Water damage to the front passenger seat.

When my car was returned to me the front passenger leather seat had been badly damaged by water. It rained a lot while it was parked at Mick's Kelly Tire and it appears the window must have been left down. My car is parked in a garage at home and did not have any interior damage before this. I called Mick to discuss how this could be resolved and he was yelling at me in an extremely violent manner so I had to end the call. The cost to replace the skin of the seat is over $1,700.00. Mick's Kelly Tire offered no suggested resolution after this call. The original reason my car was there is that it wouldn't start and Mick Smith said the starter needed replacing which was done in a few days yet the car still would not start. They tried to start it so many times that the battery died, for which I was charged. The final diagnosis was that the transponder chip in my key had gone bad. I needed a new transponder key, not a starter. I hope my review helps consumers to understand that Mick's Kelly Tire is not run by professional people and help future consumers to avoid the situation I am currently in. ***I live in Clinton MI, not San Francisco CA as the review states.**

Go in for a basic alignment, come out with more damage to my vehicle then it has all together. Thanks to their nonchalant approach to their job and lack of respect for their customers property. I now get to stare at 2 large scratches down my drivers door to remind me daily of how much my business is appreciated.

Great service and competitive pricing. In addition to oil changes they've done brakes and tire repairs.

While those items were done, many of my original concerns were ignored or only briefly looked at. Right after picking it up, my ABS and Traction Control lights came on. Within days the check engine light appeared as well. I had to bring the car back four or five times in just two months for the same problem, and every time I was told it was "fixed" -- only for the lights to return. I also asked them to fix a scraping plastic piece under my front bumper, which they promised to handle but never touched. To make matters worse, the check engine light came back on the same day I noticed the bumper issue was ignored. The lack of communication and accountability was unacceptable. I was rarely given updates, felt dismissed rather than taken seriously, and was left without reliable transportation while my car sat in their shop. After repeated failures, poor customer service, and wasted time and money, I have lost all trust in Tecumseh Tire Exchange. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and cannot recommend their services.

On the first try I went to Costco with an appointment. After waiting 45 minutes, they told me they still were not ready and did not know when they would be. So I cancelled and left. Costco is famous for making people wait to excess. On the 2nd try I went to Monroe with an appointment, but they said they did not see the apointment on their system - it being a new off-shore reservation system that did not always work. We left the car. We came back in 45 minutes and they had not started. They were confused about which car was my car thinking it needed transmission cover work. I finally got them to look at the tire, and they said they could not find a leak but to come back if it keeps leaking. That was after I had already explained that I was refilling it every few days when I took it in. Communications at Monroe needs work. So on the third try I wend to Express Tire Saline with an appointment. They started on it right away. They spent no small time diagnosing the problem. It was not the tire nor the valve as I had thought. It was corrosion around the rim allowing the slow leak. They had to dunk it in soapy water and then remove the tire from the rim altogether to find this, and then they had to grind off the rim corrosion to fix it and apply a rim sealant. For $28 cost to me (staying with their phone price quoted) I think they deserve some Kudos here. The tire has not lost any air since they took care of this. I highly recommend Express Tire Saline for tire repair, and they do other work there too. :-)

He said he would test drive it and the next day I called and was told that it was DEFINITELY the tires making the noise replaceable at over $700+. When I went to pick up my car it still made the same grinding noise but I assumed it had been fixed. I drove it to IKEA in Canton, Michigan to pick up a very heavy desk and drove back using interstates. I then took it out to John's Towing for a recheck where the mechanic immediately jumped in for a ride and within seconds told me that I had a bad rotor and that my wheel could have raaily fallen off. I was also told by the mechanic that he used to work for D&M and that he's only out for your cash.
