Easily the best experience of this year's wine-tasting trip! Not only were the wines fantastic (the 2017 Reserve Cab Sauv and the 2021 Petit Verdot were my faves), but service and attention were great as well! Molly was attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. The owner and vintner Steve also came out and said hello! This location is beautiful and gorgeous and peaceful. I was very pleasantly surprised to find it not packed on a Sunday afternoon, though it did pick up just a little bit closer to closing time. I had a lovely time and will definitely be back!

Enjoying delicious Syrah on a beautiful day!

If you're looking for a winery where you can unwind and spend the afternoon enjoying beautiful scenery, sampling great wines, and listening to live music (Saturdays 1 to 4pm ) this is the place! They had a $25 and $45 tasting option. We went with the $45 because it offered more red options. It was supposed to be 5 tastings but we ended up with 7 or 8. Their generosity paid off because we left with 3 bottles. The husband and wife owners were out there meeting the customers, answering questions, and socializing. We enjoyed speaking with the wife, Jacqueline. Our dog enjoyed it too! Overall, a really great afternoon, in a welcoming, non-pretentious environment. We highly recommend! We also found out that they do Sunday night concerts out on their lawn. Wished we could stick around to return for that as well.

Updated review - stopped in for a pick up and had a great time, this place has some of the most delicious wines we've ever tried and they treat you like family! the staff is so kind and the wine maker regularly comes around to chat and answer any questions. The property is beautiful and the atmosphere feels like crisp country, like you are at a rich uncles house in the beautiful country side. If you like Tempranillos this is your place! We also aren't big white or rose drinkers but we've enjoyed every white and rose we've tried here!!

What a pretty place with delicious wine. They were all nice and fell in love with our dogs, Penny and Jovi. A special apology from Jovi to Steve! It was the cap.

From beginning to end, the experience was perfect! Molly was absolutely amazing. The service was top tier. We did the tasting, and they had a very delicious wine collection. it was a beautiful day to be in the shade, and the background music was great. Steve, the owner, made a couple stops to talk to us which was a great addition. Some of us left as members of their club and a bunch of great wine!

We stopped in on a Saturday for a wine tasting ($25/ person) and we were able to enjoy some beautiful music as well! They had a great outdoor area where we sat, and there were a few other large tables around us, but it was such a great outdoor space that it never got too loud or felt cramped. I would absolutely come back here! The lady who was helping us was very knowledgeable

What a great little winery! We came here on a whim a few weeks ago and were pleased with our experience. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the wines. I appreciated that there was an option for a red or white flight. As someone who isn't super big into reds, this was much appreciated! The area outside is beautiful, so I recommend grabbing a seat outside! There wasn't anything happening when we visited, but it sounds like they have live music often on the weekends!

Wonderful place! Had a drive thru and chose this place to stop off for a quick glass of wine and chill. I cannot remember the persons name who helped us (Rita?) - anyway, she was SUPER sweet. Hooked us up with blankets and fire pits and drinks. The cherry on top was Brix - the winery's gold retriever. So cute.

Took my parents on a trip to Paso Robles and we did a day of wine tasting. When I was checking out places this place looked so cute so I booked a reservation for us. Once we arrived it was so cute. The chandeliers inside and the rustic inside was perfect. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We were even early to our reservation and they were able to accommodate us which was nice. There was so many dogs playing which was so nice. They created such a cozy environment on the grounds outside it made you feel like you were in your own backyard. The wines were good so we bough a few of the reds to bring home. They packaged everything up nicely to go. Would definitely be back. I also would recommend stopping by for a tasting if you want a nice and laid back wine experience with great service with a relaxing vibe and nice reds.

We really enjoyed this winery. The reds are amazing! This is a must when we come to Paso. The staff and owners are so warm and inviting, made for an even better experience...will be back soon!

Party of 6 for a birthday party. Last minute plans and they were very accommodating. Erika was our host, and she is very knowledgeable and very tentative. It was not busy at all. Perfect atmosphere and gotta love the pups! Wine were very tasty, and my favorite was the Firelight Syrah. Perfect body with the best flavor of black currants. A most stop for a get day off solo or with friends. Steve is the wine maker, and he took time to come speak with us.

They have a great outdoor space, but the wines, communication, music and everything else was meh.

And being totally inside with no views of anything was kind of a drag. But still 5 Stars due to the wines and the atmosphere of the inside. Deena was great and sat down and explained every wine in great detail. She even let me try the Reserve Cab which was excellent. One of the whites wasn't good at all and I had to ask for a new glass so I wouldn't taint the next sample. But you're probably not going to like them all. That's the fun part! I enjoyed learning about the Austin Hope winery and its origins. I felt like they grew in popularity quickly and threw up some barns to accommodate the crowds. For example, the bathroom wasn't well constructed as when people slammed the door shut, the walls shook. I can't imagine how the walls would shake if someone had a blowout here. Even with some of the downfalls, this was my favorite winery and I wish I could get some of the wines without joining the club. The commitment is too much and shipping is also high, so it's not worth it. The GSM was my favorite and if I ever see it somewhere, Ima get me some!

We are the type of members who always take great care of the staff and rarely leave without purchasing extra bottles, yet today we were treated like an inconvenience. Despite being told in the past that spontaneous visits were no problem for members, we were turned away on a gloomy Monday with plenty of open tables. The host at the entrance was incredibly dismissive and wouldn't even let us finish our sentence before cutting us off. We were told our only options were to come back in an hour, a "limited" tasting, drive all the way downtown, or just pick up our shipment and leave. We asked for the Wine Club Manager to resolve the situation, but she wasn't on-site. To be offered a "partial" tasting as a favor after nearly ten years of support was the final straw. It feels as though they now prioritize "closing" new members over honoring the people who have supported them for years. They've gone mainstream and lost the personal touch that made them special.

The place is very busy. We opted for a wine tasting with lunch. They offered 5 wines and proper tasting pours. That was very tasty - the lavender butter and salt worked well with the bread. My wife ordered the Duck Confit and I ordered the Bucatini Pasta which featured Mighty Cap Mushrooms. The sauce was very rich and flavorful. The pasta was cooked properly, and the mushrooms were just so good. The Duck Confit was similar - the duck leg was cooked properly, and worked great with the Heirloom tomatos and plum, all of which sat on a wild rice salad. Roasted Chicken was tender with a light sauce. Pasta with mushroom sounds simple but it was yummy and perfect. For wine tasting, they offered a complimentary welcome taste of Pino Rose, light and refreshing. The tasting had 4 wines, my favorite was the 2022 Reserve Chardonnay. It was buttery and smooth. It was the best view of all of the wineries I've visited and based on the other reviews, I'm not wrong. They used their plot of land well to Wow their guests... I sampled quite a few wines and liked a lot of them. The ones here are apparently different than the DAOU that's in most stores and restaurants. That's a shame actually... I was here in the morning so it was freezing cold out. I'd recommend for a morning tasting, bring a jacket or something (I was there in May). But as the morning neared its end, the sun warmed things up. My wine guy brought some crackers also as I was feeling a bit queasy from guzzling wine so early. Nice touch and prevented the hallways from looking like "The Shining" too. I also enjoyed watching and playing with Cheetoh, the cat who hung around the outside. He was pretty chill and friendly. He followed my wine guy around and let me pet him (the cat, not the wine guy). I'm glad I went and was upfront about why I was there. I think he appreciated it too and he did change my mind about DAOU. I get that it's a business so you gotta sell to the masses, but make some of these others available to us common folk. It's one of the coolest winery tours I've been on. The caves are a massive labyrinth carved into the hillside and naturally stay around 55 degrees year round, which is where they age a lot of their wine before bottling. Even if you've been to a lot of wineries, this is something a little different. At the time I'm writing this, tastings are still complimentary, which is almost unheard of these days.
