From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated. Then we met our host, Shawn, who truly made our experience memorable. His knowledge, personality, and genuine hospitality set him apart. He offered great recommendations while allowing us to enjoy the wines at our own pace. He was engaging, personable, and made us feel effortlessly comfortable. As for the wine, we skipped the tasting and opted for something refreshing on a hot day. We both enjoyed a couple of glasses of the Grenache Blanc! The space itself deserves recognition, too. Serial Wines has a beautiful, minimalist interior that feels both sophisticated and inviting. The comfortable seating and relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind over a glass of wine. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned after dinner for a nightcap, and to our delight, Shawn took care of us once again! He's truly a gem. We'll absolutely be returning whenever we're back in Paso Robles. Thank you, Shawn and the entire Serial Wines team, for such a wonderful experience!

Recently, we came back for a mini reunion and made Eberle a place where our party of 8 could relax, unwind, and reminisce of yesteryears while enjoying the beautiful views from the covered vineyard deck, and needless to say we absolutely had a blast! The tasting experience was still complimentary thanks to the blessed heart of Mr. Gary Eberle (thank you kind Sir), who also happened to grill up some delicious meats and smoked sausage that day (Santa Maria style), which was the perfect pairing to his wines. Special mention to Stephanie, who did an phenomenal job guiding us through the last cave tour of the day...and Mr. Eberle, she truly did your story justice (and then some!). WOW! We left there with plenty of purchases as well...too good to pass up! Oh and ladies, give their Rosé and Muscat Canelli a try...so refreshing! CHEERS and happy eating till next time...

What we didn't expect was to be completely blown away. The facility is on the smaller side without a lot of frills, but honestly that's part of the charm. The staff are warm and genuine, and you can feel their pride in both the winery and the wines they produce. The focus here is on GSM blends and other Rhône varietals, along with Bordeaux blends and varietals -- big, bold, and fruit-forward, but balanced enough to keep things interesting glass after glass. We had such a great experience that we joined the wine club before we left. We don't live locally, but the Ecluse Enthusiast membership is absolutely worth it -- especially with only a 6-bottle annual commitment. It's given us a great reason to make Paso an annual trip, and Ecluse is always one of our must-stop favorites. Since joining, the winery has gone through some exciting changes. They've built out a beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyard, and they were acquired by Thibido Winery. We were a little nervous about what that might mean for the brand we loved, but they've stayed true to keeping both labels separate and distinct -- and we've only benefited from it, since we now get to taste wines from both when we come for our annual pickup. We can't wait to spend more time on that terrace during our next visit. If you're putting together a Paso Robles wine itinerary, Ecluse deserves a spot on it.

I figured we would be seated but the tasting occured standing up at the bar, which was fine. The tastings were generous, and customizable. It was pretty hot, so about halfway through the tasting, we sat down at a table in the shade and walked up for the rest of our tastings but by that time, a large group had come through so the server was busier but still managed to remember where we were in the tasting. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. When we were done with our tastings, we walked around the property to look at the sculptures and the grounds. My first visit was back in December 2019, before any of us knew what was coming in 2020. A group of us girls were in Paso Robles for the weekend, ended up here during our wine tasting adventures, and had the BEST time. I still remember us sitting around laughing, drinking wine and enjoying ourselves so much that we practically shut the place down. It became one of those memories from that trip that always stuck with me. Fast forward to September 2026, and I was back in Paso celebrating my 45th birthday with my partner. I told her there was one little wine tasting spot I really wanted to find again. Sure enough, I found Indigené, tucked away in the same little alleyway I remembered, and we headed over after brunch. And once again, SUCH A GOOD TIME. Raymond, the owner, is an absolute gem. We sat outside at one of the high-top tables tucked into the alley and settled in for our tasting. As locals came in and out to say hello, you could immediately tell Raymond is someone who is genuinely loved in the community. It didn't feel stuffy or overly serious. It felt like sitting around with good people, talking, laughing and drinking some really good wine. We started with a tasting and let's just say...the pours kept coming. There were several wines I really enjoyed, but the 100% Syrah was definitely one that stood out to me. We ended up buying a few bottles to take home, and by the time we finally got off those stools, we both knew an afternoon nap was calling our names. Almost seven years between visits and somehow the same great feeling. Indigené is officially one of our Paso stops now. Whenever we're back in town, we're stopping in to see Raymond. Good wine. Great people. Even better vibes.
