by the nice gentlemen up front . Everything was simple and fast! I recommend coming here also seen they have other services besides oil change ! read more

Amazing service, I took my car to get a major repair done and it came out great. It was done quickly and I was satisfied with price.

Superb service and Amado Ochoa is the best !! This was our second time taking my daughter's car for brakes (first time was a few years ago for front brakes) and all went smoothly again. I made an online appt last Thursday night and first thing Friday morning I got a message from Amado that we could come earlier if we wanted. Once we arrived, he explained that they would check all brakes and let us know what the issue was with the back brakes. Within 1/2 he showed me what the problem was (needed new rotors) and in 10 min had an estimate for us. He even added new pads at no charge. We were out of the shop within 90 minutes with brand new back brakes. I often hate going to mechanics because many like to advantage of females thinking we know nothing about basic car maintenance; but not them !! We could not be happier with the customer service, cost and overall experience and we will definitely be back !! Highly recommend them... read more

You hardly find that in a mechanic. They made a forever customer out of us!! read more

Fast and easy service!! The best prices in Fontana easily. I paid $200 for brakes when everyone else was charging $300-500.

Manager Amado is very welcoming to customers. He will acknowledge you as soon as you step foot in the reception area even if he is busy. Great customer service provided to me by Amado and his team. Midas solved my issue with $0 charge, I had a flat in LA Saturday 9/10 they about to close, I replace two tires however they forgot to reset the dashboard Lights. ( annoying) I came to my dealer Nissan fontana, they wanted to charge me $160 inspection BS( so disappointing ) I went to Midas in Fontana they fixed my issue within 10minutes, no charge! I will come back for sure... thank you to all the tech and front desk! THE BEST IN THE WEST read more

Came here from hemet because no other shops had time today, already had my mechanic do a diagnostic and he said it needed an oil change but he had no time today. Decide to try this Midas out, had no issues when I drove it in, yet my car went into limp mode as soon as I left their parking lot. I'm so pissed, why could my car possibly be in limp mode if the oil change was one correctly! It is Saturday evening so now I have no car until Monday because I refuse to risk further damage by driving it. I had to pull over and get a tow from Fontana to Hemet. Would never ever come here again. I am so frustrated and disappointed. read more

I'm not one for 1 star reviews, but if I could give this place zero stars I would! I would avoid coming here at all costs! I recently made an appointment, informed them of the service I required and the make and model of my car. They accepted and approved this appointment. On the day of said appointment, I walk in and ask for confirmation that they can and will complete the service with the right materials. They confirm that they can and they will. Two hours after dropping off my car, they call to tell me that their technician has refused to complete the service and said that I should just take it to the dealer or back to the place I had it previously serviced. When I proceeded to ask questions as to why they could not complete the service they then informed me that they technically could but I would have to come back the next day because they could no longer order materials. Why would anyone take another day off work to have their car serviced by an unqualified technician?! When I asked for the technician's name they refused to give it, and when I asked for their corporate office number they told me that I could just Google it. My family and I will never take our cars to another Midas, and especially not this one, knowing that they hire unqualified people to work on cars. This is a very unprofessional establishment and they need to better train their employees on the jobs they were hired to do. I highly suggest they review the qualifications of their hired technicians and/or only approve appointments within their limited capabilities. Don't waste your time and just go somewhere else! read more

There seems to be a trend with this location- AMADO! He was extremely helpful, genuine and truly cares about the service he provides each individual that visits this location. My son is restoring a vehicle and Amado helped as much as he could. He went out of his way to provide us advice on further reparation and pointed us in the right direction! His exceptional service and care is truly admirable. Midas should know that this employee not only provides exceptional service but brings more business to this location because of his caring nature! Midas - I give 5 star service..I had my car aligned - Auto Repair Near Me - Fontana, California

While waiting for my son in Fontana at an Army Recruiting location in Fontana I decided to google a few locations to help with getting our van window up since we have been driving around with our window open for about a week now. Not quite having the finances (to be honest) to get window fixed. The places I googled didn't seem to be the right location to take my van to. I googled one last location and ended up at Midas. Would you believe me if I said, I prayed before driving around trying to find the right location? Well, I did. When I drove up to Midas, the Gentleman who's name is Amado said, let me see what we can bless you with. Right there. I knew I was at right place. Amado and his team went above and beyond to help my Family out. We are more than appreciative with the service we received. Was truly a blessing! Thank you again to Amado and team for your above and beyond help you gave us. I highly recommend Midas, Amado and his Team for Auto service in the Fontana Location. One last thing. Price was outstanding! So thankful read more

Midas - Manager Amado Ochoa, Manager and location Information - Auto Repair Near Me - Fontana, California

This is literally the worst experience I have ever had with my car, or any car, for that matter. I took my car here to get an oil change and ever since they touched my car it has been leaking oil. Prior to this, I had no leakage at all. I know for sure because I park in my garage and did not have stains until after they changed my oil. I had my boyfriend take the car back to midas to see if maybe they didn't tighten something all the way since the leak was bad enough to cause very noticeable stains. When I took the car back, they initially said if they messed anything up then they would fix it. After looking at the car for a while, they said they could not determine where the leak was coming from but that they cleaned the engine off and to bring it back as soon as it leaks again. They tried to have us pay $65 dollars for this but we refused. The VERY next day we took the car back in and they said it was normal wear and tear. I don't understand why, if it was normal wear and tear, they wouldn't have said that the 1st time we brought the car back for the leak. They said it was the crankshaft that needed to be replaced. I paid them $295 on 12/3 to completely replace the crankshaft. I picked my car up at 5pm. I came home and parked in my garage. About an hour later I left to go to the store and lo and behold: my car was still leaking oil. I've even attached a photo so you can see the old oil stains and the new ones. Save yourself the frustration and headache. I don't know how anyone could royally screw up regular maintenance such as an oil change. I have a Chevy equinox so it is a fairly standard car that should not have been this much of a hassle! They really deserve 0 stars. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I will never patronize this franchise again. read more
