I was very disappointed with the brakes that Midas installed in June 2021. After spending more than $1600 to replace brake drums, pads, and fluid, it is still not functioning as it should. Midas replaced all the above twice, yet I continued to experience uneven braking and extreme vibration while applying brakes between 40 and 60 MPH. I am depressed and concluded that Midas uses very poor-quality parts for necessary safety equipment such as brakes. Brakes are crucial for the safety of vehicles and hence the protection of my family. But Midas disappointed me. I am not sure if I would return to Midas for my future maintenance needs, and I will not to recommend my friends and whoever reads this review to give their business to Midas. read more

The month of November 2018 hasn't been to kind with all sorts of bad news. Let me start by saying that kindness is still around. I was driving from Roseville to San Jose to see my dad who is ill. I was on I-680 south when my Charger starting to over heat. It hit 260, 280, 300 before I had to pull over at Alcosta. I let my car sit and cool down while I started to search for the closet mechanic or Oil Lube. That is when I found Midas/Speedee Oil. I didn't have time to read or look at reviews. My concern and time was how to resolve my issue quickly. When I first arrived at the shop the crew were a bit busy and even chuckled when I asked if they can check my coolant level for possible overheating. First I found it offensive but at the same time could care less. We looked over at one of the guys who was on his lunch break noticed that my radiator was leaking and possibly the radiator may be cracked. Upon further examination the lower right of the radiator somehow was cracked and was in fact the cause. Eddie said he could find an aftermarket version for a bit cheaper instead of OEM. I said go for it. Some hours later and in the pre evening the car was complete. Temp held steady and I got to see my dad. As of this review Dec. 3rd, 2018 no fluctuations whatsoever. We come here all the time for both our cars and this was the first time they provided us with this new feature, which is pretty cool! Dishonest. Paid $190 for a diagnostics test only for them to tell me it does not cover everything and wanted to charge me an additional $190-$380 to continue find out what was wrong with the car. I wish I had taken it to Lexus in the first place. They charge $240 flat fee regardless of how many hours it takes them to diagnose the issues. Regret wasting my time and money. read more

I have never been to Midas before and I heard many complaints from people. So my review is only for this specific store for a special visit. It started from a break down after the drain plug of the engine oil popped out while I was driving on 680. Ernesto helped me when my car was towed to Midas and was very friendly during the process. He gave me a call after couple hours after I returned home to explain what happened and gave me the plan of what he's going to do. When I picked up the car, he also explained what I should be doing to make sure the engine in a better condition, with little cost :) So overall my experience went through very smoothly and I believe I will give them another chance if I have problem in the area. read more

I brought my Jeep Grandcherokee in for a regular maintenance. The staff found out that the shock absorber was leaking and recommended replacing both. During the consultation, the staff was professional and responsive to my questions. They did not push me to make a hasty decision during the process. Eventually, I decided to have both changed as I drive my car a lot on the high way and did not want it to have any potential problems. It took about three and half hours for them to change the absorber and did the oil change. During the waiting time, i can see that the staff were friendly and dedicated to their job. Overall speaking, I had a very pleasant experience at Midas Dublin. I would recommend this place. Also I would like to shout out to all the people who work at Midas Dublin even though I did not have a chance to know you: thank you for your hard work. Went here for new tires. Got helped and good advice immediately. Ordered the tires and went in next day to get them replaced. Took only 1,5 hr. Only downside was when I drove off the pressure in the tires was not enough so had to get them pumped up. Would've been nice had they checked the tire pressure as well. read more

Im so utterly disappointed in this place. We've taken multiple cars here and today was the last time we will ever be back. We've had problems with our oil pressure so we're took in our vehicle a few months back. They assured us it was the oil sensor that needed to be replaced I assumed after running diagnostics and getting a reading for it..... when the problem came back pretty soon after and taking it in saying the problem is back. The first thing they said was "we don't see this in our system" following "well it's going to be a couple MORE thousand to replace the pump". Why didn't they replace the pump the first go and say it was the sensor? "Well my guys probably HOPED it was the sensor and not the pump." Did you not do the diagnostic run properly that they hoped it was one thing and not the other?... This is not the first vehicle we've had problems here with. NEVER AGAIN! Thank you read more

I've come here to have oil changes done on several occasions and it was quick and painless. The staff who work here are very friendly, professional, and understanding. I saw a customer get unjustifiably aggressive with them, and the employee never lost his cool; just talked it out with the guy calmly and the customer quickly realized how foolish he was acting. I came here today after having the misfortune of running over part of someone's ripped tire, which I thought wreaked havoc underneath my car, with the cover coming partially off. They checked for damage and told me that all that was wrong was a few fasteners for the plastic cover underneath the body came off. They replaced those for me at no charge! Even though I have coupons for other dealers or the Honda dealership, this is why I will always come here for any car issues or maintenance. You can't beat the service here! read more
