Long overdue review on multiple experiences with SJ Tire now. 1st Alberto came out to our home in Elizabeth on Saturday morning- promptly on time and took around 40 mins to install 4 new tires we had purchased at Tire Rack online. We were not aware they sold tires as well and would price match those. Whomever we spoke with on phone price matched Firestone cost to install at their facility...but instead we got to be home instead. Awesome service all around with competitive prices ; which will NOT rob you dry! We had originally gone into a famous tire spot in our spare ( as tire was damaged near construction site driving home night before) and they quoted us $1200 for four tires that weren't even that good. My fiancé drove off and found Tire Rack and this spot online to install in the comfort of our home. 2nd I recently purchased new tires for my Subaru suv & they installed at work! Excellent customer service & convenient. I just had to take my suv to get alignment at dealer after. Had winter tires installed today; Scott and Josh provided a courtesy call as they were on their way and even showed up a few minutes early- finishing the work in less than an hour. I heard them advertise on slacker and Steve's radio role call, so I called them right away. Having three kids during this quarantine makes it extremely hard to get my car serviced. But luckily they do house calls. I called right away and got a quote. They came in cheaper then the big competitors even after discount tires discounts and credit card promotions. They had a snag in their schedule so Eric hopped in a van and headed out my way to get me accommodated. They showed up and got right to work, about 30 minutes later they were done, charged me the exact price they quoted and were on there way. I'm never going to another tire shop again. Quality Service. Got a fast flat after running over a screw... (I don't get how screws and nails get perfectly perpendicularly embedded into tires, but whatever.) Tried to use the pitiful wrench that came with my econo-box to remove the lug nuts, but the wheel was sagging and the tire shop I last used might have used a bit more force on the lug nuts than recommended. I called and the dispatcher quoted me $75 for on-the-site removal, repair, and re-mount. Definitely cheaper than any tow and repair. Their mobile repair truck arrived about 45 minutes later, and was very neatly organized. In about 25 minutes, the wheel was back on with what was explained to me as double-patch technology. :) I really appreciate the service and Josh the technician. It was literally flat on the ground, so there was no way that I could drive it. I considered calling a tow truck to get it to a tire service center, but came across SJ Tires in my Google search. I called them up, and we set a time for the next morning. They came promptly at said time, and was even able to fix my flat even though I had already left for work. Have used SJ tire twice now over 5 years. First time when my daughter was a student at CU Boulder and our Jeep needed new tires. And again last week. Had to review him. 1) good communication 2) fair prices 3) come to you installation 4) respected my then young student. You can buy through tire rack and have SJ install or handle it all through SJ. This time I thought tire rack would have better access to inventory so went that way. Tires I wanted were on back order anyway. But specified SJ to install. When Sunil noticed, he let me know he could get the tires we originally wanted and took care of getting the refund for the second choice through tire rack. Why have I not known of this company sooner? I am a Discount Tire guy, but waiting 3-4 hours to get new tires-who has the time for that?? I found a nail in the tire of my sports car, and they could have easily patched it, but I wanted a brand new tire.
