Walking in, you are immediately struck by a lovely ambiance. The space is warm and inviting, and the addition of real flowers is an amazing and thoughtful touch that really elevates the atmosphere. Complementing this, the service was truly great. Our server was attentive, friendly, and added positively to the evening. It is with genuine disappointment that I have to report the food was incredibly subpar, creating a stark contrast to everything else. We ordered the "Chef's Combo" and the Veal Parmesan. The chicken on the combo was dry and completely lacking in flavor. Even on presentation, it was impossible to tell if this chicken was poached, grilled, or even sous vide to overdone. The veal parmesan was similarly bland. The technical execution was poor. The fried cutlet was soggy. To make matters worse, there was no sauce on the bottom surface of the dish, meaning the soggy bottom was simply from poor preparation and due to the marinara. The price point for the meal was very fair, and would be considered a great value if the quality was even just a bit higher. Unfortunately, the fundamental issues with flavor and preparation make it impossible to recommend based on the food alone. This is a place with so much potential, but until the kitchen matches the quality of the service and setting, I cannot see myself returning. read more

I went to Michelina's to celebrate my birthday because of the good reviews and it was.... Ok. I was excited they had escargot and they were pretty tasty. My vongole though was not the most flavorful and didn't have any clams in the shell, so that was a little disappointing. The portions were a decent size. The prices weren't cheap but they weren't too crazy. The service was friendly enough. So overall the restaurant was ok, but probably not somewhere I would go for a special occasion again. read more

Weve only had the pleasure of dinning here 3 times. As always, the food and service were superb, but it's the second time that we've visited and our request for more bread had been either forgotten about or refused when they did acknowledg the request by a head nod and noise, but for whatever reason did not comply. Our waiter and servers were extremely attentive, so it's perplexing to think that our bread request would have been forgotten. We would have payed more if need be...But when you are paying that much for the experience, it shouldn't be an issue.
