I don't know why there are bad review for this location. Very clean environment Don did an outstanding job with our car! My husband had his two back tires popped due to someone throwing wires in the middle of the freeway. We called this location as it was closer to us and they provided us the total price for the service. They took us in right away when we arrived and only waited 10-15 minutes max. Recently I went in to get a service 4 days ago for a brake line that was leaking I had explained thoroughly the day before on the phone, as well at the desk when I came in for my appointment at first everything went well and I had paid before hand a price that was acceptable for what I thought I was getting replaced. The next day I received a service update about a replacement for a part which was the part I had explained that needs to be replaced. Confused I came in and spoke to them about what was going on, The guy at the desk Wyman who took care of me the day before had explained to me that I had paid for a separate service form the one I wanted and Confused again i asked for the actual price that would be needing to pay since they did not have the part and it was in the same area of the part they had assumed i needed fixing. I was Alarmed at the extreme price jump, from a $400-500 service to $1000. We Went back and forth for a while and I did make calls to other auto shops in the area asking for quotes or estimates, which each gave me a lower range of pricing compared to midas asking price. Eventually Raven the AM helped me out brought the price down and we did eventually come to an agreement. With more delays it was eventually Sunday I was able to pick up my vehicle, yet It was still leaking a few hours later after pick up. After driving from vegas and going through the mountains my brakes were shaking bad by the time i arrived in Denver the grind was so bad it was not really drivable. Midas was open on Sunday and i made my appointment for one oclock the first online appointment time. I decided to call before i came. I spoke to Rick (what an amazing human being) He gave me the price of 275 for my front brakes he also got me in at 10:30AM instead of having to wait till one oclock not being able to go anywhere but I had a coupon so I only paid 256 with tax to fix my front brakes. I had my brakes fixed in April by a man doing a side job but two months later i had no more brake pad rotors were torn into. i had bought the parts from auto zone and my parts were under warranty. So this amazing man named Dillon who works at midas took my rotors and brake pads off and drove me to auto zone carried in the box waited for me to warranty them out drove me back and sinse it was going to be the same price weather or not i used my own brakes or theirs. I decided to use their brakes and keep the new ones i got from autozone for a later date. I dont even think i was there an hour it was so quick best customer service I have EVER had at an auto repair shop. Definatley will be back. Thank you again Dillon and Rick. read more

This Midas up charges massively on parts. Wouldn't tell me any info about where they got an alternator, why it was crazy expensive and wouldn't let me go get one myself at an AutoZone for them to install. If it isn't an emergency, never go to this Midas unless you're ready for the 75% up charge on parts that come from their secret supplier they won't give you any info on. Don't schedule and appointment, just go if you're going to go. They confirmed my appointment by email and phone, yet I'm still sitting here watching my truck sitting in the parking lot. Why schedule and appointment if you're not going to get my vehicle in at the appointment time? Doesn't make since. You know you have an appointment for oil changes, why book so many at the same time... Just take your vehicle to Quick Lube. They will be way faster and no appointment needed! This auto business is a master scammer. I was quoted $400 + for a car battery. Then, when I went to buy it somewhere else they were so nice to install the $180 battery for $25.00 and lied to me about the sharp noise coming from starting my engine. The front desk said the car just needed to reset.. bullshit lies.. I will never go back to this auto place.. bad business all around.. The staff is amazing and so polished. I was contacted by mr.miller on original review. As,requested I emailed him,and was contacted not by him but by his manager at Midas. It was requested to bring vehicle back,and it would be fixed ,no charge. Brought back ,and was told I needed a catalytic converter for 1000 dollars. Lol this after telling me week 2 I needed a muffler for 900 dollars. No more nope,went to meinike fixed muffler pipe and welded in less then 1.5 hours total cost 285 dollars 4 week 4 trips 4 lies no service at Midas Only irresponsible people ,not capable of repairs sad part is they charged me 215 dollars ,sent me out with clamps ,leaking muffler.50 dollars of which was for a muffler deposit I never got a muffler. My experience was horrible. I called right when they opened and explained my check engine light was on and my EPC was on too. Rick said to drop my car off and they would look at it. I explained I'd have it towed to the. I called back told Rick my vehicle was on the way. I only live 4 miles away. I never heard anything back. I call and told he would call me back. Next afternoon I call only to be told my vehicle was not there. He said oh it never arrived. When I asked why didn't he call me to tell me that the day before he said my bad, I'm sorry I forgot it was coming. I went to Midas in Aurora after my car didn't pass emissions... I needed a new mass air flow sensor. After waiting all day, it costing around $420 I got my car back and check engine light was off and all was good.... Until the next evening on my way home from work, lights back on. After going to auto parts place to have the diagnostic code checked , it was throwing the code for mass air flow sensor. So I went back to Midas that following day and they told me I had to "drive my car 100 miles, so it can reset the sensor ". This was weird to me but I did that and went the following Friday, do you have my admissions done and I didn't pass yet again due to a mass airflow sensor, so I go directly back to mitis and explain to them how ridiculous it is that I have to keep coming back. They tell me the MAS part had failed.... I feel like they didn't replace the MAS the first time! Then that same week , I had a second MAS failure! Twice? That seems a bit strange, I eventually went to a car mechanic and spent more money, to have him fix what Midas failed at. I would go somewhere else , anyplace else. Oil soaked rag left in my engine, ignited.   I arrived a few minutes early to check in for a scheduled appointment on 10/5/2019.   At 52 minutes into my time there I was cashed out and told that the tech would bring my vehicle right up to the door. Within 15 minutes, the tech came out to talk to the mgr. and the mgr. told him it was a priority. I'm thinking oh VIP treatment, LOL. My vehicle was still inside with the hood up. I overheard the manager tell someone that if your oil change is not completed in 1 hour it is complimentary. Who knew? So, when I inquired about it, the manager laughingly says, oh but I cashed you out within an hour. Hmm ok, if that's your attitude, as if taking my payment stops the clock. I let it go, because frankly it is not worth the stress of debating over $56 dollars. I returned to my candy crushing    He then went to the shop floor to rush the technician a second time, I can see that the tech is still working on my vehicle. The hood is up, like why are you rushing him?   When JR brings my car out, he apologizes and says that he spilled oil and was trying to clean it all up. Warns me that I may smell some burn off and I said no worries, thanked him and left. I was not stressed over my car taking more than an hour, honestly did not know of that policy until I overheard it. However, the manager was clearly worried about it, and I feel like rushing the tech caused him to leave an oil-soaked rag under my hood. The rag ignited this past Saturday after I drove to A-basin to ski. I pull into the parking lot with smoke billowing from under my hood. I'm 1.5hrs away from home, alone, and panicking because I am thinking my car is on fire.   A nice couple heard me yelling, "OMG my car is on fire" and helped me out. The guy opens my hood and is like "oh it's not your car it's this" and pulls out a smoldering red shop rag, throws it on the ground and stomps it out. I was like oh my god, I had an oil change. He says, well they left this in there and that is....bull!   Now is there damage? I don't know, I need to take it in to a Jeep dealership to check it. I am so upset, I just got this car in July. Instead of worrying about $56.00 then. Now they should worry about covering the....should have been comped oil change, a "JEEP" service check for my vehicle, and a rental/loaner car while my vehicle is being checked for damage. I am not fronting any of the money, I want Midas to make the appointment with Jeep and work out the rental/loaner with them so all I need to do is drop my vehicle off and get into a loaner and go to work. Stress free.   I will change my rating once Midas makes this right, because like the guy who helped me said, "this is.....bull! The owner should reach out to me asap! read more

Took my car in for an alternator change and an oil change. My car takes 5w-20 oil. Instead of informing me that they do not carry it they put in 5w 30 hm. I noticed on the sticker that it said 5w30 and called. Was told that they put in 5w 20 but I could come in and get it checked. This is when I found out that they don't carry my weight. The mechanic tried to tell me that both weights are the same if hm. No they are not. Had to sit and wait for them to order and change again. They comped me the oil change but it's pretty ridiculous. read more

The one star is for the good job they did with the oil change, oil filter & transmission flush! , We asked them to check the brakes & the suspension & to do an alignment. When we got the phone call to say they could not do the alignment, we said we would be right down. The reason for not doing the alignment was due to worn out, rusted & deteriorating rotors, rusted tie rods, worn out upper & lower A arms, brake pads & shoes! they gave us an estimate of over $2600. We said we would be back. We took the car to a reputable, alignment shop & asked them to check the brakes all around & the suspension. They did the inspection & outcome was 70% brakes in front & 80% brakes in back with no issues found on the suspension. In fact, they said that they could see we take good care of our car! Bottom line! $81.24 vs $2652.26! Please be forewarned! For big jobs get a 2nd opinion! read more

I would recommend to NOT come here!! I've had to bring my vehicle back multiple times because they f***ed it up so many times. If you ever do go here, make sure RUSS DOES NOT WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE!!!! I brought my car in with a flat that needed to be replaced with a new wheel. My wheel is special and always has to be ordered. When I brought it in, the receptionist said a mechanic could look at it in about 30 mins (not bad). The mechanic checked it out and confirmed that it was in fact ripped beyond repair. I appreciate the effort to evaluate the tire before just selling me a new one. I mentioned I bought the tires about a year ago and manager at the front desk said to bring the warranty in to see if any of tire could be covered. They ordered the tire and said I'd be called when it arrived the next day. The next day I didn't receive a call about the tire arriving. I called and was told it had arrived and to come by in the afternoon. When I came in they put the new tire on relatively quickly. The manager was different that day and completely dismissive. He said my warranty had to be from his store to be covered. I was pissed because the warranty was the only reason I came back to a Midas. The tire was cheaper everywhere else. I asked about discounts and was told "we don't really make any money off tires" which isn't my problem and didn't answer my question. Buying the tire actually cost more than when I originally bought it a year ago which is absurd. The tire was already on so I had no other options but to pay and move on with my life. There doesn't appear to be any benefit to going to Midas and next car issue I won't. read more

Booking an appointment for an oil change was quick and painless. They even let me come in earlier than scheduled when I unexpectedly wrapped up my morning errands way ahead of time. They said that with the oil change and the 65-point inspection, it would take about an hour. It was a little less than that. Logan, one of the managers, was very helpful and clearly explained all of the work that needed to be done on my car. He even provided me with a detailed estimate. The estimate was fairly pricey, but he said he'd be willing to price match if I could find a better deal elsewhere. Overall, a fairly pleasant visit. What a bunch of rip off artists. Took my car in for an oil change and alignment check. Had a coupon for the oil change -- but asked for synthetic oil. Instead of just adding the $20 upcharge for the synthetic oil to make the total bill $50, they charged the regular price -- $70. THEN They told me I needed the alignment done but that I needed a "special bolt" -- that would add $175 on top of the charge for alignment. Told them no. Took the car to the dealer and asked them about the bolt -- they said it wasn't needed and that they've heard from other people that Midas tried the same scam on. I love this shop because of the manager, Josh, and because of the trust I have developed over many visits - 7 maybe?. As an older dude, I'm 69, I've been in my share of auto shops beginning in the 50s with my dad at old full-service service stations, and as a man I kind of like the atmosphere in a "manly" environment" - but Midas is comfortable for anyone. Not fancy, there are no lattes or manicures, and they could have a little more in the way of distractions and food, but it doesn't matter when you're getting good, fair, reliable, and trustworthy service. Josh, the manager is young but kind of old school in his friendly and obvious desire to make you happy. The owner is lucky to have him - and I promise he and I are not related nor were we friends before I became a customer. Good employees are hard to find, and he's top notch. read more

Made an appointment for Saturday at 7am to swap out my winter tires. I arrived on time on they told me they couldn't get to it for an hour and a half! No one in the shop was physically working on any cars at the time, perhaps oil was being drained at that moment. They suggested I go down the street to Big O tires, sending out their own business and not honoring a confirmed appointment! I strongly do not recommend this place for its poor customer service and lack of commitment to scheduled appointments. Went down to Big O and they squeezed me in. read more

I'm sorry to say this establishment gets 0 stars from me! I took my mothers car there for an oil change, no other issues with the car. We get the car back with major engine problems that they claim they didn't do and also say it was a coincidence! None of the engine issues was stated on the invoice after a supposed inspection of the car. Now my mother has to have major engine work done on her new car that's gonna cost over $1000! The car won't go over 15 mph! My warning is for people to watch out for shady shops like this one, especially this one. They mess up your car to make more money off of you! BEWARE!!!!!
